Funny UKIP Campaign Poster
I'm a UKIP supporter but we Kippers can still make fun or ourselves a little.

Portal 3: screen shot? Either that or GLaDOS has infected the London Underground mainframe and is slowly converting the Tube into a test chamber.
Saturday evening, November 8th, 2014. Two Brit tourists in Antalya Airport, Turkey get approached by what I think is an Italian family. The family are accusing them of some kind of theft. The Brits are outraged as the guy tries to forcibly search them. It was unclear if the family were just accusing random strangers or not at first but if you look very carefully at the 2:20 mark you can see the the man finally grabs a purse away from the Brit guy and his lady instantly recognises it and checks to see if the contents are still there. She does this in plain view of the Brit guy but he doesn't demand the return of the purse which kind of implies that he knows it was theirs in the first place. Who knows, maybe the Brits, ahem, picked it up by mistake. Either way, they are lucky the family took things into their own hands because after they recovered their property they left it at that. If they had asked airport security to search the couple instead then, having four them with 'misplaced' property, they would have been spending the night in a Turkish jail cell. Sorry for the shaky cam at the start. It stabilizes after a time.
A Chinese woman with a meat cleaver to her throat is uber calm despite a nutter ranting and threatening to kill her. Here is the link to the story. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2600008/Pictured-Terrifying-moment-cleaver-wielding-man-grabs-hostage-street-threatens-cut-throat-police-tackle-ground.html
8pm, Feb 5th, 2014 outside the Porchester health club on Queensway, Central London. A Lebanese guy starts to reverse into an available parking space only to find his path blocked by (what I believe to be) a Spanish lady. She told him that her husband is on his way and she was saving the parking space for him. The Lebanese guy was having none of it and a fifteen minute stand off ensued; along with about twenty vehicles backed up. All parties were adamant and passionate but well behaved and for the most part, civil; which is not a given in London these days. Several of us told the lady that the Lebanese gentleman was in the right and that a 'person' can't stand in a parking spot and save it for someone but she refused to relinquish the spot. Then hearing that the police had been called and seeing that the circus was being recorded, her husband told her that they should give up and drive off but she still refused for a while. Eventually they conceded defeat and went on their way.
Arma 3 would be a good game if it weren't for the fact that the devs conflated theoretical simulation with experiential simulation. They factor all kinds of things into the experience of controlling a gun view with the mouse but in the end it just ruins the experience. One of the main things they don't understand is that it doesn't matter how much an 'actual' gun weighs. Abstract information does not make for simulation. The mouse weighs almost nothing so having the scope/iron sights move in a sluggish and delayed way and over shoot the aim point does not lead brain to a simulated experience but rather causes it to struggle with the clash of conflicting visual and tactile input. Even worse; it would be bad enough if the gun vew had either mouse acceleration (which would need the mind to constantly adjust) but it has intermittent and environment related acceleration/deceleration/overshoot. Add to that the fact that the user gets seriously out of breath just by bringing up the iron sights or scope and is positively asthmatic after running just ten metres then the game is all but unplayable. It seriously needs a mod to stabilize the weapon view and get rid of the stupid fatigue 'simulation'.
Top Ten list on Dec 17th Letterman show with Tom Cruise had joke 'You don't need to be gay to enjoy a cruise'. Accidental or intentional diss?
I've always wondered if certain movie cliche's were inspired by an actual real world event. This funny 'explosion walk away' 2 min vid (with a twist) that I made might prove that they are.
Harrow Fitness first promised to freeze Alex's fees for the summer holidays while he was back in Italy but when he came back they renegged and ordered him to pay. So we enacted how we would go over there and deal with the situation.
Thomson Sub-machine gun as featured on 'BROAD WALK EMPIRE' and 'PENN &TELLER'.
