Tamil Nadu is facing its worst rains in over a 100 years. However, a lot of people have called out the national media for how little coverage the city has received in the news.
Rajdeep Sardesai, news anchor and consulting editor at the India Today group, recently spoke out about the issue on his personal YouTube channel.
He admitted that the press coverage of South India in the national media is inadequate.
And he also admitted that the situation needs to change.
He signed off by saying that the immediate priority should be to help the city of Chennai and its people.
