While a large part of the world has been fixated with the American elections – the antics of Donald Trump, in particular – Bollywood has, by and large, stayed away from it.
Well not anymore, because thanks to the Republican Hindu Coalition, a bunch of Bollywood celebs will soon be seen at a gala event that has Trump as its special guest.
"Humanity United Against Terror" is a charity gig for the benefit of Kashmiri Pundits and Hindu refugees, and will see performers such as Shahid Kapoor, Prabhudeva, Ameesha Patel, and many others.
While the cause may be important, Twitter has been more than a little disapproving at the prospect of Bollywood endorsing Trump.
Some users, though, have pointed out other truly legit concerns.
However it pans out, it'll probably be one helluva entertaining gig.
