According to FOX 13 News, Flav was in town to visit his brother, who’s an athletic director at a Salt Lake City area high school.
Flav made a visit earlier this week to talk to students about the importance of staying in school. “There’s a lot of people that’s not going to be as lucky as I am,” he told the students. “You know, who don't have a diploma, and it’s real hard to get a job out here without a diploma. So, I just don't want to see them make the same mistakes I did and a lot of other people did."
