Cruise performed The Weeknd's "Can't Feel My Face" and "Paradise by the Dashboard Light" by Meat Loaf.

He also joked about performing "Old Time Rock and Roll" by Bob Seger – a song he famously danced to in the 1983 film Risky Business – but unfortunately decided against it.

Fallon performed "Undercover of the Night" by The Rolling Stones and then asked Cruise for a bit of help with his second song – "You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'" by the Righteous Brothers.

The latter track is another song synonymous with Cruise, who performed it with Anthony Edwards in the 1986 movie Top Gun.

"This one goes out to Goose," Fallon said, referring to Edwards' character in the film, before the pair sang to a rather embarrassed-looking woman in the audience.

    Perfect.

Now let's all relive the original in all its glory.
