"Worst Man" Is The Name Of Pete Davidson's Next Film And It Sounds Very Good

    This has so much potential.

Pete Davidson is riding pretty high right now, with all of the praise that his latest film, The King of Staten Island, has earned. So it's the perfect moment to announce his next project and, honestly, it can't come soon enough.

Pete is teaming up with his Saturday Night Live buddy Colin Jost on a wedding comedy called "Worst Man." We can all guess who that refers to — actually, we'll have to for now since most of the details have yet to be revealed.

What we do know is that the film takes place around an upcoming wedding and is all about the "family dramatics" leading up to it, according to Deadline. There's not a director attached yet, but Jost pitched the idea alongside Matthew Bass and Theodore Bressman.

Jost would know a lot about weddings, considering the last we heard, he had an upcoming one with Scarlett Johansson. (Neither have given any information about when it's due to happen, or — at this point — if it already has.) Meanwhile, Pete Davidson has obviously been engaged before.

Fingers crossed this movie gets fast-tracked.
