If you haven't been on the internet today, let me be the first to tell you that Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin are reportedly engaged after one month of dating.
A few weeks ago, Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson also announced their engagement.
As always, people on the internet have not held back when voicing their opinions. Earlier today, in a since-deleted tweet, one user wrote, "First Ariana get engaged to Pete Davidson and now Justin Bieber to Hailey Baldwin the devil works hard but Scooter Braun works harder."
Ariana clapped back, tweeting, "...you do realize we are human beings who love and have lives...right...?...love is lit. shit happens..." shutting down the rumor that Scooter had something to do with her, or Justin's, engagements.
She also told people to "be nice to [Scooter]," because "he's wonderful, and very human, and always puts his artists' health and happiness first."
Let's all remember this cardinal rule, shall we?
