What Is A Book Adaptation Storyline (Or Character) That Was Created For The Show Or Movie That Just Didn't Work OR You Loved?

Netflix's adaptation of Shadow and Bone has added A TON of new storylines.

More than ever before, books are being turned into TV shows and movies. And, if you have a book that you love, you're probably like me and you get so excited to see actors embody the characters and stories you love, but you can also be a little nervous.

So, when it comes to book-to-TV or book-to-movie adaptations, you definitely have storylines (or even characters) that were added that you either loved or kind of hated.

Maybe you're like me and you've greatly enjoyed all of the additions to Daisy Jones & the Six — namely the expansion of Simone's character AND Daisy and Billy acting on their romantic feelings for each other, both of which weren't in the original novel by Taylor Jenkins Reid.

Perhaps you don't like how Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows — Part 1 added in the much-discussed dancing scene between Harry and Hermione, but cut out Remus and Tonks's son, Teddy.

Maybe you're a big fan of The Hunger Games adaptations, and love how they let Effie stick around in the movies, as opposed to us not seeing her again after Catching Fire until the very end of Mockingjay.

Heck, maybe you just don't like all of the added storylines the Crows have gotten in Netflix's Shadow and Bone because you really just want to see the Six of Crows story play out on screen right now.
