It's back-to-school season, which means that students all over the country are probably getting long lists of required reading assignments full of classic novels.
I recently asked members of the BuzzFeed Community to share the books they absolutely hated reading in school. In the comments for each of those posts, there were tons of people fighting back and demanding justice for classic novels they actually loved reading in English class.
So to settle this debate once and for all, I pulled some of the most controversial titles to see if you think they're actually worthy of being called a classic or they're simply overrated.
