The clip is part of Vanity Fair's Hollywood issue, marking the current awards season with a series of short films directed by Jason Bell.
Magazine editors asked 44 iconic British stars, including Benedict Cumberbatch, Felicity Jones, Natalie Dormer, Judi Dench and Tom Hiddleston, to reenact famous scenes from American movies. All of which can be seen here.
The clip Knightley appears in, titled 'Victory Is Assured', includes a bare Benedict Cumberbatch shoulder.
Tom Hiddleston and Felicity Jones as Bonnie and Clyde.
And Robb Stark not giving a damn as Clark Gable.
So quite frankly we're not surprised Keira's so excited.
