Which Female Movie Character Were Audiences Too Hard On?

The Wicked Witch of the West deserves better.

I'm just gonna cut to the chase, folks: There are a whole lot of female movie characters who audiences have been too hard on over the years. They've been characterized as women people can't stand for one reason or another, but honestly, they're pretty freaking great.

Maybe you think Summer from 500 Days of Summer has gotten an unfair reputation for being the "mean girl" who mistreats Tom, when in reality, she's transparent about not wanting a relationship from the start of the movie.

Or perhaps you believe Foxxy Cleopatra from Austin Powers in Goldmember is actually an amazing character, and you'll never understand why everyone makes fun of her so much. She rocks fabulous outfits, delivers hilarious one-liners, and sings the BEST songs!

Or maybe you think The Wicked Witch of the West from The Wizard of Oz deserves better than being labeled as an evil witch. Dorothy literally KILLS her sister in the beginning of the movie, and everyone is weirdly shocked she's angry, upset, and seeks revenge? C'mon, now.

Whoever it is, we want to know! Tell us which female movie character audiences have been too hard on in the comments below, and *why* you think so.
