Here Are 26 Sex Toys That LGBTQ+ Reviewers Absolutely Love

Serious shoutout to the queer reviewers who are doing the work, so the rest of us can shop confidently. We appreciate you. ❤️ 🏳️‍🌈

Let's be real: A lot of sex toys are gendered or marketed with gender-specific language, which sucks because we know gender isn't real and biology doesn't equal gender. It can be hard to get out of the his/her mindset, but at BuzzFeed Shopping, we're trying to be different, as in hella inclusive and making sure all bodies are represented with the sex toys we round up and recommend for you.

This is a roundup of sex toys that members of the trans, enby, genderfluid, and genderqueer communities have reviewed and recommended as great options to use for pleasure and/or to help with gender dysphoria. These are the toys and products that make them feel their most authentic selves.

That being said — there is a lack of gender-affirming pleasure products specifically made and/or designed for transwomen. I've included a few toys with reviews from transwomen and also some that can be used by people who are Intersex and/or AMAB. TL;DR: The lack of available products for transwomen is disheartening and unacceptable, as transwomen deserve to be represented and have more options included in roundups like this one.

We hope that this is only one of many LGBTQ+ specific sex toy posts to come in the future, and that this helps prompt the creation of more products designed specifically for trans people and their pleasure in the future. If there are any trans-affirming or gender-affirming sex toys that you think we've missed, let us know in the comments!

1. A vibrating shareable dildo with a smooth, curved shaft to feel the five vibration settings from the removable bullet for both partners. This dildo is waterproof and anal-safe for versatile play.

Fun Factory

Promising reviews: "I've always been a major bottom, but this makes topping a million times funner for me. This is like, a sacred prized possession for me. It's such high quality and the material feels so nice. The design is really pretty too—I pulled out the pink one at a hookup and the girl went 'aw cute!!' lol. I think both ends are the perfect size—nothing too crazy but nothing wimpy tiny either. Really easy to maneuver and fuck girls in all different positions (vag & anal) without slipping out (haven't tried it without a harness yet tho). SO HAPPY I forked out the money on this one, it's going to get a lot of use for years." —Lyndsay R.

"I'm afab with a AMAB partner and we both love this toy. I use it to peg him and the way the bulb stimulates your G-spot as you thrust is *chef's kiss*. The bulb is filling and feels mostly secure though with out a harness you do need to be mindful or just keep a hand on the base to keep it steady at times (which is standard for this category of toys so no biggie). With a harness it is game over, so good. The tip is beautifully tapered making anal a smooth operation. I also reach for this toy during solo play cause it is a beautiful experience especially as gender queer person to be able to experience a version of male bodied masturbation; again *chef's kiss*. Also it is amazingly ergonomical using it as a single player dildo and makes finding the right angle easy. As for quality, it is a beautiful hunk of luxurious silicone and feels wonderfully hefty. And it's forgivingly bendy (everyone's insides are in safe!) I love it. He loves it. We all love it. Thank you for making a toy that makes the emotional/intellectual high of pegging a deeply physically pleasurable one as well. Highly recommend to anyone interested in this kind of play." —Katherine

Get it from Fun Factory for $129.99 or Amazon for $124.98 (available in violet and pink).

And definitely check out this round-up if you're looking for the best strap-on dildos and harnesses for partnered sex.

2. A Jack 2-in-1 stroker and packer, boasting representational hues and a ribbed cavity that provides suction to the wearer for a stimulating stroke session.

Model holding assorted colors of Jack packer
Model wearing realistic packer and boxers
New York Toy Collective

For packing, it's recommended to be worn with a strap-on / harness, so that it stays put. The stroker cavity stretches and works best for anatomies at least 0.5" in diameter because it will create suction, any smaller and the suction will not be activated.

Promising review: "My partner and I used the Jack yesterday. They are trans masculine and three years on testosterone. We used it in two different ways. The first way, I used a nice amount of lube, opened the stroker and suctioned it and stroked. It worked best with reinforcement by hand. Most FTM strokers we come across seem as if they are designed for trans masculine folks who are more developed growth wise physically. With that being said we improvised and the toy wound up giving amazing results for my partner. They give it a 9/10 and said that they are interested in seeing this develop in different shapes and sizes. I also suctioned it, applied pressure with fingers and performed oral sex. He said it was very pleasurable to be able to receive head and have the point of view visual that Jack creates. It helped with his dysphoria." —Summer

Get it from New York Toy Collective for $59 (available in four fleshtone hues).

New York Toy Collective is a Black- and queer-owned retailer that creates high-quality, gender-affirming intimacy toys and products, ranging from packers and binders to dildos and accessories.

3. A five-piece dilator training set meant for helping you strengthen pelvic floor muscles, exploring internal massage or just generally easing your body into penetration through regular dilation.

Pastel pink dilators arranged by size
Lovehoney

Each dilator is created with supple silicone and boasts a tapered design with an easy removal finger loop at the end. Sizes range from 3 inches long and 1.5-inch circumference to 6.5 inches long and 4.25-inch circumference.

Promising review: "I'm a trans woman and am using these for dilations, I find they work better than straight glass dilators. Could have used an intermediate size between the fourth and fifth ones, it's a big jump. The ring base is easy to keep hold of when covered in lube. Easy to clean." —Petra F.

Get it from Lovehoney for $94.99.

4. The scintillating Satisfyer Pro 2, boasting 11 intensities of no-contact clitoral or T-growth stimulation, so you can ride wave after wave of pleasure.

There's also a more in-depth review written by an Intersex Male person, if you're interested.

Promising reviews: "There aren't many reviews on here from trans men, so I thought I'd throw my opinion out there in case there are other guys out there looking for something to spice things up. This toy is heavenly. It works well on many different parts of the body, and I have had fun exploring different places to try it: clitoris, nipples, etc. I love the simplicity of the vibration settings. You can turn the vibration up one level at a time, making it easy to build up to a climax slowly, or you can jump up multiple levels and get things done quickly, if that's your thing. I am so glad I bought this toy, and when this one finally dies I will buy another one. I've had it for a couple months and it's held up great. 12/10 seriously recommend this product for anybody with a clitoris. You will NOT regret it." —a. b.

"Took less than 10 seconds the first time I tried it. Interested to see what my wife thinks...this is unlike any toy we've ever used...and as lesbians, that's saying something! Such a great purchase! UPDATE****** wife LOVED it! Usually a one hit wonder....she had 3 in less than 10 min." —Brittany

Get it from Amazon for $34.95+ (available in three colors).

5. A vibrating silicone plug from Unbound that's sure to shake things up with its tapered end and ring handle for easy insertion and removal.

Model holding purple vibrating anal plug
Unbound

The Shimmy plug has five vibrating speeds and five patterns to add a little more rumble to anal-play and is completely waterproof and submersible!

Promising review: "This was my first plug and I’m very very happy with it! It was a little bigger than I expected so I recommend trying to visualize the dimensions before buying (picture for hand comparison), but I adjusted quickly and found it to be very versatile, easy to use and fun to play with — great for partnered or solo sex. The silicone is soft and flexible on the ring/outer part which makes it easy to move around with. As a sex educator, I was especially pleasantly surprised to see that it comes with a thorough guide on how to use it that includes safety and pleasure information. Yay for informed sex, Unbound! I’m transmasc and vaginal penetration is a no go for me for a couple reasons, so this has really opened up a lot more options in the bedroom for me as well as being very gender-affirming. I appreciate that the marketing isn’t super gendered for that reason. I use it with Jelly and had no problems. The vibe is strong for me so I haven’t needed to go past the first setting — I kind of wish you didn’t have to press it so many times/go through all the higher settings to get to the different patterns, but I love that there are so many options and can’t wait to explore more! The box is also so durable and cute to store it in :). This is my second purchase from Unbound and I’m very happy with it again, I’ll definitely be coming (back) again and again and again if you get my drift…" —Lucy D.

"This is an amazing product! As a trans woman it's incredibly hard to find toys that work for me as I don't yet have a *cough* front hole. This one does the trick! It's genuinely changed my experience with any toys I use as well as making going into the shower an enjoyable and fun experience. Any other trans women out there looking at this toy: do it! It'll do the trick, I can pretty much guarantee it." —Kiara S.

6. A slim 6-inch dual density dildo boasting a realistic design and suction cup base to help it stay put (even if you don't).

Neon orange dildo
Amazon

This strap-on compatible dildo is 1.25 inches wide.

Promising review: "As a trans guy with a trans woman partner who doesn't enjoy large/hard toys, finding the right toy can be a challenge. This is it for us. It's slim, and smooth with no hard ridges, works great for anal, and is flexible enough for a variety of positions. I don't actually use it with a harness because I find them to be overly bulky or uncomfortable, but I can say that a lace-up jockstrap (found at a local sex shop) works great. You kinda just put the base against you and then lace up over the plate with the shaft sticking through. Bonus, you can adjust the height of where the base sits for optimal positioning. As far as the material goes, many people are snobs about it not being silicone, but we have had absolutely no issues, and we've used it a fair bit. No smell or residues at all. Tip: cornstarch for storage keeps it smooth and dry. There truly is no better deal for what we were looking for." —Dex

Get it from Amazon for $18.99.

7. The Starsi vibrator, which combines function with full-on adorableness with its supple silicone design and unique star shape that curves and clings all over for out-of-this-world sensations.

Model holding pink star-shaped vibrator
Cute Little Fuckers

Starsi was designed for all bodies to explore pleasure and can be used with the included removable bullet vibrator or without, in case you are a fan of grinding or just want to stimulate areas with a little less intensity.

Promising reviews: "My partner and I have had so much fun with this! It's so soft and all the different parts have such different sensations. The bullet is so strong too, I can only use it on the first setting!! As a nonbinary person I've been so pleased with this toy, it really alleviates any dysphoria I have about playing and it's such a relief! What a lovely toy from an incredible company!" —Kate

"Trans lady here, and I love my Starsi! Soft and versatile. I've never wanted to play with a toy so often. Easy to clean, too. Highly recommended!" —Hay

"I absolutely love this vibe! Very versatile and I can regularly achieve my goals with the vibe. A surprising little side note, I started using it as a packer from time to time and the euphoria from having star shaped junk is 10/10." —Violet-Jane

I have yet to try it with a partner, but I appreciate it for the work of art that it is. It is pleasantly squishy but has the solidity of the firm inner core, and it can bend however you wish it to. Definitely 5 stars! I am wearing it as I type this, because I can’t bring myself to take it off yet. =^)" —Trey

New York Toy Collective

Oh, and if ball-slapping is not your thing — it also functions as a cock ring.

Promising review: "I feel like I’ve been missing out my entire adult life before this thing. Not only do they hang and swing in a pleasing way (which is nice for my identity as a trans man) but when I’m intimately with someone they create a new level of sensation that has led to some very exciting results. The design is complete genius. Thanks NYTC!" —Griff

Get it from New York Toy Collective for $49.99 (available in four fleshtones and four colors).

10. A transparent masturbator sleeve designed to envelope your dick (or clit!) with stimulating massage beads for a mouth-watering good time, whether stroking or adding to fellatio.

Promising review: "I'm a trans man who has been on testosterone for 10 months. I haven't had too much clitoral growth associated with testosterone so I was worried about the hole being too large for me to fit in, but it works really well! I definitely encourage buying this product." —H.d.H

Get it from Amazon for $8.34.

11. A minimalist vibrator that has three speeds and a tapered tip for targeted stimulation. This vibe includes a convenient canvas carrying bag for when you eventually decide to take it on the go.

Model holding clay minimalist vibrator
Maude

Promising review: "Hi, I'm transmasc. Most vibrators turn me off (no pun intended) with the way they look/are marketed, but this toy made me see god without making me feel bad about myself or my body. It's simple to use and is really nice. I was previously an electric toothbrush user, but I decided it was time to treat myself to something a bit better. This was an awesome choice! The charcoal is a bit more gray than black, but not a huge deal. The Maude vibe has a really pretty design. :)" —Damian

Get it from Maude for $49 (available in four colors).

12. A fantasy packer for trans guys designed with a flexible tentacle in soft silicone, so you can adjust it to whatever fits your most authentic self.

Green tentacle packer
Fantasticocks / Etsy

The packer is 5.75 inches long from the base to the tip and has a girth of 3.75 inches near the base.

Promising review: "I've been using this product for a while now and the gender euphoria is very real for an enby like me who wants the feel and shape of a packer without it looking like an anatomical human phallus. Amazing customer service too after a misunderstanding on my end about the color. This maker truly cares about your satisfaction and was very easy to work with for me, I would definitely recommend them!" —Sam Brown

"My friends 'sponsored' my recent purchases here and had very specific requests to customize each item so they could be based on experiences from a recent trip together, and this was one of them. I'm impressed by how well the shop owners honored those requests to make some beautiful tentacles. This is my first packer I've ever owned, and I love this little guy so much. My friend asked for an ocean wave aesthetic for this one, and the result is breathtakingly gorgeous in person. It's a small packer, which is what I was looking for, and it looks cool seeing the outline of the tentacle suckers through my underwear. It stays decently in place even without a packing pouch, and it feels great to the touch. The material and the pour makes it very stimmy on a visual and tactile level. Very happy to have this one as my first packer. :)" —Myles

Model holding mint wand vibrator

Promising reviews: "The Ollie is *chef’s kiss*. I am a transgender man and I struggle finding sex toys that make me feel good without alienating my gender identity, but Ollie does just that. It’s comfortable and easy enough for use on someone new to vibes but strong enough to satisfy someone who’s quite familiar with them. This is definitely the vibe I reach for when I’m certain I want to orgasm lol. I find that my experiences with Ollie are especially enjoyable when I cover the head with lube or the Jolt gel — completely fixes any dryness issues. :)" —Matt

"My partner and I both love Ollie so much, we consider them a part of our polycule. We are trans/enby and have trauma where sex is concerned, but with a little (a lot of) communication and this toy, we have had some of the best sex either of us have EVER had." —L.L.

14. A stretchy, silicone sleeve that's reusable and boasts a unique interior pattern to deliver extra stimulation with each stroke and rub.

Blue, white and pink masturbator sleeves with interior views of textures
Savkom

These sleeves are closed and 3.7 inches long unstretched. They are compatible with water-based and hybrid lubricants and include a handy single lube packet to help get you started.

Promising review: "Made this trans girl happy! I bought this along with a couple other sleeves...I'd played with lots of other toys before but never used a masturbator. This beat the others hands-down for several reasons: First, it's REALLY stretchy, which is great for getting it on. Some of the other products I've tried had less give and as a result they could either slide off easily or squeezed too hard to give me the gentle sensation I was after. I love that I can stretch it generously to put it on or take it off. It's also very easy to flip inside out for cleaning. Plus, when you thrust into it, you might even stretch it enough to be able to see through it, which for me at least is *very* hot. The stretchiness of it combined with the closed-end design also means...suction. If you're going for a stroking motion, definitely lube up, but I like that when it's dry I can put it on and pull/squeeze gently at the tip and get some fun teases out of that. One of the things I've realized I get dysphoric about is 'making a mess,' so I love that this toy lets me let loose without worrying about having to clean up the immediate area. With the freedom, squishiness, and suction...I've found that I can put it on (under some undies to hold it in place) and use an exercise ball to bounce my way to a hands-free orgasm. Anyway I love this toy, it's given me so many things to explore and I've been able to wash and reuse it dozens of times. I'll happily order more once I wear this one out. :)" —Yummy

Vibrant graphic print boxers with O-ring harness

Two interior pockets for bullet vibrators are strategically placed around the O-ring to add a little more rumble. Check out the site for more colors and prints!

Promising review: "RodeoH boxers are possibly one of the best inventions for a lesbian couple. They are just 'normal' high quality boxers that my wife wears under normal clothing and within seconds we can be 'playing!' None of the faffing about with silly harnesses, it’s just simply put on and put in!" —S&V

"I am a bisexual female, and my boyfriend happens to be a bisexual male. Rodeoh opened a whole new world for us. Strap-ons have been very awkward and uncomfortable for me, which took away from the experience. This morning we were finally able to make love in an entirely new way. I feel in love with my sexy bottom boy all over again, and then all we had to do was slide them on and start round two. Thank you so much for such an awesome product!" —Carmen

16. A rechargeable strapless strap-on, so you can get a little closer to your partner. If that's not enough bang for your buck, it also vibrates on both ends.

Purple silicone wearable strapless strap-on with rabbit ear clitoral stimulators
Lovehoney

You can spend less time buckling and adjusting and more on pleasure with this rechargeable strap-on designed with 12 speeds and 8 vibrating patterns for endless thrills. Oh, did I mention it's waterproof?

Promising reviews: "I bought this when it was on sale, but I'd say it's definitely worth the full price. Since my partner and I are both Transgender men this toy helps us have fantastic penetrative sex that stimulates both people — without having to wear a harness. The bulb really hits the G spot while the ears stimulate the clitoris. I've used other strapless toys but they would often slide out which is a problem I rarely experience with this toy. Since it stays in, it really allows you to get lost in the moment until it almost feels like it's your own penis penetrating your partner. The product itself is smooth and high-quality. However, it is also quite firm and a bit too slim for my taste when I'm on the receiving end, but a bigger and heavier toy would likely not stay inside the wearer. It's easy to clean and the battery lasts for a long time. Overall, my favorite toy to use with a partner." —Bi.Guy

"Wow! Worth the money! 32, gay woman and tried with my partner today. As the receiver, holy god, I came so fast and hard, and multiple times. Whew! It vibrates very hard against the g-spot, and is a good length. For the wearer, the fact that it's adjustable is super helpful. We used it with a pair of strap-on briefs underwear, and it worked great. All the power to the women who can keep it in with their pelvic floor muscles. It came in a cute bag that you can actually run the charging cord into when you charge it. Easy to use, buttons are in a good spot and aren't easily pressed on accident. Anyway, buy this. Trust me." —Bri F.

Get it from Lovehoney for $99.99.

17. A customizable silicone grinding pad offered in whimsical color mixes and designed with silicone ticklers and ridges — over 80 individual nubs — to stimulate your favorite external genitalia.

Promising review: "INCREDIBLE OH MY GOD??? Product feels so good on bottom growth (people on testosterone rise up plssss) and it’s amazing for solo or partner play, easy to clean and maintain AND I strap it to my thigh for my partner to grind on. :)" —Jillian Mckenzie

Promising review: "My fiancé is a trans woman, and I am a cis woman. This was delightful for both of us to enjoy. Good shape on both ends, great selection of vibrations." —Staci

"Have had this product for a few about 3 months. I am a lesbian and use it with my partner. Here are some comments: The material is super soft and comfortable. We both enjoy it. You might not even need lube. The shape is the most ergonomic I have ever tried. Much nicer than realistic dildos, which can hurt sometimes. The longer part reaches on various areas inside you, it's interesting. The vibration is very well distributed along the toy. The bump close to the middle of the longer side reaches the clitoris on the one using the short side, which is a nice extra. It has several vibration modes, so you will find one you like. Overall a good toy for lesbians who like penetration and both can enjoy it. Even the softer vibration mode is a little too strong for me, so it's best for people who like a little rougher and stronger vibration." —jess

Get it from Amazon $39.99 (available in red and purple).

22. A dapper penguin clitoral stimulator designed with Satisfyer's unique air-pulse technology for non-contact suction and pulsation sensations at 11 different intensities.

It's also waterproof and makes a perfect go-to bath toy that no one would even suspect.

Promising reviews: "I was a little concerned at first about this toy not working out for me. I’m a transgender man and I’ve been on hormones for three years. When you transition from female to male you uhh.... experience some growth below the belt. Being on testosterone for so long, I’ve gotten most of my downstairs growth done. As a result, finding toys that conform to my new anatomy are hard to come by, especially 'male' toys that I’d like to use but don’t have the length or girth to be able to use it. Beyond buck angels toy line there’s nothing out there for guys like me who wish to engage in intimate activities that do not trigger dysphoria. Although this is a toy geared towards women, I highly recommend this to other trans/nb guys like myself whether you’re pre/non T or on T, especially if penetrative sex is not something you’re comfortable with! I also recommend this for guys like me who’ve been on T for a while and want more toys. I was worried the opening wouldn’t be deep or big enough since it’s tailored to cis women’s anatomy, but as a trans guy on the above average side of things, trust me, you’ll fit!" —Skyler

"I was a bit nervous that my growth would be too big to fit in the hole, but it was just the right size! (I've been on T for 3.5 years.) I have been trying to find a toy like this for so long. I came so quickly it was unbelievable. If you are a trans guy, (or not), I couldn't recommend this product more." —Kindle Customer

23. An FTM fantasy stroker, which is 4 inches long and has an opening just under an inch wide, offering a tight, but stimulating sensation that can be controlled with a simple stroking motion.

Promising reviews: "(I'm a returning customer.) Aesthetic? Beautiful! Love the way the colors are balanced and swirled. Design? Inclusive, new, fun. The internal texture is so THOUGHTFUL! It's what initially drew me in compared to other transgender-friendly strokers. Use? Everyone has a unique body. I have been on testosterone for about 2+ years so far, some bottom growth, and I'm a very heavy guy. I used a "pump" beforehand. (I recommend reading more reviews for tips to improve your experience!) It's pretty intense and gender-affirming for me. My favorite part is the open back. Not necessary, but it's a perfect fit for my bullet vibe. So awesome. It works for me. It's custom, affordable, and you can tell that there is love that goes into the production of this store's body-safe toys. From aesthetic appeal, function, and customer service: Perfect!" —Christopher Wilcox

"I’m a (recently) post-op bottom surgery (simple meta) trans man, and this toy is PERFECT. I don’t know if I would have had the same amount of success pre-op, but maybe. Anyway, this toy is amazing. I have a couple strokers from my pre-op days, and they simply don’t compare to this one at all. This one is super soft, has such lovely textures on the inside, and honestly is gorgeous. The only learning curve for me was learning how to hold it down and go at it, since I’ve not really been able to do that before. But that feels just as amazing as using it purely as a stroker. Highly recommend, 10/10, but you definitely need substantial bottom growth to get the full effect." —deCoverly

The wearable bulb and shaft each have nine vibration modes independent of each other that can be controlled by the wireless remote. Not to mention, this toy is waterproof for extra wet play and designed with a textured clitoral base and realistic shaft to deliver targeted sensations.

Promising reviews: "Me and my partner were very pleased (me especially) with this product! I was skeptical about it being strapless and staying in but boy oh boy does it work. If you are in a lesbian relationship like me, this product will definitely spice up your bedroom. Love this product!!" —Becs

"I got this for my girlfriend and I (lesbian couple) for Valentine's Day. I am totally impressed, and she (who has never used toys before) is in love. We first used it without the vibration going, with the short side in her and me on top. It felt great for both of us, we both came, I came harder. Next I got the short end with her on top, also loved it, I convinced her to turn on the vibration at the lowest steady setting. She came harder than I've ever seen her come. It does slip out as easily as I expected. The remote does not seem to turn it on proper, but it will go through the vibration setting. 10/10 recommend this amazing toy for any lesbian couple and I imagine it would be good for somewhat experienced pegging." —Sarah

Promising reviews: "Screams, moans, unbelieving gasps, and crotchal-to-crotchal vibrator sharing. Then there was a lot of lying back exhausted, breathing heavily, and saying of the word 'Wow.' Fantastic for couples without penii. (Probably fantastic in other contexts, as well, though I can't attest either way to that.)" —pretty squid

"I loved the Zeep vibrator! It felt great to place all over my vulva while the tip allowed for my sensation play along my clitoris. Also love using this hands-free while grinding on a pillow. It’s so cute too, and a regular part of my solo sex routine." —bananas
