23 Pixar Movie Easter Eggs That Actually Alluded To Future Movies

Did you know Dug from Up makes an appearance in Ratatouille?

Since Monsters, Inc, Pixar animators have been hiding Easter eggs that actually hint at upcoming movies and it's CRAZY!

Some of the Easter eggs aren’t even recognizable until a future movie is released!

So, here are all the Easter eggs, so far, in chronological order:

    1. In Monsters, Inc (2001), Nemo from Finding Nemo (2003) is actually seen three times. He’s painted on a mural, hanging in the trailer Randall gets stuck in, and also one of Boo's toys:

    2. In Finding Nemo (2003), a boy in the dentist's waiting room is reading a Mr. Incredible comic book from The Incredibles (2004):

    3. Also in Finding Nemo, Luigi from Cars (2006) can be spotted driving past the gang as they escape the dentist's office:

    4. In The Incredibles (2004), Doc Hudson, who was originally supposed to star in Cars 2 (2011), is parked in Metroville during the final battle:

    5. In Ratatouille (2007), Dug's shadow can be seen in an apartment Remy wanders through — Up would later be released in 2009:

    6. Also in a Ratatouille short film called Your Friend the Rat (2007), WALL-E appeared as the driver of a vehicle on Mars — WALL-E would later be released in 2008:

    7. In WALL-E (2008), Carl Fredricksen's walker with the tennis balls can be seen in WALL-E's home behind his TV — once again, Up wouldn't be released until 2009:

    8. In Up (2009), Lotso from Toy Story 3 (2010) is seen in a little girl's room while Carl's house is floating away:

    9. In Toy Story 3 (2010), Finn McMissile from Cars 2 (2011) is featured on a poster in Andy's room:

    10. Also in Toy Story 3, newt crossing stickers appear in Andy's room, which reference the cancelled Pixar film Newt (2012):

    11. In Cars 2 (2011), a car version of the DunBroch family tapestry from Brave (2012) appears in the Ye Left Turn Inn:

    12. In Brave (2012), a wood carving of Sulley from Monsters, Inc appears in the witch's hut. This was a nod to the upcoming release of Monsters University (2013):

    13. Also in Brave, the witch throws a newt into the potion she's making, once again alluding to the cancelled Pixar film Newt (2012):

    14. In Monsters University (2013), toy versions of characters from The Good Dinosaur (2015) appear in one of the scare simulators:

    15. In the short film Toy Story of Terror! (2013), you can spot paintings hung in a motel room that depict dinosaurs under a tree, another allusion to The Good Dinosaur (2015):

    16. And then in the short film Toy Story That Time Forgot (2014), the three posters in Mason's gaming room allude to three of Pixar's then upcoming films: Inside Out (2015), Cars 3 (2017), and Coco (2017):

    17. In Inside Out (2015), giant statues of Forrest Woodbush and Arlo from The Good Dinosaur appear in Riley's memories of a road trip to San Francisco — The Good Dinosaur was released five months after Inside Out:

    18. In The Good Dinosaur (2015), Hank from Finding Dory (2016) appears at the bottom of the water when Arlo learns to swim:
