26 Products For People Who Are Way Turned On By Cleaning

Calling all neat freaks and cleaning fanatics. 完局

We hope you love the products we recommend! All of them were independently selected by our editors. Just so you know, BuzzFeed may collect a share of sales or other compensation from the links on this page if you decide to shop from them. Oh, and FYI prices are accurate and items in stock as of time of publication.

    1. Green Gobbler drain clog dissolver that'll unclog your pipes and liquefy built-up hair in mere minutes. A cleaning quickie, of sorts. 不

A reviewer's hand holds the bottle of clog dissolved. It has two openings at the top of ti closed with twist-off caps

The formula is nontoxic and odorless.

Promising review: "I had a stubborn toilet clog which neither my son nor I could clear with a plunger or a snake. I bought this product with hope...but ...skepticism. I used it the night I received it and when I flushed in the morning, nothing happened... until I got back to my bedroom and heard the water go down!! I like to use 'green' products that are effective. I'm sold on this one!" Leland Girl

Get it from Amazon for $11.97.

    2. Cleaning packets to insert into your garbage disposal to eliminate the odor it can get from all the food it knocks down for you.,

BTW, it's lemon-scented and the packets are biodegradable so they won't screw up the environment once they go down your drain and out into the sewage.

Promising review: "We moved into a townhouse that had a garbage disposal in the kitchen. I never had one growing up and didn't think too much about it until the funky smell started. I researched ways to clean it and came across these. I decided to order a four-pack and try them. THEY ARE LIFE-CHANGING. Just run some water, toss the packet in, and turn on the disposal. The little packet does all the hard work for you. I order a new set as soon as we start to run low." Lucas Brothers

Get them from Amazon for $10.93+ (available in multiple quantities).

    3. Dish-cleaning spray that'll have you looking forward to being on dish duty just to have some fun with its powerful instant foam.

    The spray bottle

It's supposed to clean grease five times faster than regular Dawn dish soap.

Peep what BuzzFeed editor, Elizabeth Lilly, has to say about hers:

"I live in an apartment without a dishwasher, and I honestly use that as an excuse to order takeout food instead of cooking. But, as soon as I got my hands on a bottle of this stuff (regular Dawn is my go-to dish soap, BTW), I put it to use on both a saucepan I used to make homemade enchilada sauce *and* the casserole dish I baked those enchiladas, which had a ton of caked-on food. It really does work like I say it does! Like, scary well."

Promising review: "It cleans so well that my dishes squeak! I'm really loving this! I feel like Im not wasting so much detergent. Plus, I love that I can squirt it directly into the plastic straws from my reusable travel cups!" Gma

Get it from Target for $6.09.

    4. An extendable, angular shower scrubber to help you hit every spot in your tub with no problem. I own this and it helps me clean my shower twice as fast.

It won't take up too much space in your bathroom and it'll also be super easy for you to clean the scrubber part. This thing will come in handy for anyone but it's especially a good option for anyone who has neck and/or back pains that prevent them from reaching certain spots in their shower.

Promising review: "I was concerned that this brush wouldn't be sturdy enough and that I would have to apply an insane amount of pressure to get it to clean properly. I was wrong. I have a huge step-up jetted tub. Cleaning in it and around the back, side, and top of it is a pain. I decided to give this product a chance and I'm glad I did. The sponge on the end is hard and not like a soft sink sponge you'd use for dishes. The handle extends a good distance and allows you to clean harder-to-reach areas. I use this in and around the tub, and in the walk-in shower. If you have a bad back (like me) or knees, I would give this product a try." Gino

Get it from Amazon for $13.99 and the scrubber refill for $10.10.

    5. An "Angry Mama" microwave cleaner that should really be called a "Happy Mama" because of how satisfied you'll be when it releases its steamy, cleaning solution that makes food and juices wipe off with ease.

The microwave cleaner is actually a small bottle shaped like a woman's shoulders and head. Her head has tiny holes where the cleaning concoction will spurt from to clean the microwave. It's sitting inside of a microwave.

Just add water and vinegar, and place this gadget inside for five to eight minutes. Afterward, the nasty splatters will wipe right off. Enforcing a "must use the Angry Mama" rule is also a great, fun, and memorable way to teach the entire household that they shouldn't forget to cover stuff in the microwave, but when they do, they had BETTER clean it up.

Promising review: "Amazing product! I received my Angry Mama Microwave Cleaner yesterday and used it this morning. This gal cleaned up my microwave so well that it looks brand new." Cindy M.

Get it from Amazon for $9.99+ (available in multiple colors and also in different sets).

    6. A dishwasher cleaner and disinfectant to snatch up all the rust, grease, and other nasty mess that likes to camp out in there. This way, your machine will actually clean your dishes properly the first time with no Round 2 involved.

It'll also kill salmonella and E. coli! Woot!

Promising review: "I started getting white streaks all over my dishes. That never happened before. I thought it was my detergent and changed it but saw no difference. I kept getting 'clean' dishes with this weird white film on them. I would wash them by hand then put them back in the dishwasher and white film again! Then, I did an internet search to figure out what was going on (a dishwasher is an incredibly simple piece of machinery.) Found this! Bought it. Used it. Dishes are clean again!" Carey Holzman

Get a pack of six tablets from Amazon for $5.99.

    7. Jetted tub cleaner that'll draw out all of the nasty goop hiding in your bathtub or Jacuzzi jets. Warning: You'll probably be beyond disgusted after you use this and see what crawls outta those jets. Sometimes things have to get a little nasty before they get better. 仄踱儭

It's meant to clean your tub in just 15 minutes. Just run the bath, pour the cleaner in, feast your eyes upon the gunk that slimes its way out, drain your bath, and then clean off all the icky-ness left behind. You can do this! I believe in you!

Promising review: "I have been very diligent about cleaning our Jacuzzi bathtub regularly with dishwasher soap since we installed it five years ago. Every time I cleaned it, I got a small amount of debris out of the jets. Over the last few years, I had noticed increasing problems with keeping the tub clean. A soap scum ring was forming within two days after cleaning the tub and I was getting green and orange deposits on the bottom of the tub after the water dried. Plus, the water started smelling bad making it very unpleasant to soak in the Jacuzzi. After searching Amazon, I purchased Oh Yuk. The amount of gunk that came out of the jets was truly appalling! It was an orange, sticky, mess. I think it might have been partially due to residue from waxing the tub every six months, but I'm not sure. Now, I clean my jets regularly with Oh Yuk. The tub stays cleaner and smells so much better! I was a little hesitant to try this product because I was afraid it might damage my acrylic tub. I emailed Oh Yuk and they got back to me immediately assuring me that the product is safe to use. It also has not harmed the bathtub finish or the pump seals in any way. I cannot recommend this product highly enough. Next, I want to try their washing machine cleaner." KW

Get it from Amazon for $16.99.

    8. Nontoxic plant-based glass cleaner to help you get your *wipe challenge* done with something that'll smell like Heaven, be good for the environment, and be safe to use around kids and pets.

the spray bottle in the scent "rosemary citrus"

The glass cleaner is free of harmful ingredients like parabens, synthetic fragrances, dyes, ammonia, and more. The bottle's also bio-degradable so when it's time to throw it away, it'll decompose properly without harming the earth or its animals.

Promising review: "This is now my go-to for window cleaning! No smearing and it smells really good. I bought it with the thought that it might leave behind smears so I'd use it on windows behind blinds but now I use it on everything. I was greatly surprised and I'm really happy with this product." Breezy

Get it from PUR HOME for $10 (available in two scents).

    9. A cleanser and polishing powder that'll completely erase all evidence of the wild time you've been giving your pots and pans.

And guess what else? Per the reviews, it really works on a ton of different things including bathroom surfaces and stainless steel kitchen sinks. The cleanser is nonabrasive, bleach-free, and effective on most surfaces in the kitchen, bathroom, and outdoors.

Promising review: "This is honestly the best cleaning product! I had an oil burn stain on the bottom of one of my favorite pans for months and this cleaner was able to get it out in five minutes!" Samantha Poulos

Get a two-pack from Amazon for $7.92+ (available in two sizes).

Check out our full review of the Bar Keeper's Friend Cleanser for more info!

    10. A magnetic chore chart to involve everyone in the house in all your cleaning fantasies. (Translation: Actually hold 'em accountable so you're not stuck doing all the work.)

A chart on a fridge along with an eraser and dry-erase markers lined up underneath it. The chart has a list of chores to be done and the week day they're due

It'll come with four bonus chalk markers so you write to your heart's content. Also, many reviewers shared that they used it to document kids' other responsibilities and their good or bad behavior.

Promising review: "They pretend to be hard of hearing. They may run and hide. They might just take after their father and be complacently lazy without a care for cleanliness or responsibility. No matter what the case may be for you, this magnetic chore chart has magically transformed my little hellions into Grade A worker bees who, through the power of reward and shame, are now pulling their weight around the house and achieving cleaner rooms, cleaner dishes, and a future of promise. Highly recommended." Rob Munch

Get it from Amazon for $19.99+ (available in two colors and sizes).

    11. Laundry detergent made just for your dark clothes so their color remains just as deep and bold as they were when you first bought 'em! (Seriously, say "no" to faded black jeans 踱儭 and all that jazz.)

the bottle with a twist-off top
    The Laundress

Here's what BuzzFeed editor, Elizabeth Lilly, has to share about her laundry experience with it:

"This stuff is the real deal! I live in a fifth-floor walk-up NYC apartment in a building without laundry, so I send out most of my stuff for wash and fold service... except if it's black. I hand wash all my tights, dresses, bras, and other stuff that I care A LOT about at home in my shower. That normally consists of me washing whatever said garment in a large mixing bowl (designated for laundry!) in my shower and letting it sit. When I wash my garments with this the water is MUCH lighter than when I use a regular detergent, which always leaves the water looking very gray and therefore my clothes robbed of black dye! Plus I can tell it's gentler on my clothes than whatever my fave laundromat uses. All around, totally worth the investment!"

Get it from Amazon for $20.50 (free shipping) or directly from The Laundress for $20.50.

    12. A wine-stain remover for anyone who's turned on by wine just as much OK, way more than cleaning. This'll come to your rescue anytime you have a spill so you get the best of both those worlds.

Per reviews, it'll also work on carpets, couches, pillows, and more!

Promising review: "I initially bought this to clean red wine out of fabrics that cannot be cleaned but did so with trepidation because I've tried other products that have only made things worse. Anyway, I didn't have to wait long to test out Wine Away's effectiveness as the first red wine spill happened a couple of weeks later on my wife's brand-new, super expensive runner which we weren't supposed to be drinking anywhere near and, of course, is brilliant white. At this point, I had already given up all hope of covering up my tracks but figured I might as well try Wine Away as my last-ditch 'maybe I won't have to sleep on the couch' effort. To my amazement, upon spraying Wine Away on the stain, it immediately cleared up and left no residue or dullness behind. Honestly, I even called my wife in, told her what happened, and had her search for where the stain was and she couldn't find it. Simply amazing stuff. I am now a believer in Wine Away and have used it on not only wine spills but also pet stains on various fabrics and it's always stepped up to the challenge." Derek

Get it from Amazon for $7.94.

    13. A mildew-resistant antimicrobial shower curtain liner to keep all the cooties away from your tub. Basically, it'll be a nearly invisible helping hand for keeping your bathroom clean.

Transparent shower curtain hanging in the bathroom

This liner has five magnets at the bottom to hold it in place in your shower, 12 rust-proof metal grommets, and a reinforced header. It's designed to be heavy-duty enough for use as a liner or as a single curtain. Also, holy moly , this thing has over 13,000 5-star reviews.

Promising review: "I have waited six months to write this review and my original liner looks as good as the day I hung it. It has no mildew or rust. The magnets have weight and stick well to the bath. So, I replaced the liner in my other bathroom with another one of these. Excellent value and quality." Homer's Mom

Get it from Amazon for $10.99 (available in three styles).

    14. Vegan disinfectant toilet tablets that'll remove the germs and buildup from your toilet bowl faster than you can say, "Ooh, they smell good" and they do smell good. 踢

small white tablets shaped like snowballs
    SiVi Tidy Co.

Just drop the tablets into your toilet bowl, let 'em sit for three to five minutes, wipe, then flush. Btw, these tablets are made by a vegan cleaning company based in Palm Beach, Florida. The brand will also donate a portion of whatever you buy to the charitable cause you choose out of the four available!

Promising review: "I just received my order and immediately used it. I have never in my life been so eager to clean a toilet. #Extremeadulting. It honestly works and as soon as you open the bag, it smells amazing. The bag comes with these wooden tongs so you can pick up the bombs without getting the residue on your fingers. My bathroom smells great and looks great. Excellent job and will definitely re-purchase. Aaliyaah S.

Get it from SiVi Tidy Co. for $8 (available in a 12-count bag and in two scents).

    15. Laundry stain remover to remove proof of even your (and maybe your kids') dirtiest deeds from the most impossible-looking clothes.

Promising review: "I'm always skeptical of these kinds of products but I went ahead and decided to give this stain remover a chance because I have clothes that have small grease spots from cooking that I never notice until after I've already washed them. I used this on those items (which have already gone through the dryer several times) as well as my trusty old 'period panties' that hide in the back of my drawer. I sprayed it on the stains pretty generously, let it sit for a few hours, and then washed everything as I usually do. When I took everything out of the dryer, the stains were gone! I have never seen such results from anything I've used before, including all of the big-name stain removers that claim to be the best. The next test is to try it out on my dishrags that I've been using for the last few months that all have stains I can't seem to wash out. This product will remain a staple in my laundry room forever!" Kerry

Get it from Amazon for $16.79.

    16. An automatic independent vacuum so your floors stay clean at all times no hands involved. It'll work via remote on carpets, tile, and hardwood floors. Plus, you can set a timer so it'll clean every day.

I watched this thing work in person (at my bestie's new house full of hardwood floors) and was pleasantly surprised to find that it really picks up even the tiniest floor particles and moves easily around (and under) furniture. It'll run on a 110-minute cycle with different cleaning modes and your preset vacuuming times. From what I've seen, it's also pretty good around pets too, although that will depend on your pets' temperament specifically. My bestie's hyper puppy was super chill about this vacuum, surprisingly.

Promising review: "This vacuum is so amazing! I bought it because after having a second baby, I barely have time to vacuum and I have a toddler who likes to roll around on the carpet. It gets extremely messy with his snacks so I needed to vacuum every day. This vacuum saved me so much time because now I dont need to vacuum and my toddler started to pick up his toys to clear the way for his new 'robot friend.' This vacuum actually picked up more dust than my original vacuum and it will dock itself when it needs to charge or when you are done with it. This is an amazing vacuum at a lower price!" Happy Mom

Get it from Amazon for $155.54 (originally $209.68 with free shipping and free returns).

    17. A cooktop cleaning kit to make your stove tops clean enough to want to French kiss but like... don't do that.. well unless you just really feel like you have to....

The kit comes with a 10-ounce bottle of Cerama Bryte Cooktop Cleaner, one cleaning pad, and one scraper.

Promising review: "I tried EVERYTHING for two years to get the ring of baked-on grime off of our stove top. Nothing worked. I figured Id give this product a go since the kit was just $10. ITS AMAZING. A little scrape with the razor and a few scrubs with the cleaner and pad. BOOM! Nasty rings around the burners are GONE!" OperaDiva

Get it from Amazon for $11.48+ (available in two kit options).

    18. Pan scrapers so you can clean up after cooking without having to put your back into it. The scrapers have four differently-shaped edges so you can lift caked-up food from any size pan with no probs.

Promising review: "These are the best little scrapers! I've messed up my iron skillets so many times before buying these! They're super easy to use, not pricey, and they do the job! It was even easy on my hands since it took me maybe two minutes to scrape everything, rinse, and dry. I had to scrape shepherd's pie (meat, cheese, gravy, and potatoes left overnight) off the pan. And if you've ever left gravy in something overnight, then you know how hard that can be to get off. But not with these bad boys!! Save yourself some time and save your pans! Your skillets will thank you!" Tyler

Get them from Amazon for $7.23 (available in a two-pack).

    19. Watermark-removing cloths to remove pesky rings from your wooden surfaces in quick yet satisfying swipes. Warning: You may be tempted to abandon your inner neat freak and set a glass down just to enjoy how well the wipes'll work afterward.

Promising review: "This removed the most stubborn watermark on earth! My desk had three very obvious rings from where hot mugs had been left unattended, and despite trying everything that was recommended online, nothing worked to reduce their appearance. This cloth must have some miracle oil in it because it removed the rings when nothing else would, and they haven't come back. Be sure to really rub the cloth over the watermark (it may take some time, but it's worth it!), and save the plastic bag that it comes in just in case you need it again." Trini

Get them from Amazon for $4.99.

    20. A pumice cleaning stone so you get hard-to-remove grime off your toilet bowl, tile floors, grills, sinks, and more. It'll almost look like you bought yourself a new home but nah, just this super affordable thing. (Plus, you'll do it all without getting your hands dirty thanks to that helpful handle.),

Reviewers especially loved it for getting hard water stains out of their toilets.

Promising review: "THIS IS THE BEST THING EVERRRRRR!! Our toilets are old and have hard water stains in them. I clean them (admittedly less than) religiously but I could never get the hard water stains off. So, I thought I would give this rock-on-a-stick a try before I ended up smashing all our toilets in frustration and embarrassment. My rock-on-a-stick arrived and, in the words of John Oliver, 'PRAISE BE.' THIS THING IS A MIRACLE-WORKER. It requires very little scrubbing and my dang toilets look brand spanking new! Seriously! I am thinking about inviting the Queen over for a nice tinkle because that is how clean my toilets are." Octomeggo

Get it from Amazon for $8.99 (also available in a pack of two).

    21. Silver polish wipes that'll make you change your mind about tossing out tarnished jewelry and silverware you thought was past its prime. Instead, you'll prob be inspired to go on a jewelry-cleaning spree just to spread the love. New hobby, anyone?

Promising review: "So happy with these wipes!! Have tried other jewelry cleaners, even with the little brush and I still had jewelry too dull to wear. Used these wipes (on silver AND costume jewelry) and the grime comes right off!! After a rinse and quick buff with a dry cloth, I have pretty jewelry again!!" Rockin4M

    Get a 20-pack from Amazon for $12.98.

    22. Mold and mildew remover gel to keep the hard-to-clean nooks and crannies in your home especially your bathroom clear of buildup and germs.

Just apply it, let it sit for six to eight hours, and then scrub away. It's meant to work on tiles, grout, sealants, tubs, sinks, showers, and more. Heads up: For more longstanding mildew buildup, several reviewers noted they had to do more than one treatment for the area but that they did still get results.

Promising review: "I love having a clean house. My shower has been something that seemed to never get clean enough no matter what I used on it. I have scrubbed and scrubbed this stain with so many other products. This is by far the BEST cleaner I have ever used. I got results after one use. I left it on the surface for six hours. I highly recommend this product." RaeB

Get it from Amazon for $12.99.

    23. Glass-cleaning wipes that so many reviewers say will clear up your glasses, tech screens, camera lenses, and more without leaving behind residue.,

Promising review: "These wipes work for us. We use them on our eyeglasses (that have anti-reflective coatings), phone screens, and computer monitor screens. A single wipe will do both of our glasses and both of our phones. And, there's no streaky residue like we have had in the past with other wipes." John S.

Get them from Amazon for $16.99 (comes in a box of 210 individually wrapped wipes).

    24. A FURemover squeegee broom to prevent pet hair (and um, maybe even your hair?) from piling up in your carpet. While a shedding pet is the focus, the squeegee design will even work with getting up water, dirt, and dust so you can clean whatever you want to your heart's desire (or until those arms get tired).

Promising review: "I really didnt expect this to work. Weve had short-haired cats for years and I had a rubber upholstery brush that never seemed to do anything. Well, we recently got a dog a black Great Pyrenees mix. There is fur everywhere. Our downstairs is all hard flooring with area rugs and I hate lugging my Shark vacuum every couple of days but just daily sweeping with a regular broom wasnt cutting it. I decided to take a chance on this broom and I am so happy I did. It takes some elbow grease but it gets the fur off the area rug in my living room... Not only is it great for getting the fur off rugs, but its also even better on the hard floors. My regular broom catches some of the hair (which I then have to clean off by hand) but much of it just swirls away in the breeze the sweeping creates. This broom actually collects even the tiny stray hairs and deposits them in the dust pile without me having to get my hands dirty (literally)." Sarah R.

Get it from Amazon for $14.99.

    25. Bottle Bright tablets that'll remove the bacteria, stains, and odors that are often left in water bottles and coffee tumblers so you can sip in peace.

Promising review: "I seriously can't believe how well these little tablets work. I had the most disgusting HydroFlask coffee mug--I tried everything. Bottle brush, different kinds of soap, vinegar, EVERYTHING, and there was still a seemingly impenetrable layer of black sludge inside. It grossed me out so much that I bought ANOTHER HydroFlask to replace it. Now eventually they both got black inside, so I tried these little magic tablets. I let a tablet sit in each of my mugs for an hour or two, and the black sludge rinsed out COMPLETELY, without even scrubbing. They look brand new. What a magical product. No weird smell or taste afterward, either. I liked it so much I used it on another HydroFlask I use primarily to hold my Bloody Mary mix in the fridge. I couldn't put anything else in it because it would always taste like spicy tomato juice. Bottle Bright to the rescue! No residual smell or taste anymore. AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING." Amazon Customer
Get it from Amazon for $8 (available in two quantities).

    26. A microfiber mop and hands-free wringing bucket set so you can clean your floors without burning out all the energy in your body and needing to pass out in bed afterward. The mop is designed to help you get into corners easily and wring it by just pressing your foot to a pedal on the bucket.

You can also remove the mop head and it's machine-washable but you might want to snag some back-ups (sold separately) so you can toss the dirty one into the washing machine, leave it for your laundry day, and still have your mop readily available. Btw, this baby has over 9,000 five-star reviews.

Promising review: "Okay, so ever since finding this mop on Amazon, I've been excited to try it. In a market of sub-par household cleaning devices, this thing ROCKS! I love this mop so much, I mopped my whole house twice in a row. This mop picks up everything off the floor. Even pebbles that can be left on the floor in corners and pet hair. This mop picks up everything! The wringer is PERFECT. I do a two step process where I first start by getting the floor sopping wet, then I go back through with the mop as dry as I can get it. My floors are completely dry in about 5 minutes. LOVE LOVE LOVE! Please buy this mop!" Dillon B.

Get it from Amazon for $29.97 and the mop refill for $6.19+ (available as a single and in other quantities).
