I've always struggled with acne due to some hormonal stuff, and although it doesn't necessarily bother me in terms of my appearance, it does sometimes frustrate me when I use a bunch of pricey products, only to see another angry cystic breakout on my chin.
I recently tried out the FOREO Luna Play Plus portable facial cleansing brush, and I've noticed it's made a difference in terms of the overall condition of my skin. I still get some spots, but they're not nearly as angry or painful anymore, and the overall quality of my skin is much better. It really cleared up the congestion I didn't even realize I had around my forehead and nose. It's also a lot more gentle than I expected it to be, which is great for my sensitive skin, and helps get rid of even the most stubborn waterproof mascara. Plus, I don't have to buy replacement heads ever!

"It sucks everything out of your pores – like, EVERYTHING. Using it is simple: you mix the powdery clay with equal parts water or apple cider vinegar (I like to do a combo of the two), and apply it to your face as you would any other face mask. When this stuff starts to dry you are in for an experience.
It freezes your face in place and tightens up every pore, and makes you seriously look like a lizard queen (see above photo for reference). I’ll be honest with you, the feeling is not that pleasant, but hold on – the end result is worth it. You can also just do spot treatments if you don't want to cover your whole face." —Alice Prendergast

"I started using this moisturizer in my teens, when my skin would freak out at the drop of a hat. I found that a lot of skincare products that allegedly helped with tone and texture were actually harsh, drying, or just plain ineffective. But Aveeno really got this one right! It smells great and absorbs right into the skin, so you're never left with a greasy or tacky feeling on your face. Even though I sometimes change up my moisturizer, I inevitably come back to this one, and within a week, my skin always (ALWAYS) looks good enough that I feel confident going makeup free. And if I do decide to dress up my face, it's an awesome base since it makes my skin look — and feel — velvety-smooth. And don't even get me started on the built-in SPF! I am the WORST at remembering to put sunscreen on, so having it in my moisturizer is a true blessing. If I could shout about this moisturizer from the rooftops, I would!" —Victoria Kuglin

"I have oily/combination skin, so my cheeks and chin tend to be drier than the T-zone. I love using the Pomegranate sheet mask to boost the moisture levels in my skin, but all the different types of masks are equal when it comes to hydration. Even after I remove the mask, there is so much product left on my skin and in the package that I use it the excess serum on my neck. I can immediately see brighter, smoother, and more hydrated skin after just 15 minutes on my face. I use them a couple times a week before I go to bed, so I wake up with my skin at its best." —

"Ok first things first, this product isn't oil-free. *screams because you're screaming* That might scare a lot of you who also struggle with oily skin issues BUT HEAR ME OUT. I find that the oil in this product breaks down my makeup quickly, and with the most gentle formula for my skin. AND sometimes our faces produce excess amounts of oil because we are lacking moisture (i.e. oil). Weird, I know, but it's been working so far! Plus, once I cleanse my face, there is no excess oil left on my skin at all!
It starts out thick when you scoop it out, but it quickly dissolves as you rub it into your skin. Overall I love it because it removes my makeup efficiently, it's non-drying, and as an added bonus, it has lasted me an entire year without running out!" - Jennifer Tonti

"I have tried what feels like 500,000,000 different types of face masks because I like relaxing and living my life. I typically go for Aztec Secret when I want an intense purging of my pores, but I was curious about Australian pink clay since it supposedly removes toxins, stimulates cell regeneration, reduces skin inflammation, tightens pores, and provides anti-aging results. The Alya pink clay mask is gentle but strong and smells AMAZING — a little bit like floral, I think? My skin absolutely looked brighter and more evenly toned once I washed it off. I felt VERY pampered. Also, Alya is cruelty free — which is important to me." —Farrah Penn
