This week, several celebrities used their platforms to speak out against the death of George Floyd.
Ariana Grande immediately advocated for #JusticeForGeorgeFloyd on Twitter, urging her 74 million followers to "put pressure on DA Mike Freeman" to arrest the involved officers.
She also reminded her followers on Twitter and Instagram that there are primaries coming up — which can be instrumental to solving these important systemic issues:
Well, on Saturday, Ariana also attended protests in person to show support.
Ariana held a "Black Lives Matter" sign as she marched in the streets of Los Angeles.
One fan filmed her marching, posting on Instagram, "Ariana Grande is right in front of me."
Ariana took to her Instagram story to share her POV as she marched in LA.
She also stopped to take a selfie with a fan.

This isn't the first time Ariana has joined a protest. In 2017 she attended the Women's March with her mom, grandmother, and team.
And she hosted the March for Our Lives demonstration in 2018 with a benefit concert.
Thank you, Ariana, for using your voice, platform, and influence.
