I moved from the Midwest to the South when I was in middle school. Everyone had always talked about how friendly Southerners were, but I actually found Midwesterners were more friendly. Southerners put on a faux layer of friendliness, but it was merely surface level pleasantries.…Â
You'll be perpetually tired. Even once your kids get past the phase where they wake up during the night, the busyness that comes with being a parent, coupled with being an adult, will leave you constantly exhausted. The good news: the joys of being a dad make it all worth it!
Building a grocery list based on what you plan on cooking, not buying ingredients that you might use in something. Each week, I start my shopping list by writing out what we are going to have for dinner for the week. I then write on my list the ingredients I need to purchase. When…Â
Tux rentals.
Don't force your groomsman to spend hundreds of dollars on a tuxedo that they will wear one time and have to return. For the cost of a tux rental, you can buy a pretty nice suit, that the person will then get to keep. If you do black suits, someone might already have…Â
I think the writer of #9 didn't mean, be brutally honest, but don't beat around the bush and hope we figure out what you mean. Being direct and honest, depending on the tone and what is being said, can be hurtful. You can be direct without being mean. I think that is a better way…Â

A lot of the larger cities in the US don't do free refills in restaurants (NYC being one of those). It's crazy to not allow free refills with how cheap drinks actually are. When you are getting charged $3 for a soft drink, there is no way you'll ever drink enough for the restaurant…Â
