Are You Afraid of the Dark? was way too scary to be on the air, and we all know it.

We asked the BuzzFeed Community to share the TV moments that scared the living bajeezus out of them when they were kids. Here are the ones that scarred them (and probably you) for life:

1. The violin girl from Courage The Cowardly Dog:
