What's The One Thing You Wish You Were Told Before You Had Kids?

When you're about to become a parent people give you a lot of advice, and it can be pretty overwhelming.

Of course, once you have kids you discover there are a lot of things no one told you that you really wish they had. Stuff like:

1. Trust your instincts!

If your gut tells you something, listen. You have a better idea of what you're doing than you realize.

2. You don't need nearly as much baby gear as it seems.

Start with the basics, then add stuff as needed. But you probably won't ever need most of the suggested items.

3. You will never go to the bathroom by yourself again.
