Promising review: "Not going to lie, I saw this on BuzzFeed. I ordered this, set it up, and immediately fell in love. I live in a cramped little apartment I share with several other girls. There's almost no space for any of my personal bath stuff, and I also knock over a lot of my roommates' stuff in the process of getting in. I let the girls know they were free to put their stuff in too, and about a week or so later every one had migrated their stuff in the curtain! It holds well, keeps items dry, and clears space in your shower so it feels a little calmer and more soothing. I honestly love this thing and it's held up pretty well. I've had it a couple of months so far and I foresee this lasting for a good amount of time." —g. castro

It has ten fan sound options and ten ambient noise options, and is small enough you can easily pack it for travel.
Promising review: "This is so freaking great. I've been using white noise machines for years and years but ended up finding this through BuzzFeed. My old machine had looping audio and drove me insane, so the fact that this is non-looping is everything. It's also very sleek and modern. I live in downtown Boston with construction sites literally boxing me in my building with noise nearly 24/7 between that and cops/fire trucks. This knocks out the noise and allows me to sleep or nap at any time of day without hearing anything." —ML

It takes just five minutes start to finish! Plus all the plates are dishwasher safe, so cleanup's simple, too.
Promising reviews: "Saves me time and money! Saw this on BuzzFeed and went for it. I am so glad I did. I make egg sandwiches every morning and this has made a significant cut in time spent cooking as well as the dishes I am using. I am able to prepare, cook and enjoy a delicious sandwich all by the time my coffee is finished brewing!! Well worth the small price!" —Julie clark
"We are very cynical about specialty appliances but BuzzFeed caught our eye when our defenses were down. Imagine our surprise when it produced nifty breakfast sandwiches. We use high quality ingredients, so whole grain muffins, sharp cheddar slices, nitrite free ham and pasture-raised eggs, and they add up to a healthy and tasty breakfast. I guess the joke is on us this time. Plus this is a breeze to clean." —Judith Favia

Promising reviews: "So thankful I came across this on BuzzFeed. I WISH I'd taken photos of our microfiber sectional when I used this on all cushions, pillows, and arm rests. It’s easy to use on all corners, edges, and surfaces for my couch and did not damage a single thing even if I pushed down hard. One thing to be aware of: you need to keep the “trap” clean. I probably emptied it 10 times throughout the 25 minute clean on my seven-person sectional and pulled any longer strings out of the turbine area. I did this six months ago and still haven’t needed to go back over any part of my couch. Awesome buy!" —Meg
"I am the target demographic for those BuzzFeed articles that start with '25 products that we can't live without...' — this was one of those purchases. I didn't realize how much we actually needed this until we got it and I started shaving everything. It is an amazing feeling. So far I haven't run into any issues where it shaves too close or creates holes. Overall super happy with the purchase so far." —Kelly

Promising review: "Oh my god I need everyone to know this tongue scraper is LIFE CHANGING! The past few months I’ve noticed a weird white/grayish look to my tongue and have had bad breath which I’ve tried everything to control. I saw this on BuzzFeed and figured, why not give it a try. Literally the first time I used it, I could see such a major difference. Not to be too gross but like holy hell I could visibly witness all the gunk being removed from my tongue. I couldn’t look away. The next morning I could tell that it worked. I had ZERO bad breath and my mouth wasn’t so dry. This product truly is life changing. And so easy to use. You just hold the cleaner with either one hand or both and just gently scrape your tongue. It’s painless and super user friendly. 10/10 recommend." —Katelyn Foehner

Promising review: "I will buy this forever. I've basically had razor/red bumps since I started shaving my legs. I've tried every razor and shaving cream out there and finally accepted the bumps. I saw this in a BuzzFeed review and got it and I rarely get them now! I didn't think it was possible. It took a week or two to clear the bumps. I use a little bit every day even when I don't shave. It does sting but only for a few seconds. The smell goes away too." —Kelly

Promising review: "My big toe on my left foot was hurting and I wasn't sure why. I had never had an ingrown toenail before so I didn't realize the issue at first. It got to the point that it was throbbing and even the comforter on my bed hurt when it was laying on top of my toe. I saw this product on BuzzFeed of all places and decided to check it out. Application was easy and I followed the directions step by step to make sure this thing worked. I let it dry and then reapplied my nail polish and you can't even notice the damn thing. I woke up the next morning AND MY TOE DIDN'T HURT ANYMORE!!!! It's been six days and it hasn't fallen off, and I notice it's starting to correct the curve of the nail." —Megan Kelly

Promising review: "These were listed in a BuzzFeed article as something you MUST buy. Seriously, I have never wanted to clean our toilets as much as I do now. These little brushes have gotten off years of stains and water scum from our glass shower doors in just a few minutes. I would have never been able to get them even a fraction as clean by hand. We had stains in the toilets from our well water that I thought were permanent. Turns out that they were easily erased with this handy little brush. Our grout is sparkling again and my husband thinks I have lost my mind with the drill. I have actually been walking around the house looking for things to clean with this. They even cleaned our birdcages immediately with just water and no chemicals at all. What a great Amazon find!!" —Happy Yogi

Promising review: "I've had horrible iron stains from my water since we moved in three years ago. I’ve tried everything I could think of and nothing works. I’m so glad I randomly saw a positive review of this on BuzzFeed. It's amazing and I wish I took a before picture to compare how awesome this is!!! It’s a miracle! I did use a screwdriver brush to cut the dirty work but seriously this is the cleanest my tub has ever been!!! But def be careful: a single fan and open window is not enough for the fumes." —Rebecca

It works for all hair types, including grey hair; and its active ingredient is ketoconazole 1%, which can help reduce the fungus and inflammation that causes dandruff. Most reviewers love it for dandruff of course, but there's a subset that have found it useful for irritation or dermatitis on their face, too (although if you have persistent symptoms like the ones described below, definitely go to your dermatologist to figure out what's going on).
Promising review: "I can't say enough great things about this product. It was actually featured in a BuzzFeed article. My husband has struggled with blotchy red, irritated facial skin ever since before we started dating, and we've been together almost 10 years. The blotchy red patches were mainly beside his nose onto his cheeks, and eventually also in his sideburns. The patches would get dried out, the dead skin would peel off. And when I say he's tried everything, I mean it. A lot of the reviews on this item describe his symptoms. Even though it's "dandruff shampoo" the reviews we read said they used it on their face for the same facial reasons. With this, he noticed a difference QUICKLY. After just two washes, his face was smooth and clear! He is so thrilled and happy!" —SMSB

FYI, hydrocolloid patches work best on acne filled with pus (aka whiteheads), and not necessarily so well on that deep-set hormonal acne.
Promising review: "I bought these for my teenage daughter. She’s had such a tough time with acne. We’ve been to the dermatologist, and short of taking pills, we’ve bought every product recommended and she still has pimples that come up. So, on a recommendation from BuzzFeed’s awesomeness, I decided to purchase them. She stuck five of these patches on the first night. The next morning, she was yelling 'Mom! Mom!' When I got to her bathroom she told me she took the first patch off, and the pimple practically disappeared overnight! The same with the other four patches. She is incredibly happy with this product." —lcwells

Promising review: "I was skeptical about the BuzzFeed review but ordered this anyway, being partial to pineapple. Follow the instructions and it works as stated. I find it helps to cut both top and bottom of the pineapple. There's some waste as about half an inch of fruit is left on the sides but this nifty little device works so well that it's not a problem. Push down and turn the handle very firmly and remove the stem carefully. The steel edge can and will cut your palm if you're not careful. Useful gizmo, this. But use with care. There's some wastage but it's MUCH QUICKER than cutting off the outer layers, slicing it properly, removing the core etc." —Tobermory

Promising review: "Does exactly what's advertised. This was my first time using Affresh, after seeing it on BuzzFeed. It's so easy to just drop in a tablet! After my first use, the machine definitely smelled better. There wasn't much residue to wipe up either. (I'm having a problem with mold in my front-loader. There are just too many hidden areas around the rubber lip. Affresh helped get rid of some of it, but obviously it is not designed to tackle mold. If anyone has suggestions for that, I'd appreciate it.)" —Willard T Motomura
Will, if you're reading this, I'm guessing you already leave your washer door open when you're not using it; I'd also suggest using a towel to completely dry all the crevices around the lip every time you finish laundry for the day. Besides that, r/HomeImprovement recommends wiping the inside of the seal down with Lysol or a Borax solution once a week!

The peeling process can take up two full weeks to finish and you may need to skip the sandals for that time, so plan accordingly with any summertime activities or vacations!
Promising reviews: "This is the weirdest product ever. I am fairly certain that magic is involved somehow. I had awful calluses and cracks on my heels that even the pros couldn't get rid of when I had a pedi. I saw this on BuzzFeed oand thought 'why not?' I am so glad that I did. My foot skin melted off. it was so so so strange. And my heels were super soft and beautiful afterwards. This was months ago, now, and I just keep up with a pumice stone. If my feet ever get that bad again, I WILL be buying this product again. The magical foot stuff works." —Maggie
"This product is amazing and does what it promises. I found this product on BuzzFeed over a year ago. I was having plantar warts that still came back after freezing. I used this product once. It worked perfectly, and over a year later my feet are still soft, wart free, and ready for sandals any day of the year." —Caitlin

Promising review: "This stuff is amazing! I saw this recommended on BuzzFeed as a dupe for Opalex (which I had tried and wasn't blown away by) so I thought I would give it a try...I'm so thankful I did! My bleached and heat damaged hair feels so soft, is more manageable, and looks healthier after each use. I agree with other reviewers that it seems like a big price tag for the size of the bottle but a little bit does go a long way and it is so worth it." —Carley S. Whitson

Promising reviews: "Saw this on BuzzFeed. Yes, it works like it says. I have an ice maker and use this for iced coffee. Drop a few of those in some Kahlua or whatever your spirit coffee drink is. I may use one to make mint ice cubes for water. Anyways, this is great. The seal holds firm and it is impressive." —CafeMiami

Plus it'll reduce the amount of dirt and bacteria that tend to accumulate on makeup tools over time. (Oh, and it's cruelty-free.)
Promising reviews: "I saw this recommended on BuzzFeed. I clean my brushes (not as often as i should) and I have NEVER gotten this much gunk out of my brushes with regular soap. this stuff is amazing, takes almost no scrubby effort and my brushes are the cleanest they have ever been. Definitely recommend." —Melissa
"I've always tried to wash my makeup brushes and sponges weekly. However, while using face washes worked great for my brushes, it left my sponges looking dirty. One day I was scrolling through BuzzFeed and saw this product. Well, I am seriously impressed. All of my sponges of various colors look almost brand new after using this. Even my white sponges look only faintly tinted in comparison to what they used to look like. It does seem like it takes quite a bit of product to do each sponge, but it's low foam and definitely gets the job done. I'll certainly order another bottle when I run out." —G.T.

And — although the listing doesn't explicitly say so — many reviewers safely use it on silk (you'd just want to make sure the dyes wouldn't spot, first).
Promising review: "I love this steamer and have recommended it to friends, who have also purchased and love it. I read about it on BuzzFeed, clicked the link, and purchased. It is well designed and works like a dream. It heats up fast and wrinkles disappear in seconds. I have no complaints and would repurchase. I will hopefully never have to touch an iron or ironing board again, ever." —Amazon Customer

Reviewers of many different body types report loving it, although one person who bought after seeing it in one of our posts notes that it doesn't have any built-in boob support, so if that's on your must-have your list, this may not be the perfect suit for you. (Which checks out with another reviewer's note that it's really best for casual swimming and lounging not like, jogging along the shore).
Promising review: "I tend to avoid products with a rating lower than 4.5 stars but I made an exception for this suit because a) I'd seen it all over BuzzFeed, b) I needed something low-cut to tan for my also low-cut wedding dress, and c) it really does look amazing on everyone in the reviews. The risk was 100% worth it! The pattern is strategic and makes my body look amazing. There is a lot of fabric in the top, so I recommend hoisting the straps snugly when you tie them and then folding the fabric under as needed for the level of exposure you prefer. I love that this swimsuit can go from super sexy to fairly modest with a few small tweaks. The back is low, but in a sexy way; I can see how wearing this suit would also be good for getting an even back tan without strap lines. I'm SO glad I bought this." —Gina

You can get it in both lotion and spray forms; the lotion lasts the longest (up to 14 hours against mosquitos and ticks) but the spray's easy to apply on clothes (and lasts up to 12 hours against mosquitos and ticks). I think it's not technically quite as effective as DEET against mosquitos, but if you hate the smell and texture of the stuff, this is a great alternative.
Promising review: "I bought for my boyfriend, who seems to attract mosquitoes way more than I do. I don't blame them, but it is not fun for him at all. Saw this on BuzzFeed and took a chance since the price was right. We try to stay away from DEET, and picaridin seems to be safer in comparison. He took it to his family's land and slathered in on before doing some outdoor work. Not a bite! Mind you, he was in the woods and fields of East Texas, so there were bugs aplenty, but this kept them at bay and he came home happy! Highly recommend!" —Erica T.
Get it on Amazon: the lotion for $8.95+ and the spray for $8.25+ (both available in multiple sizes, and the spray's available as either a pump or an aerosol).
The icing on the cake? It's both cruelty free and vegan!
Promising review: "I live where the wind and air hurts my face. I used to put on multiple types of creams, and my face would still be flaky and dry. I went on a limb and purchased this after reading a review on BuzzFeed. Normally I would be taken aback by the price, but I was in desperate need to hydrate my skin. I only put this on for one night and now my skin is so smooth it actually feels alive." —GardOfWine

Your drawer does need to be at least 3 1/4 inches high for it to work, but in my experience at least, that's most drawers.
Promising review: "So I stumbled upon this thing on one of those BuzzFeed kitchen gadget lists. The second I saw it I was intrigued. The wife and I were wanting a drawer separator for cutlery, but we couldn’t find anything that utilized space effectively. This thing is great at keeping things separated and is designed to use space well. We store our spoons, forks, and butter knives using this separator and still have space left over in our drawer to store oddly shaped utensils such as ramen spoons. It feels like the right tool to get the job done." —A.J.

The cord swivels so it won't get all twisted as you make your way through your mane, and you can choose from several heat levels. Even better: it automatically shuts off so you don't have to post a giant sticky note on your back door reminding you to turn it off before you leave. (And if you're doing it regularly, be sure to spray some heat protectant on your damp hair.)
Promising review: "I love this product. I saw it recommended on BuzzFeed and thought I'd give it a go. It does great with my hair, which typically gets frizzy and has a small but messy wave to it already. It's hard for me to straighten my hair in the summer because it takes forever and if rains or I'm sweating, it starts to affect my hair. This, though, gets a great wave going throughout my hair that only takes about 20 minutes max. It completely eliminates any frizz and just smooths it all out. It's been a great, go-to look for me this summer with little effort, which I always love. The waves stay all day for me. They just start to relax a bit more through the day and look even better and more natural at times. Well worth it." —cziegler
Get it on Amazon for $22.73 (or check out an adjustable version — with all the same features — that gives you four different wave texture options for $34.99).
