28 Products That Worked So Well They Turned Skeptics Into Believers

Reviewers thought these products wouldn't work, but boy were they wrong.

    1. A Squatty Potty — "Wait a second...this hunk of plastic couldn't possibly help me poop better..." you mutter to yourself. Well, I've got shocking news for you based on personal experience: it can and it will.

    2. A loose face powder whose low price point (under $5?!) may have some folks doubting it, but that truly helps you set liquid foundation or give your natural skin a matte finish just as well as far more expensive brands. Over 3,500 five-star Amazon reviewers are backing me up on this.

    3. A combination broom and squeegee for rounding up pet hair both out of deep carpets and spread across hardwood floors. You thought your floors could never be fully clean again while you had pets, but I'm happy to say you were wrong.

    4. A Busty Bralette that lets people with a larger chest *actually* enjoy the comfort of a bralette while still being supported. We CAN have it all.

    5. Earwax removal drops, because sometimes big time relief comes in a teeny tiny bottle. Instead of shoving wax further into your ear while using a cotton swab, try some of these drops instead.

    6. A pair of Bandelettes for protecting your precious thighs against panful rubbing and chafing. While just plain lace might not be able to do it, stretchy lace with grippy interior strips sure can!

    7. Death Wish Coffee that may have hardcore caffeine heads saying "Pfft, I can handle it." Slow down there, buster. One cup of this should replace the multiple cups you have of normal coffee, so proceed with caution.

    8. A hand-held milk frother whose small but mighty aerating action allows you to make lattes and cappuccinos in the comfort of your very own home. Heavenly.

    9. A humidifier that may be small, but has no problem remedying the dryness you (and your plants, may I add) are going to face this winter. You may be skeptical at first about its power, but your sinuses will be quick to tell you otherwise.

    10. A pineapple corer and slicer so you can cleanly and expediently prep your pineapples. I know, I know, there's a lot of fuss about single-function kitchen gadgets. But when's the last time you cut a pineapple and thought, "That was easy." Never — until you met this beauty.

    11. A pair of Crocs that even the most initially hesitant of reviewers swear are wildly comfortable. If you've been debating getting some for years, now is undoubtedly the time to give them a go.

    12. A clip-on silicone colander for quickly and easily straining things without having to fully dump them out, surely losing some in the sink. Anything from pasta water to excess grease can now be easily removed with a *clip, clip, tilt* — and in any size pot or pan!

    13. A stainless steel soap bar that may look like an innocuous chunk of metal but will actually remove onion and garlic smells from your hands and — reviewers claim — BO from your pits!

    14. A pack of Mighty Patches so you can show pimples who's boss. Simply pop on a sticker before bed, sleep peacefully, and wake up to a flattened whitehead. Huge if true (it's true).

    15. A pack of dishwasher cleaning tablets, because if the device you use to clean isn't clean itself...truly what's the point?

    16. A pot of Hard as Hoof nail strengthening cream so even if your nails have always been flaking, tearing glorified pieces of tissue paper, they can finally get big and strong.

    17. A makeup brush and sponge cleaner for finally getting your old application products back in like-new shape. Tbh the most unbelievable part of this product is that you're actually going to clean your brushes, but please prove me wrong.

    18. A fabric de-piller to rescue any knits, upholstery, microfiber, or other fabric from certain death by fuzz. You can and WILL wear your favorite vintage sweater again!

    19. Versed Press Restart Gentle Retinol Serum that takes first-time retinol users under its wing, giving them the renewing, plumping effect that makes retinol so popular without the dryness and irritation it can often cause. It's even gentle enough to be used nightly, with or without moisturizer.

    20. Olaplex No. 3 hair treatment, which brings over-bleached and damaged hair back to LIFE. Rise, zombie hair, rise! You'll be fabulous and healthy in your second life.

    21. A pack of Bottle Bright tablets that will make you regret ever having thrown a gunky tumbler away. Little did you know that one tablet could cure those woes. Time to forgive yourself and promise to use these in the future.

    22. An Aerogarden for turning your previously plant-killing thumb into a green one. This device will keep herbs alive and well in your own home, with VERY little effort required from you.

    23. A cooktop cleaning kit, because by golly if a flat cooktop isn't the hardest thing to clean. One instance of boiled-over rice and it feels like the world is ending. No longer!

    24. A Blueapple freshness extender that couldn't possibly keep your produce fresh longer...right? WRONG! The Blueapple absorbs ethylene gas, which is what causes produce to ripen, extending its shelf-life and giving you more of a chance to actually eat it.

    25. An essential oil migraine stick to finally give you a bit of a reprieve from those migraines or headaches you've been suffering from. It's no replacement for prescribed meds of course, but over 1,400 Amazon reviewers who gave it a five-star rating vouch for it!

    26. A shampoo brush that'll help lift dandruff from your scalp and send it right down the drain. It also just feels stinkin' good, so truly a win-win.

    27. A blackhead remover vacuum to suck even the most stubborn blackheads, whiteheads, dead skin, and grease up up and away from your skin. That gunky photo on the left will be burned into my mind for the rest of my days.

    28. Glossier's Boy Brow that'll thicken and fluff your brows to unbelievable perfection with just a swipe. If you've ever seen someone's brows and thought "I wonder how they get them so naturally flawless," there's a 99% chance the answer is Boy Brow.

A healthy amount of skepticism is good, but these reviewers were convinced and I think you will be, too!
