33 Of The Most Emotional, Heart-Wrenching TV Couple Scenes Ever

"I'm ready for this. I know you couldn't count on me before, but you can now! You can. Look, you know we're supposed to be together. I knew it the first time I saw you two years ago. And you know it too. I know you do."

Like any avid TV fan, I love when I get to see my favorite fictional couples be happy together. Fluffy, domestic scenes? Wholesome, silly little moments of affection that prove how good the characters are together? Chef's kiss.

But you know what else I really love? ANGST. Heated arguments that end with the characters making up and becoming stronger than ever, ill-timed love confessions, heartbreaking monologues...it's moments like these where you can really appreciate the actors' range and see their chemistry shine.

Peyton from One Tree HIll saying, "God Jake, I can't be without you. I love you." Jake replies, "You're meant for better. You're too amazing to carry this around. You're too full of greatness and I love you too much"
