It's that time of the year! Holiday rom-coms are coming our way, and I, for one, am excited AF. After the roller coaster that has been 2020, I could use a little normalcy — aka sipping hot chocolate from my couch as I watch romantic Christmas movies with ridiculous plots.
And nothing matches that description better than the upcoming The Princess Switch sequel!
In case you missed the first one, Vanessa Hudgens played Stacy, a baker from Chicago, who traveled with her friend Kevin to the Kingdom of Belgravia. She met Lady Margaret, who looked just like her, and the women obviously switched places because that's what you do when you meet someone identical to you. Stacy fell in love with Prince Edward, and the Duchess started dating Kevin. So cute!
In the new trailer, Stacy — still happily married to Prince Edward — is ready to support her girl Margaret leading up to the coronation.
The lookalikes switch places again so Kevin and the Duchess can work on their relationship since long-distance wasn't really their thing.
But this time, there's a THIRD doppelgänger! Margaret's cousin Fiona is in town, and it looks like she wants to be queen.
Vanessa Hudgens AND cute guys AND Christmas AND nefarious plots to steal the throne? What more could you possibly want?!
