Marrying into an ensemble cast can be a difficult gap to fill, especially in an established cast.

While there are a fair share of on-screen spouses who just weren't it (cough cough, Ross Geller), we can't help but remember those who made us ~gush~.

These are the 10 spectacular sitcom spouses in particular we wish were real:

1. Jordan Cox (Scrubs):

ABC

Tough, funny, sexy, smart, and the absolute highlight of Dr Cox's life — Jordan is everyone's favorite sparring partner when it comes to the Sacred Heart Hospital. Not only is she the mother of his children, but her and Cox's bitter, but wonderful, relationship is incredible to watch.

2. Mike Hannigan (Friends):

NBC

Lovable, sweet, creative, and willing to embrace all of the wonder that is Phoebe Buffay — Mike is a standout hubby on this list. He fits in well with the group; he's romantic, dorky, and creative, and he loves Phoebe like no one else. A great addition to the show!

3. Jerry (Superstore):

NBC

Although we never even learn Jerry's last name in Superstore, we see him fall in love with Sandra in an awkward yet endearing, perfectly-matched partnership throughout the show. Their wonderful tropical nautical cowboy wedding is a great reflection of their relationship, and their soft sweet love for each other is clear right up until the very end of the show.

4. Kevin Cozner (Brooklyn Nine-Nine):

Kevin is the slightly softer half of the household and brings out a brilliantly emotional side to the stern Raymond Holt we know and love. He's protective, smart, dorky, straight-laced, and witty, and he loves our captain and Cheddar so much.

5. Dylan Marshall (Modern Family):

ABC

Although it was always going to be a toss up between Andy and Dylan for Hayley's endgame romance, Dylan fits in so well with the Modern Family group and is the perfect father for the Dunphy twins. A little spacey, dorky, and a great match for Hayley, we love his protective streak over the twins and his dedication to his own style, even as a father!

6. Patrick Brewer (Schitt's Creek):

Pop! TV

Kind, gentle, and patient — who else could put up with David's drama with so much love and optimism but Patrick? His endless love for the family and for David is charming, and he fits in so well with the Roses. Their wedding was a wholesome and emotional moment that truly summed up their journey together.

7. Tracy McConnell (How I Met Your Mother):

She's perfect — there's no other way to say it. Matching Ted in every weird and wonderful way, she truly was the woman he'd been waiting for all those years. While her untimely death might have been a controversial exit, it's universally agreed that Tracy was definitely worth the wait.

8. Diane Lewis (Parks & Recreation):

NBC

Bringing excitable little girls and a wholesome family life into Ron's everyday routine, no-nonsense Diane can handle Ron's stoic character like no one else — not even Leslie. Laid-back, rational, firm, and kind, she's perfect for Ron and his quirky office family.

9. Holly Flax (The Office):

NBC

The only woman who could pry Michael Scott from Dunder Mifflin needs a special mention on this list — a fun, lovable and dorky match for the world's greatest boss. Although their relationship had its ups and downs, their friendship and their romance makes them an iconic pairing, and Holly made a great addition to the paper company's office.

10. And Aly Nelson (New Girl):

Officer Aly Nelson is a fun, beautiful, and wonderful addition to the New Girl squad and she matches Winston's chaotic energy perfectly throughout the show. Tough, calm, and fair, she's a great foil to Winston's chaotic ways.
