Welcome to your weekly recap of Vanderpump Rules. Now we’re on Season 10, Episode 10 — and things are really starting to get juicy, considering things are heating up between cast members on screen and fans now know that, behind the scenes, Sandoval and Raquel were already hooking up in real life.
Let the fun begin!
At the beginning of the episode, Schwartz and Raquel pick up where they left off — making out some more. After a crowd of people cheered for their first kiss, they moved to a more private location to keep making out.
“I feel giddy, I feel happy, I feel excited,” Raquel says in her interview. “I feel like maybe this could be something.”
Katie is not happy when she finds out about the kiss between Schwartz and Raquel. She’s in Lala’s hotel room with Kristina, James, and Ally when Scheana calls Lala and delivers the news. James doesn’t seem too happy either.
“I feel like someone has punched me in the gut and and kicked me in the face,” Katie says in her interview. “The people cheering Tom and Raquel on, not one of those people care about me.”
A sad Katie goes back to her room with Kristina. Lala says to James, “I’m telling you right now, your ex-fiancé is a fucking whore.”
The crew who was at Scheana and Brock’s welcome party goes back to their room to keep hanging out. Sandoval, Raquel, Ariana, and Scheana are all sitting together when Sandoval repeats, “Raquel, Raquel!”
An annoyed Ariana says, “Tom, stop. You’re acting weird.”
“What? I’m not acting anything,” Sandoval says. “Why are you saying, ‘Raquel, Raquel, Raquel?’” Ariana asks. “Because she made out with Schwartz.”
Then Sandoval proceeds to slap Raquel on the butt. In front of…everyone.
The next morning, Scheana, Raquel, Ariana, and another one of her friends go to a spa and debrief on Raquel’s shenanigans. As a bridesmaid in her wedding, Raquel even asks Scheana if it’s okay with her if she walks down the aisle with Schwartz instead of her other partner. Then she FaceTimes Schwartz to ask him if he’s down.
“I’m starting to think Raquel actually might have feelings for Schwartz because it feels like she’s living in some sort of romcom and I think she’s the only one in it,” Ariana says in her interview.
James and Ally are laying by the pool when Schwartz approaches them and James brings up his make-out session with Raquel the night before.
Things get contentious pretty fast when Schwartz tries to play it off and James reminds him he’s talking about his ex-fiancé.
Meanwhile in Los Angeles, Lisa Vanderpump meets with Greg, the Toms' partner in Schwartz & Sandy’s. In an attempt to help Schwartz and Sandoval, she tries to reason with Greg about getting their restaurant open ASAP.
Back in Mexico, Lala and Scheana have a confrontation about why Lala isn’t attending all of Scheana’s wedding events. Lala explains she doesn’t want to spend time around Raquel after how she betrayed Katie. “Raquel reminds me of the girls who would go and be with Randall and like, the dirtiness of it," Lala says.
Later that night at Scheana and Brock’s rehearsal dinner, James confronts Raquel about her making out with Schwartz. “So you made out with Peter, Schwartz,” James says. “Who else can you make out with now who’s in our friend group?”
Schwartz says there isn’t any chemistry between he and Raquel, but she says their dynamic has been “very flirty.”
When Katie, Lala, Kristina, James, and Ally go out to their own separate dinner after the rehearsal dinner, Katie expresses how upset she is that Schwartz and Raquel kissed in front of everyone the night before. “I want to light them both on fucking fire,” she says.
Scheana tells her friends that she and Brock have actually been married for a year already because of his immigration status. Raquel also tells Scheana that she doesn’t want to walk down the aisle with Schwartz anymore because she doesn’t like the way he practiced with her.
On the morning of her wedding, Scheana reflects on how calm and happy she feels compared to how she felt on the day of her first wedding. She says in her interview, “I just feel so lucky that I get to be this happy.”
After making a big deal about how Katie didn’t want to attend Scheana’s wedding, she and Kristina watched the ceremony from their balcony.
And here are Raquel and Ariana sitting next to each other as bridesmaids and besties at Scheana's wedding.
At the reception, Raquel and Schwartz discuss how Katie is upset about the fact that they kissed, and even though they’re not moving forward romantically they don’t have any regrets.
When Katie and Kristina are at dinner alone together, Schwartz sneaks out of the reception and crashes their meal. He gets into a fight with Katie over his kiss with Raquel. “I hope it was worth it because we’re done,” Katie says.
Raquel approaches Lala at the wedding reception and apologizes for saying she “gives off mistress bimbo vibes” at Sandoval and Ariana’s pool party. They get into a back-and-forth about how Raquel thinks Lala, Katie, and Kristina were mean to her in Las Vegas. “It seems like you guys need to take up a hobby if all you can do is talk about me,” she says.
“A hobby? A hobby, bitch?” Lala says. “I don’t care about this. What I do care about is how you’ve affected my friend. I think it’s gross, I think it’s dirty, I think it’s disgusting, and I think you need to go find yourself elsewhere.”
“I take accountability for making out with Schwartz,” Raquel says. “I feel like there’s probably a million other things I could’ve done that would be a lot worse.”
“You know what I think?” Lala says. “I think your worth comes from the approval of a man, which is very sad to me. I think you have a mental breakdown coming. I think you’re going to need some love, I think you’re going to need some support.”
