Over the weekend, singer-songwriter Bebe Rexha noticed she was trending on TikTok...but for the wrong reason.
On Sunday, Bebe noticed "bebe rexha weight" was being commonly searched on TikTok after seeing it under a video of her singing. She shared a screenshot of it to Twitter.
"Seeing that search bar is so upsetting," Bebe wrote. "I'm not mad 'cause it's true. I did gain weight."
"But it just sucks. Thank you to all the people who love me no matter what."
The "I'm Good (Blue)" singer followed up that tweet with this message:
And although fans immediately came to her defense...
....
...Bebe admitted seeing that search bar was "discouraging."
But this isn't the first time Bebe had to address her weight. She previously called out fashion designers who refused to style her for the Grammys because they considered her "too big."
She also has a single coming out with Snoop Dogg this week and an album releasing at the end of the month! So, instead of finding ways to bring people down, let's focus more on how we can celebrate each other.
