    Tamil Nadu is currently facing its heaviest rains in over a 100 years. So far, the rains have claimed at least 188 lives, and the deluge is predicted to last for the next 72 hours.

    Chennai's rains have been a dominant topic on social media, trending on both Facebook and Twitter powered by thousands of Chennaiites asking and offering shelter and aid.
