Stephjs81, they meant because Molly Ringwald was popular in the 1980s, maybe people IN the 1980s started naming their kids Molly because of her. Nobody knew who she was in the 60s LOL
i think most of us would have looked at you the same way tbh. i’ve never once in my life had to show an ID at a gas station. in fact, most places just let people swipe their credit cards right at the pump so that’s actually a pretty stupid policy.
How did Fred and George Weasley know to say the words "I solemnly swear that I am up to no good." in order to read the Marauder's map when they found it the first time?? And how did they know to say "mischief managed" to close it?
lol some of these are so weird, like, we Americans could turn that around on you guys too. For instance, why can't you pronounce the letter "R", England? Last time I checked it's spelled ButtER not ButtUH. LOL
lol how else WOULD you pronounce Pantene besides Pan-teen??? Pan-teen is correct visually based on the way it's spelled. It's certainly not pahn-tin. lol
