I know every line to Mean Girls. I have a general love for all things pop culture and love staying on the pulse of what's going on in the world through social media. If you need me to quote GOT or write up a bullet list about the effects of the 2016 election, I'm your girl. I also make sure to keep up with the latest trends on different platforms so I can make your social strategy fetch enough to grow your audience.

2. Ferris Buller is my spirit animal.

Just like Ferris, I live every day to the fullest and that includes what I do at work. I do what it takes to get the job done, even if it means hijacking a parade float and lip syncing a Beatles song. I also make sure to lead by example with the people I manage and work with them to see projects through to completion.

3. Sometimes Ed Rooney is too.

Ed Rooney isn't my loser-stick-in-the-mud spirit animal. He is my administrative-cross-your-t's-and-dot-your-i's spirit animal. Rooney doesn't let anything slip through the cracks. He's got his eye on his people and on the task at hand. This is something I make sure is part of my work ethic with everything I tackle on my to-do list.

4. If I were a food, I’d be donuts.

Knowing the ins and outs of your audience is key to digital marketing success. At each digital agency I've worked at, this has been the motivator for any and all content my teams have created. Being the right amount of awkward, ironic, funny, bold, etc. in your content can be your biggest asset for reaching people online. It's all about knowing your audience, finding a strategy that works best for them on specific platforms and using the skills of your team to reach your target.

How else do you expect me to communicate the importance of putting Sriracha on everything or explain 27 reasons why JTT should make a comeback? Gifs are the ONLY way. I communicate visually in my day-to-day because social content is all about communicating visually. I do this in my personal life so that I can better know how to do this in my professional life.

8. And hashtags.

#hashtags #are #my #favorite, really anything that allows you to connect with the people you're trying to reach is my favorite. If it's hashtags, community management, executing a social stunt or doing an Instagram Live of a BTS of a video the production team is shooting, I'm there.

9. I fangirl over the important things.

When a co-worker or client has a success, big or small, I make sure to celebrate with them. I send a hand-written note, make a phone call or drop by their desk to congratulate them with a gift card. Being the cheerleader for your team is the most important part of being a manager and I make it a priority with my team.

10. It's not that "I can't even." It's that "I can even."
