The opaque black glass jar, the soft pink label...it all looks so good. This is one of the brand's bestselling candles and it's easy to see (smell?) why. It smells like cedar chips and dried tobacco with notes of florals, which makes it a classic when it comes to woodsy aromas.
3. A ginormous Midsummer's Night candle that burns for 150 hours, aka forever. The scent is very different from the other fall candles on this list; it's a blend of musk, patchouli, sage, and mahogany cologne. It's a huge hit among reviewers, with almost 25,000 5-star ratings on Amazon.
4. A pumpkin and sage candle from Paige's Candle Co. that has some of the best packaging I've ever seen. From the blue jar to the apothecary-like label, I'm in love with how this candle looks. And the smell? OMG, it's otherworldly. My favorite from Paige is this one, but really any of her fall scents are absolutely divine and super original.
5. A Pumpkin + Spices candle by Calyan Wax Co. because pumpkin spice is the definitive scent of autumn, and this one's my favorite (after testing literally dozens). Thanks to brown sugar, caramel, and vanilla, it's just sweet enough to smell authentic, and is infused with clove, cedarwood, cypress, and cinnamon bark essential oils to even it out so it's not too sweet or artificial smelling.
6. A Norwegian Woods candle that smells like you're sitting under a spruce tree right after rainfall thanks to an infusion of citrus, sage, and oak moss essential oils. The burn time on this bb is a whopping 65 hours, and when it's lit, it crackles like a fire because of its wooden wick.
7. A candle that really leans into the season, complete with maple leaf and what I assume is a PSL on the label. This small -but-mighty candle has one simple but lovely scent: baby powder, so it's a nice and clean scent that would be perfect for bathrooms.
8. A uniquely shaped three-layered candle with a wood wick that's the widest I've ever seen. When I burn this it literally sounds like I've got a crackling fire going, and it's sooo nice.
9. Jonathan Adler's Pop Candle in a grapefruit scent that will brighten your day. One of the best things about fall? Citrus! From blood orange to yuzu to grapefruit, it's one of the most iconic smells of the season.
10. A warm and spiced mulled cider candle from Acacia Accents that'll have your whole house smelling like a festive fall evening. This is one of a few candles where I smell it and it smells exactly like it sounds, all thanks to notes of apple, cinnamon, and orange.
11. An apple cider donuts tin travel candle from Angela Rose Studios so you can get your fix while you're away from home. That said, I'm currently burning this bb right next to me at my desk, so to each their own! Even though the dominate notes are cinnamon, vanilla, sugar, and apple, it still doesn't seem too sweet for me. It's literally the perfect-smelling candle, especially since apple cider is my favorite type of donut.
12. Candlefolk's Apple Harvest candle that makes me feel like I've been dropped directly into the middle of an apple farm on the first day of fall. It's definitely apple heavy (in the best way possible) and has glimmers of cinnamon and clove to keep it warm and spicy.
13. A brown sugar rum candle from NaturalAnnie Essentials to fill your home with the sweetness of freshly baked goods, minus all the hard work.
14. A Hearth candle from Jack Be Nimble that'll make you feel like you're cozying up next to a warm fireplace. I especially love this candle because of its packaging. The opaque white glass and wooden lid makes me feel real fancy when I use it, plus the notes of orange spice, balsam fir, and pine smoke go the distance because it's a double-wick candle.
15. A Fallen Leaves candle by Delicate Wicks, which has major autumn vibes thanks to a mix of cinnamon, apple, berries, green leaves, and pecan. The earthiness of this scent is enhanced with notes of cinnamon leaf, patchouli, cedarwood, vetiver, and sandalwood essential oils.
