Well, if you can relate, I want to hear about it! Which TV series main character have you never really liked?

I'll go first: Ally McBeal. I've been binge-watching shows that were HUGE when I was younger (I'm 30) but I never watched. Most recently, I've been enjoying Ally McBeal while at the same time disliking the show's star.

For those who don't know, the series Ally McBeal was a legal comedy-drama that premiered in 1997. It centered on lawyer Ally McBeal and her colleagues at a Boston law firm and the wild cases and relationships that unfold.

Let me be 100% clear: This is strictly about Ally and not the actor Calista Flockhart. I loved Calista in Brothers & Sisters and The Birdcage, but her character here just doesn't do it for me.

In my opinion, she comes off as whiny, extremely insecure, and needy. If annoying was a person, it'd be Ally.

I've lost count of how many times I've rolled my eyes whenever she graced my screen.

I quickly found myself becoming more invested in the rest of the cast and their storylines rather than hers.
