I love having this tool in my home! I jumped on the plant family trend fast and have filled my home with tons of botanicals (that all have different watering schedules). The meter tells me if a plant is being over-watered or under-watered right down to the root, which is very necessary for a plant parent (who used to be a plant murderer) like myself. My home is going to be even greener in 2022.
Promising review: "This item is great. I can check how wet my plants are down where the roots are. So no more overwatering! It is very accurate. This works great!!" —Terri Carlson

Promising review: "I am loving my new safe storage for important documents. I now have a place to keep passports, my wedding license, car titles, mortgages, and wedding photos. If disaster happens I can have my mind at ease. I love that it has a fireproof zipper, a code lock design, and a strong handle that adds storage security and carrying safety." —Jenn A

Promising review: "I have a very heavy, large purse that is a bottomless pit. One time I put my purse on the back of my chair at a cafe and the whole chair flipped over, that is how heavy my bag is. I was looking for something so I could hook my purse on things so it wasn’t sitting on the floor and was more accessible. I love this little gadget. I have used it on everything from bathroom stalls to tables to grocery carts. This thing really grips. All of my girlfriends love it and have gotten it for themselves." —Jennifer

I use this in my kitchen! I have to admit...it hasn't exaaactly helped with organization. What it *has* done is created a neat and orderly spot for my utensils...opening up a ton of extra drawer space for my unruly stash of pens, bouillon cubes, drink flavor packets, and the like. Long story short — I recommend this for tidy and messy folks alike!
Promising review: "We were short on storage and drawer space and this worked perfectly for our tiny drawer!" —Angela McMichael

Promising review: "Of all the wooden hangers available these are the ONLY ones with a metal loop so that you can stack your clothes in your closet vertically while hanging – this prevents clutter and allows me to hang similar clothing vertically, making things much easier to access. These hangers are strong and last." —DeAnne

Promising review: "This cup is fantastic for my toddler. I love that the straw is built in. It’s super easy to clean. The material is great, easy to hold, and my toddler is able to grip onto it well. We have had a couple drops and the liquid did not spill. I also love the neutral colors. I will be buying more products!" —Jordana

These also work great with hot foods, i.e. they won't get too hot when hanging out in a steaming bowl of broth.
Promising review: "This is a quality set of chopsticks! The fiberglass is heavier than standard wood ones (obviously), but they are still easy to use. They don't feel that heavy in the hand. The tips are textured slightly for a better grip on food; this is really great with noodles. The top has a pretty design. I haven't had them very long, but they seem durable and relatively scratch resistant. They clean easily with soap and warm water (they're also dishwasher-friendly). I was looking for an affordable, re-useable set and originally considering stainless steel ones. But based on a number of reviews stating that the material on some wasn't true stainless steel, or they're too heavy, or they get too hot if left in a bowl, I ultimately went with this set. I'm very glad I did!" —nhcabin

Promising review: "This really helps!!! I've been biting my nails to the nub for 24 years. I have nails now and I don't bite anymore; that's all I wanted. This product made that happen. It taste SO bad, I never realized how much I subconsciously put my hands in my mouth until I used this. However, I figured I should warn you/give you guys a heads up, be prepared to taste this on ANY AND ALL foods you have to eat with your hands. To me, that was a small sacrifice I was DEFINITELY willing to make to get my nails to this point. I don't even need to use it anymore because now I'm more aware of my nails. All in all, I HIGHLY recommend this product." —Kelsey Walton

We've got a write up all about why this is perfect for egg-passionate foodies!
Promising review: "It's convenient, compact, and time saving; this kitchen gadget is a game changer! Prep takes 30–45 seconds to fill the appropriate water level, poke the eggs, and place in tray. Three eggs take about seven minutes, six eggs takes about 11–12 minutes. Once these puppies are cooked and cooled off, it is a breeze peeling and prepping. I used to hate making hard boiled eggs specifically because I'd have to peel them and lose one-quarter of the egg with the shell; thankfully none of that is the case with this device. I'm so glad I stumbled on it while browsing Amazon. I definitely recommend getting this product, you will not regret it!" —RebeccaLMK

One of my BuzzFeed coworkers wrote a review about how this clock is basically like giving the gift of sleep to parents with young children.
Promising review: "We've had this clock for four years and it's still going strong. You can adjust the amount of time the green light stays on. You MUST wait until the green light comes on to enter the room or it won't work! If your child comes out before it's on, take them back to bed and walk out. We get them used to it (now with child #3, 9 months old) by telling them before closing the door at night 'Wait for your green alien to wake up!' It's a good last minute reminder. The only thing I'd change is that the dimmest light setting is still a bit bright for my light sleepers, so I have to lay a burp rag or something over the back to make it dimmer. I'm considering buying a second so the older kids can have theirs back!" —Lauren

Promising review: "I bought this broom based on the tons of great reviews and I am not disappointed. I love this broom! It is lightweight but sturdy. I have used it on tile floors and carpet and it does a great job of getting the pet hair, lint, and dirt. I like this so much better than our traditional push broom. It is very easy to clean after use just using my hand, unlike our old broom. It also has a telescoping handle so that you can adjust it to whatever height you need. There is also a squeegee for doing the house windows and the car windows. I highly recommend it." —Joyce V

I am rather certain that there is more Jot than blood in me by this point. After discovering how delicious this stuff is (both the classic and the new Dark flavors) I totally dropped my expensive café habits and have stuck to this for my daily cup of coffee. It has a rich taste, is wildly easy to make (just pour a tablespoon into 8 ounces of your favorite base), and the SEXY bottle even makes the inside of my fridge look nice.
Get it from Jot for $24.
Promising review: "This stuff is AMAZING! I was a little skeptical because I have some carpet stains I’ve let sit for a while because I didn’t have any cleaner at the time of the accident. The accidents have included coffee spills and poorly cleaned cat barf stains. I ordered this because I didn’t want to spend the money on a carpet cleaning service plus you have to be out of your house too long. This stuff was INCREDIBLE. You just spray a concentrated amount and then scrub the stain away. It worked in every single stain I had and was super quick and easy. 100% recommend if you need a good spot cleaner!" —Kimberly

I cook with a shocking amount of garlic and I always hated dealing with my old garlic press. This one-piece solution is SO much better than the old school tool! You simply place your peeled garlic under and rock at an angle, it minces just the same. This also comes with a (TBH very cute) scraper *and* a silicone sleeve that'll help you peel your cloves in an instant.
Promising review: "I like garlic very much, so I use this garlic press every day. It works very well, is easy to use, and easy to clean. Compared with the garlic press I used before, this is more labor-saving and comfortable." —Jessica

My colleague John Mihaly swears by his Baby Brezza. In his own words:
"Listen, listen, listen. Without hyperbole, the Baby Brezza has been one of my best investments for year one in babyland. Late-night feeds no longer become about fumbling, spilling, mixing, warming, and minutes later delivering a so-so bottle to a crying child. No, in seconds a measured and warm concoction is in hand and then in baby's mouth. Just add water to the tank and formula to the dispenser and serve bottles ranging between 2–10 ounces warmed to three different temperatures. The time, effort, and stress this wonderful machine has saved me from is emotionally immeasurable and worth the price tag. It even forces you to clean it after every four uses because that formula gets gunky and you get lazy."

Promising review: "I love this! We didn’t have a good place to make a hole in the wall to our backyard but we do have low windows next to our fireplace, so it was a match to get this window door. It was super easy to install and we love the locking feature. We got a snow storm and it took a while for our garden beds to stop being muddy. We locked the door so kitty wouldn’t bring in mud. I will say it is a bit drafty, so we got an extra weather strip to secure the draftiness. Our kitty only took a couple of days to get used to it too. We put his food just outside the window and he had to get used to going out there to get his food. All in all it was a great buy!" —AlyHowell

Promising review: "I love the finish on the bottle! I hate holding wet water bottles and this does NOT sweat! It also holds two full bottles of 16.9-oz. packages water bottles so it’s very easy to get my full water intake on the go! Easy to carry, fits in my car's cup holders perfectly (not big at all like some water bottles). I got the ombré purple to teal and it’s very true to color. Easy to clean, wide enough for bottle brushes, and the straw stays put. I also love how I just push the little button by the mouthpiece and it just pops open quick for easy drinking (if you’re driving and don’t need to be messing around opening bottles😉). Highly recommend this water bottle. For the price, it’s amazing! Keeps my water cool for hours too." —Alicia

Promising review: "When I bought this I was really skeptical. I am grossed out by my hairbrush and clean it all the time. I've soaked it in vinegar and tea tree oil, used a toothbrush, scrubbed it with shampoo, picked it clean by hand — everything you can think of. Still, it's so hard to get the little lint that forms at the base of the brush — they don't dissolve off and you have to pick them off the bristles one by one because a toothbrush won't even break them up. This thing works amazingly. I don't know why, it just does — the particular texture of the bristles on this really grabs everything. It scraped the little lint rings right off and now my brush is cleaner, 10 times as fast." —HeartsofHavoc

Promising review: "I bought these for my mom's car and mine a while ago and these little things are great. Since I got my license I've hated merging or switching lanes; I never felt good or safe doing it. Since having these its been a blessing, I feel less like a scared new driver. I'm currently encouraging my sister and friends to invest in these too! These are also great for backing up, because you can see exactly how close you are to hitting the car behind, and it's helpful when I parallel park in the city." —Mariam Abass

This chair is SO GREAT. I got it after worrying about how often I was slouching during work. The adjustments make it easy to use while sitting or mostly standing (I use both daily) and it really does keep my posture in check. The best benefit for me has been the increased focus — the movement is great when spending so much time at my desk.
Promising review: "Simple. I stand or sit on command, which helps my back. Thanks to this chair, I've even increased sales. How, you ask? Before I had this I would walk away and not get work done; now I alternate positions and get lots more done. TA-DA!" —Louis

My husband and I have houseguests constantly and I know that gets taxing on our kittos. I spray this whenever I think they could be in a stressful situation and they'll instantly notice the sprayed spot, hop in, and start to purr. I also spray this on their sweaters when it's particularly cold (both are hairless) and they happily get dressed, which is definitely not the norm without this stuff. This is a staple in our home.
Promising review: "I am a certified veterinary technician working for a small animal clinic. I was very excited to see how our cat patients reacted to this new product, bSerene Calming Spray, at my clinic! I sprayed it on towels and the entire exam room before the patients entered. I noticed differences immediately — the cat patients looked relaxed, even one of our grumpiest ones. Also, they looked more engaged with what was going on in the rooms. I certainly recommend this product!" —jyamazon

Promising review: "This is a simple concept, but something that you would not normally think you need. After losing a few toys off the side of the stroller, I felt there had to be a way to keep toys and bottles from falling over the edge. I found these and took a shot at ordering them. The straps come with snaps at differing lengths to accommodate anything from Sophie the Giraffe all the way to our large Tommee Tippee bottles. I have not lost a toy since getting these nor has a bottle fallen on the ground. The strap dries out easily when she may have some excess 'droolage.' I think I might start giving these as a shower gift." —Kay

These have saved many a bowl of leftovers in my place. I don't have space for lot of containers, so I was constantly using plastic wrap or plastic bags when I wanted to save food. It was an awful waste. These saved the day! They pack flat and the sizes fit on any container (even if I just leave my leftovers in the bowl I ate dinner in). I'm a sucker for this stuff.
Promising review: "These are super cute. I love the colors and they work great. The array of sizes they came in is also very handy. In fact, these are so much cuter than the other options available online that my friends decided to get the same set. If you took the time to google other silicone lids your eyes will burn. For my purposes these are perfect. Highly recommend." —DemiChang
