Elena's magical coma was the best thing to happen to her and the series.

Bonnie and Damon would've been a power couple because they always had great chemistry.

Damon Salvatore was the real villain of _The Vampire Diaries_ — he did far too many inexcusable things throughout the series and shouldn't have been allowed to redeem himself.

Elena and Elijah were actually perfect for each other — he was able to provide the loyalty and steadiness Elena needed in a partner.

Damon and Elena weren't even a good couple, whenever they were together they lost sight of everything that was important.

Matt was an okay character during the first few seasons, but as the show progressed, he became practially unbearable.

Katherine was great at the beginning of the show, but over time she became repetitive and kinda wore out her welcome.

Bonnie and Enzo were a much more epic couple than Elena and Damon ever were.

Stefan was just as bad a person as Damon. He shouldn't get a pass for his wrongdoings just because he ~felt bad~.

Stefan and Caroline only became a couple because neither of them had anyone else to be with.

Jeremy was a super unnecessary character to have in the series — his whole storyline was about him being an angsty teen and Bonnie's boyfriend.

Bonnie Bennett carried all eight seasons of _The Vampire Diaries_, and nobody on that show deserved someone as great as her.

Klaus and Caroline's "relationship" was based merely on sexual chemistry, not romance, and it was good they never ended up together.

_The Originals_ was a much better show than _The Vampire Diaries_ — the storylines, characters, and actors were far superior.

Finally, Stefan Salvatore added nothing to the series. He was just whiny and boring.
