    Immigrants Are Telling Trump That They're #HereToStay

    "We are still undocumented, unafraid, and unashamed."

    After Tuesday's election results, many feel heartbroken, afraid, and disillusioned that Donald Trump will be the United States' next president.

    Trump began his presidential campaign by vowing to build a wall between Mexico and the US, and later said he would deport 11 million undocumented immigrants living in the US.

    But despite having a lot to be afraid of, immigrants and their allies refuse to go down without a fight.

    They started the hashtag #HereToStay to tell Trump that they're not going anywhere anytime soon.

    They're unashamed.

    They're supportive.

    Feel safer at school this morning because a number of classmates have reached out & pledged their support as we fight back. #HereToStay

    They stand strong.

    To my fellow Muslims & Immigrants. Know yourselves & never become who they say you are. Stand strong & fight with peace & love. #HeretoStay

    They're fighting for their home.

    I'm 18.. I've lived here for 17 years... This is my home.. #HereToStay

    They're inspirational.

    To the beautiful, courageous undocumented community: You inspire me daily. We will continue to fight. You are #HeretoStay. #electionday

    They understand sacrifice.

    As much as I say I'm going to leave this country if Trump wins, I won't. My parents sacrificed a lot to come to this country. #HeretoStay
