    A reviewer with glowing skin

Reviewers say it's similar to the Drunk Elephant bronzing drops!

Promising review: "Best find this year!! Moisturizing tint with a subtle glow is a perfect first layer for full makeup days or the only foundation needed for light days. I love the rest of the Lumi products as well." —Kelly Burich Kennedy

Promising review: "I’ve been using this product for seven months and I’ve been complimented almost weekly about how I get my skin to look so dewy and glowy. 2. Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream, a cult-favorite body cream you're going to want to slather all over your body, thanks to the deep hydration (cupuaçu butter, coconut oil, and açai oil!) and temporary skin-tightening (caffeine!) it provides, plus a fragrance with notes of salted caramel and vanilla that reviewers L O V E.

Promising review: "OBSESSED. I can't say enough great things about this lotion. Don't hesitate, just buy." —Summer

Promising review: "Where has this been all my life? I have been using this for maybe three days now, and putting it on in the morning and evening are the best parts of my day. The description of the scent as "pistachio, salted caramel, and vanilla" does not even begin to describe the incredibly decadent smell of this cream on my skin. My skin feels like velvet and I saw improvements in the texture after the first application. I will use it for the rest of my life. Do not ever discontinue this! I did not expect to be so amazed my this cream, but it is life changing. Buy it! You won't regret it." —Michelle Brown

Promising review: "Best product I've discovered in years. Cut my getting ready time in half." —Sequoia Burge

Promising review: "This stuff is amazing! Goes on just like an eyeliner but holds the lashes all day. I clean houses and I sweat and I put my lashes on at 8:30am and at 11:45 p.m., they were still glued on really well. I would say use some oil free makeup remover on a Q-tip and run it over the band of the lashes before removing because 14 hours later they will still be glued on really well. But doing that they came off easily. Best money I ever spent." —Shannon alaniz

Get the liner from Amazon for $7.18.

Promising review: "I absolutely LOVE these lashes!!! I used to get professional eyelash extensions but due to my work environment in a kitchen/ restaurant they were difficult to maintain so I started experimenting with lashes at home. I have tried all the other top lash cluster brands and Lilac street is #1!!! So easy to apply, remove band is is so nice and thin, flexible length and curl — perfect. Look like extensions!!!! Literally take five minutes to apply and last sooo good!!!!! Please try these! I use Volume 12 so lightweight and comfortable!!!!!" —Jennifer M.

I loooove this essence for whenever I need an added boost of hydration. It absorbs into the skin beautifully!

Promising review: "This product is everything everyone says it is and more. If I could recommend one product that is the key to glass skin, it would be this. It gives an immediate glow, and makes the skin look so supple and healthy. The texture wasn't off-puting for me, but it is a bit slimy and stringy when you first pump out the product. It absorbs pretty quickly and doesn't leave a sticky residue, and it is unscented. Can't say enough good things about this product and the brand. You need this product in your life!" —Sarah Deeb

It’s on the pricier side, but worth the investment because of just how much easier it is to style hair after each use — any knots melt away, leaving me with shinier, fluffier hair that is pillow-soft to the touch." —slamarr

Promising review: “I love it. It makes my hair feel smooth and looks healthy. I have very fine hair, which is prone to split ends and gets greasy easily. Promising review: "I have used so many products before and this is the best so far! I even got a whitening kit from my dentist which is supposed to be very effective but it only burned my gums and the whitening wasn’t as fast as this product. I bought this just because it was not expensive and had good reviews but didn’t have any hopes it would work because it was a lot more affordable than the doctor’s kit that cost me hundreds of dollars. It is very easy to use. It actually works even after first application. It doesn’t burn gums. It doesn’t make your teeth sensitive." —Melinda

Promising review: "The lip oil trend has fully saturated my TikTok feed. So I was anxious to test and compare. I also own the Dior Lip Oil and tbh NYX is giving them a run for their money. This lip oil does its job for a fraction of the price. The formula isn't as thick as the Dior product but, the color options and leak proof packing make up for it. I'd definitely recommend picking this up to try!" —Courtney Calestiini

Promising review: "BEST PURCHASE OF MY LIFE. I’m SO excited about these mitts. I have KP on my arms and legs, so exfoliating is extra important for me. I also tend to need to exfoliate more often than the average person, but I never feel like any scrub or brush does enough. These are PERFECT. I followed all of the instructions and the dead skin was just rolling right off, and it felt so nice! I swear this is the cleanest I’ve felt in my entire life, and after only one use my skin is more glowy and smooth than it’s been in years. I don’t think I can live without these now." —bun

Promising review: "I'll be honest; I thought this would be another thing I saw on Amazon via TikTok that was way overhyped. I have dry skin, and despite using lotions, oils, and gentle body washes, I'm an ashy mess. This thing is incredible. I don't think I've ever been this exfoliated in my life! Not a single flake or scaly patch in sight. 1,000/10." —Ruth Bromberg

Get it from Amazon for $7.99+ (available with one or two mittens).

BuzzFeed Shopping writer Emma Lord says, "I'm a Glossier Cloud Paint stan so I'll continue to buy it, but I love this affordable alternative, too! It spreads on super easily and can either go on sheer or build for a bolder effect. I got the Rose Flush shade and enjoy it for ~everyday wear~ since it's so easy to squirt a bit on my fingers, swirl it into my cheeks, and be on my merry way. It lasts all day and looks super natural to boot!"

Promising review: "Throw all your other blushes away. This one is creamy, not greasy, takes just a dab and lasts all day. What more could you want? The only thing that would make it better is if it were free or they sold in like beer in the six-pack. Knowing makeup companies like I do I will order several more because they will soon discontinue the BEST blush ever made regardless of how well it sells. Am I not right? Clinique had an excellent crème blush similar to this one for YEARS and then one day....POOF!! GONE!!! So try it and then buy some extras 'cause you know tomorrow it'll be gone." —Velma Martin

The editor lips, chapped before use, and healed after use
    BuzzFeed / Natalie Brown

Here's why BuzzFeed Shopping editor Natalie Brown loves it: "After truly years of trying all kinds of different lip balms to varying degrees of success, I've finally found the only balm that actually leaves my lips softer and more hydrated every time I use it, even after it rubs off: Lanolips. Before I found it, I suffered from chronically dry lips, thanks to an anxiety-induced lip-licking habit I have yet to break, prescription tretinoin I use daily for acne (not directly on my lips, obvs, but it's just that drying), and a medication I take that just happens to be incredibly dehydrating. (Just peep the pic above! And that's not even really 'before' — it's just when I stopped using Lanolips for four straight days, then two days after I started wearing it again.) The very *first* time I applied Lanolips, it made SUCH a difference through the rest of the evening that I couldn't stop rubbing my lips together and lightly patting them with my fingers! Now, I apply a tiny amount about three times a day and haven't suffered from chapped lips since. A little goes a very long way, and it's kind of goopy and sticky to apply, but I don't care one bit. When it wears off (or soaks in? I think it does a little of both) a little bit later, my lips are still super soft, healthy-looking, and don't hurt or crack when I smile!"

Get the unscented, unflavored Original 101 Superbal from Amazon for $16.95, or get Lanolips Rose Gold 101 Lip & Cheek Tint from Amazon for $17 (available in three shades).

    17. CeraVe Retinol Serum that lives up to the CeraVe name and uses *encapsulated* retinol to reduce the appearance of scars and pores without flaking or redness. If you haven't gotten into retinoids yet or are worried about irritating your skin, this gentle but effective serum is a great option — and reviewers say they like it better than other more expensive options (like Murad's Retinol Serum, which retails for $92).

And remember, like with any retinol (that actually works) *just do not use it every day.* Start slow and work yourself up if needed, paying attention to your skin.

Promising review: "I bought this for my teenager to use for his acne scars, but he ended up not using it. I ran out of my Murad retinol serum, so I gave this a try. I actually like it better than the Murad! It absorbs quickly, with zero smell or irritation. As with any retinol product, be sure to wear sunscreen when you're going to be outside." —C. Munsterman

Promising review: "I’ve tried a few dry shampoos, from the spray in a bottle to powder. And I’d have to say this one has been my favorite. My very first time using it, I didn’t know how much to put and ended up coating my hair by A LOT. It left my hair feeling very dry and straw-like. I almost returned and got a refund but decided to give it another chance. A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY. Trust me. You only need a few dabs on your head and that’s it. You can see the extra volume almost instantly. This stuff works sooo well that I wake up on my third unwashed hair day and it looks better than the second day when I used the dry shampoo. And let’s not forget to mention how convenient and compact the whole thing is. It’s so nice to just pat it on your head with no mess." —Thuy

I got this because I’ve been breaking out and I’ve been trying to find something to calm my skin down. The first night I used this my skin improved!! Redness/bumps reduced, my skin was soft. I have very sensitive, oily, acne prone skin and this did not irritate my face at all. I wake up and my skin is soooo soft. My skin texture has drastically changed in just a week. When I first started using it, my acne did get worse for about a month, and then magically one day, my skin looked amazing. It's worth a try for sure!" —Britt

Promising review: "I have literally [had] acne since I was in fourth grade. Often I'd get really deep painful cystic acne which left terrible scars, but other times, I'd get tons of smaller pimples that left their mark long after the pimple was gone. It was nonstop, and I tried nearly everything. I’ve had one blemish appear in the five months since I started Differin, and amazingly, it was gone in a day, and didn’t leave a scar!! FYI, I have sensitive, combination skin that likes to alternate between being brittle dry and baby oil slick." —Angelique

Promising review: "I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!!! I found it on TikTok and OMG!! It works so well. I don't have to sit there and rub the crap out of my eyelashes to get the waterproof mascara off. I will admit, it doesn't take 100% of the makeup off but about 95% of my makeup comes off. It is not water-resistant, as emulsifying it with water helps take the makeup off. I have not found a better makeup remover, and yes, that includes micellar water (which also works well but leaves my skin feeling oily). With this cleansing balm, my face feels hydrated and smooth. Promising review: My wife probably contributes 500 million a year to the multi-billion dollar face crap industry. She buys a bottle, uses it half-way and buys another bottle of something different. Our porch looks like a Nordstrom's make-up department daily with all the packages we receive. I used this stuff as I do all the face cleaners she buys, and it is absolutely amazing. I do not have acne, but I do get break-outs and this stuff stops it right in it's tracks. I can have a zit in full morph, clean my face with this stuff at night, and when I wake up it's gone. I can honestly say that we are on our third bottle and she agrees. This is the first time in eight years she has bought two bottles of the same product, much less the third. And it's a third of the price of most the stuff she buys. Now I may be able to buy a boat in the near future." —Cory T.

Promising review: "I wasn't sure if this would work at first because the texture is like body lotion, but after a couple of days I could really see the difference both in terms of hydration and acne! It’s such a great face wash! I have struggled with my acne for years and have tried a billion different products and none of them worked like this one. My face looked flawless just two weeks after I used this. I don't do a lot of reviews but I’m glad I bought this and I'm writing this review after having bought it for the third time. Trust me, this is a really good product." —RONGHUI XIE

Promising review: "I've been looking for years for something to get me through bad rosacea flareups — the kind where your eyes swell and your skin gets flaky for days. This is it. So calming, nourishing. No irritating ingredients. Every Klairs product I've used is super gentle. Won't use anything else ever. Believe I've tried everything from Cerave to La Mer. Nothing works better for me." —Bizzybee

Promising review: "I've finished my first jar and it's HG status for me now. I decided on a whim to get this moisturizer and try something new. My skin is combination and has a bit of redness due to overuse of active ingredients on my skin and some rosacea. I put this on at night and bam - when I woke up in the morning, the usual redness that was on my face was gone. I was blown away. I have never had such clear and even-toned skin. This is a keeper. I'm recommending to my friends. I just wish it came in a larger jar." —Amazon Customer

Promising review: "I would use hair spray to hold my eyebrows and throughout the day I would sweat through it and it wouldn’t last. I tried this because the price was great and I’m glad i did. This product is awesome. I’ve had it on my brows for a nine-hour shift and they are still in place! It doesn’t dry and get flakey, nor does it feel uncomfortable on the skin. Lastly, I use brow powder and this does NOT affect the look of the powder nor does it smudge it. I will FOREVER buy this product." —Shelby

Promising review: "I have suddenly and inexplicably developed an allergy to fragrance. It is super annoying and I was itchy and bumpy; especially on my face, until I figured out my fragrance full products were likely the culprit. I have Vanicream EVERYTHING at this point. Body wash, lotion, face wash, sunscreen and this moisturizing lotion. All of it is great! I live in Colorado and this heavier moisturizing cream keeps my skin from, well, falling off! It is so dry here! I use the lighter lotion on my face and it is delightful too. If you have super sensitive skin this just might be something that works for you too!" —Adrienne

For whatever reason, my makeup has not been staying on my face and would pill or look horrible when I’ve changed nothing about my routine. However, my nose has never felt so clean and smooth for consecutive days. If you have oily skin I definitely recommend washing your face first and apply it to the nose before moisturizing the rest of your face. If I could give this 10 stars I would. Promising review: "I've used Hanacure for a while but they are so expensive. I just can't bring myself to buy them anymore. I ran across these and was so excited to try them! It does have a funky smell (reminds me of perm solution) but they worked excellent. My skin was very soft afterwards, and my pores looked way smaller. I see absolutely no difference in the effects of this mask and Hanacure. The only difference is the huge price tag Hanacure carries. Definitely worth the money!" —K. Bell

    35. Stila's Stay All Day liquid eyeliner with a smudge-free felt tip that makes creating the perfect cat eye simpler than ever with a long-lasting formula that doesn't bleed, crack, or budge (as the name suggests) alllllll day.

Promising review: "Stila is the absolute best liquid eyeliner I have ever tried. It doesn't fade, or crack and stays on through sleeping, or tears. Very very smudge proof and it does not flake AT ALL. It dries quickly and even though it is waterproof (as long as you don't touch it excessively) it stays. It's also easy to clean off at the end of the day. No hard scrubbing to get it off, makeup wipes will take it off easily. It's amazing for creating perfect wings, or drawing artfully for Halloween. It's perfect for everyday from subtle looks, to more creative and wild. I usually use black eyeliner, so I decided to get a more expensive, higher end brand, popular eyeliner. I most was not disappointed. I can use this eyeliner for months at a time (at least doing wings every day or so) without having to repurchase because it has dried out or was empty. Just shake before using each time, and it should last for several months, (2-5) depending on the usage daily and if it is stored/used properly." —Chick

Promising review: "I've been very careful when lightening my hair, but the straw feeling is sometimes inevitable when bleached. THIS PRODUCT IS MAGIC. I've always gone to my hairdresser when coloring so I've been fortunate to have my hair stay pretty nice but this made a world of a difference. My hair is like silk, or soft butter. So incredibly soft and shiny, I feel like a walking hair commercial. My hair feels so moisturized and healthy, just as soft if not softer than my hair was prior to coloring (been highlighting for five years now). Will be buying more before I run out, I will never stop using this product. FYI my natural color is the dark brown at the roots and my hair looks healthier than a natural blonde IMO :) ADD TO YOUR CART YOU WONT REGRET. After you shampoo, load your hair up and do the rest of your shower, heck have it be a long shower bc you deserve it, and rinse out with lukewarm water." —Meghan Davey

Promising review: "I have 4C hair and was looking for a protein treatment for my thin and fragile. I had recently used a product in my hair that had so much alcohol in it; that wreaked havoc on my hair, leaving it pretty damaged. I was very skeptical about this product because I have never seen anyone with my hair type use it. Boy was I wrong to doubt this product, it left my hair looking and feeling beautiful. I highly recommend it to anyone natural or with curly hair." —Therese-Claire

Promising review: "As many folks have said, have all the things you need (gloves, phone, shower head, etc.) at hand when you apply this freaking miracle. I have heels like a busted can of biscuits, and I don't have much faith in any product. Any trip to the salon is basically worthless for my calluses. So I soaked my feet and dried them. Applied the gel and waited. Rinsed and started using my rasp. I have NEVER seen so much skin come off. And it just kept coming. I rinsed and put lotion on, then slept in thick socks. 51. Paula's Choice 2% BHA liquid exfoliant (all of your favorite skincare TikTokers swear by it) that'll unclog pores, banishe dead skin cells, and even out skin tone. It even works on my very allergy-prone sensitive skin. A whopping 70 reviewers used the word "miracle."

I use this exfoliator a few times a week (I follow a skin cycling routine) and I'm in loooove. The formula isn't too hard with my sensitive skin (and I've been known to over-react to other anti-acne products with salicylic acid in them) but it helps keep my skin soft, clear, and glowy. It's the only product that has *ever* kept the pores on my nose noncongested. Put away the harsh blackhead strips and try this instead!

Promising review: "Best purchase ever! I bought this item when I ran out of the very expensive toner I generally use. Boy, have I been wasting money. This lotion is magnificent!!! I decided to use it as a toner and I am so happy I made that decision. This is the best toner I have ever used! It leaves my skin smooth, looking radiant, and youthful. And although I rarely ever have problems with my skin; with this product, I never will have problems. Run, don't walk to get this item." —Michel-Ange Chevry

Promising review: "This stuff should be called a miracle in a bottle. When I use it on my (pretty dry) skin, it transforms it from congested, irritated, and bright red to calm, clear, and glowing overnight. Most of the people reviewing this are using it incorrectly. It's an acid exfoliator. That means you should use it once a week, twice at the most (if your skin is oily and needs a lot of work.) Also, it should never be used during the daytime. BHA, or salicylic acid, interacts terribly with the sun. If you absolutely must put it on in the morning, follow it up with heavy SPF, but I wouldn't do it. This stuff is like anything else — it only works if you know how to do it properly." —Audrey Brock

Promising review: "Excellent brush. I bought it because my shoulder was hurt and I couldn't use the regular hair dryer because I had to use both hands. The best purchase I've ever made." —Luz Erika

Promising review: "I never write product reviews, but this brush is amazing! I have curly/wavy hair that is past my shoulders, but very fine. If I don't blow dry and straighten it right away it gets very curly and frizzy and has always been a pain to blow-dry and flat iron. I have never been very good at blow-drying with a round brush and have always relied on the flat iron to get my hair smooth after drying. With this brush, I can let my hair air dry for a bit, and then use this, and I don't need to use the flat iron at all. My hair looks so full and bouncy that several people have asked me if I just got my hair done. Honestly, with this brush, it looks better than when my hairdresser blow dries! It is so easy to use and takes way less time to do than blow drying. I haven't tried from wet wet, but today I only let it dry a bit and then used the brush and it was still fast. My only complaint is that the handle is a little big and hard to hold on to, but that is fairly minor. Also, I was worried about it getting tangled in my hair, but so far I have been able to wrap my hair around the brush and not have any issues getting the brush out. I love it!" —Bostonchick

Will definitely be buying again!" —Strickley Sara

Promising review: "After using Lights, Camera, Lashes by Tarte ($23) for the past year, I got tired of breaking the bank over mascara. My sister suggested Essence Lash Princess False Lash Effect and I IMMEDIATELY fell in love. It provides dramatic length and great volume. I can honestly say I can’t stop looking at my eyelashes in the mirror every single day because of how awesome they look. Also, it is very long wearing. I go from an eight-hour work day right to the gym and sweat...and this stuff doesn’t budge! I love it!!" —Carrie E. Miller
