19 Times "Gilmore Girls" Characters Knocked Dean Down A Peg

    One of my all-time favorite comfort shows is Gilmore Girls. No matter how much time has passed, it's always nice to return to Stars Hollow.

    To this day, there are a lot of debates over who Rory should have ended up with. However, I think most of us can agree that Dean Forester was definitely not the guy for her.

    Sorry, Dean. You made some points in Season 1, but after that...you had to go.

    On the show, Dean was usually painted as the "perfect first boyfriend." However, upon my rewatch, I've noticed that there were a few occasions where he got humbled a bit.

    So, without further ado, here are 19 times Dean was roasted on Gilmore Girls:

    1. When Lorelai shut this energy down reallyyy quickly:

    2. When Rory literally bolted from their breakfast date to make it to school on time, and Luke couldn't help himself:

    3. When Jess delivered the greatest roast of all time:

    4. And when he pretty much perfectly summed up Dean's character here with "tall and mad":

    I know Jess was also being a total jerk in this episode, but come on. It was pretty funny.

    5. When Rory didn't exactly give Dean the response he was hoping for:

    Dean says, "i love you," rory says, "i love the car"

    6. When he didn't understand why Lorelai and Rory thought The Donna Reed Show was sexist, and they said it all with a look:

    To be fair, Richard was being totally awful and rude in this episode. However, this scene still makes me laugh.

    9. When the only nice thing Lorelai could think of to say about Dean was that he was tall enough to reach the water bottle:

    10. When he made a huge stink over Rory focusing on school instead of spending all of her time with him, and she told him to stop being a baby:

    Okay, Luke definitely should not have put his hands on Dean. Still, "turn around, bag boy" makes me cackle.

    12. When Louise had this very relatable reaction to Rory and Dean as a couple:

    Okay, so Tristan was obviously the bigger jerk here. But still. "We're just about to build a clubhouse" is pretty funny.

    14. When Lorelai told Luke that Dean and Rory broke up, and Luke was very obviously #TeamJess:
