    So, I absolutely love teen shows. I live for watching messy teenage characters making terrible choices and causing absolute chaos.

    However, there are times when I just want to yell at my TV because a character did something that was just so dumb. I mean, they're fictional teens — obviously, they're gonna screw up! But sometimes, their choices are just painful to watch.

    Here are 24 terrible decisions teens made on TV shows:

    Spoilers ahead!!

    1. First, when Finn and Rachel got engaged during their senior year of high school on Glee.

    Rachel tells the Glee club she and Finn are "finally getting married," everyone just stares awkwardly

    It kills me how Rachel says, "We're FINALLY getting married," as if everyone was just waiting on their hands and knees for them to announce this.

    2. When Annie literally killed someone while driving drunk and then covered it up for an entire season on 90210.

    I still can't believe this was an actual plot, TBH. And then Annie only got like, three months of house arrest as a consequence?

    3. When Lucas hid his potentially fatal heart condition just so he could keep playing basketball on One Tree Hill.

    Karen seriously deserved a medal for putting up with all of Lucas's shit.

    4. When Debbie got pregnant on purpose at 15 on Shameless.

    5. When Archie pleaded guilty to a murder he didn't commit just because he didn't want to put his family and friends through another trial on Riverdale.

    Everything about this entire storyline was honestly a fever dream from start to finish. How would the doctors not have confirmed how far along Clare was? Why would she just assume Drew was the father if she had slept with Eli literally a month before? Also — you're telling me Audra doesn't know who Eli is?!

    11. When Dan decided to have a threesome with his girlfriend and his best friend, who also happened to be his GF's roommate on Gossip Girl.

    12. When Lucas cheated on Brooke with her best friend multiple times on One Tree Hill.

    I know Tristan was recovering from the bus crash, but this relationship was so rocky — plus, giving up your dream college to stay with a significant other is rarely a good idea as a teenager.

    14. When Cayetana found out Polo killed Marina, so she hid the murder weapon in her closet to cover for him on Elite.

    15. When Marcus drove his motorcycle in the middle of the night without a license and crashed because he was upset about Ginny on Ginny & Georgia.

    Troian's acting here was absolutely phenomenal, but man, I will never forgive the writers for this one. Even if Toby thought he was protecting Spencer, this was terrible.

    17. When Rory and Dean had an affair while he was married on Gilmore Girls.

    And Maya just...let him keep doing this for like, weeks? And then they were surprised when Cam was mad?? To be fair, I understand why Tristan was afraid to talk to Cam in person. But geez, guys.

    21. When Rachel cheated on Finn and said they were "even" because he slept with Santana before they were together on Glee.

    This was just infuriating on so many levels. Not only did he cheat on Kate by making out with Jeanette, but he tried to gaslight her — a kidnapping victim — into not believing her own memory. Seriously effed up!!!

    23. And finally, pretty much every single decision ever on 13 Reasons Why.
