Reviewer sitting in pool float holding their drink
    amazon.com

*Listen! Sometimes you want to take a dip without having to get your hair wet. It happens.

Promising review: "Best decision I've made this summer! I bought this float for a river trip and wasn't originally planning on using it to float the river and just use it at the pool. However, my friend had a pineapple float so she convinced me to take this too, and it was amazing. We floated for five hours and the pineapple didn't make it, but the unicorn rocked it! We went over some rapids, bumped on rocks and branches, and it's still in perfect condition. Highly recommend this!" —Amazon Customer

Get it from Amazon for $19.99+ (available in two sizes).

    Sephora, instagram.com

Promising review: "I spray this over my makeup at 7 a.m., and when I'm leaving work at 5 p.m., my makeup is the exact same as it was 10 hours prior. I started with the smaller bottle just to try it out, but since I'm so pleased with the results, I'm definitely going to be getting the bigger bottle!" —amycayxo

Get it from Sephora for $15+ (available in three sizes).

    3. A flowy duster you can wear with your swimsuit as a coverup, or jeans, or a dress, or whatever. It's *chef-kisses-fingers* so versatile.

Get it from Amazon for $12.99+ (available in sizes XS-XXL and 17 prints).

    4. A tiny tube of anti-blister balm to give your feet some sweet relief on hot, sweaty days. I love cute sandals season, but man, I do NOT love blister season.

Hand holding a small tube of the blister balm
    instagram.com

Promising review: "I thought this stuff was a bunch of BS. I was like, 'pssh what a waste of $8 ON AMAZON FOR THIS LITTLE THING.' Well, I put it on today on spots where my flats rub off the skin. My feet survived an entire day, INTACT! Highly recommend. This product made wearing shoes that rub on your ankles/backs of your feet doable!!!!" —Jamie

Get it from Amazon for $8.

    5. And if painful blisters do strike, a compact case of hydrocolloid bandages with a gel guard designed to treat blisters while you wear them. Plus, they're super sticky and cushy so they'll stay on and give you extra support.

    Amazon, amazon.com

Promising review: "These things are amazing. Whether you're trying to prevent a blister, or keep one that's already formed from causing you pain, these are what you need. The different sizes help to customize your needs. These are like wrapping your feet in a cloud! Also, on a totally unrelated note, the packaging for these is adorable. The plastic case makes carrying these things around fun and easy. Get these. No more foot pain slowing you down!" —Nolan6ⁿ

    Amazon

Promising review: "I bought this for a music festival and it was perfect, I wish I had thought to purchase this for previous years. I got this in yellow so the colored band on one end made it a bit more visible in the dark. The material is lightweight and easy to fold. I used this on grass and dirt surfaces and it kept our bottoms clean and dry. We were able to fit about four people sitting down at the same time, or half sitting/half lying down. Someone did spit gum on it but was able to wipe it off. I am looking forward to having it for other hiking/camping activities." —agenthippo

Get it from Amazon for $21.99 (available in six colors/prints).

    7. And! A portable hammock you can easily travel with or hang in your backyard for some professional-level chilling. *This* and a good book — it is HOW you enjoy hot weather.

Reviewer laying in the hammock reading a book in a tropical looking setting
    amazon.com

Promising review: "I looked at a ton of different hammocks, but finally decided on this one for my fiancé and I because of the higher weight limit. I'm about 140 lbs. and he's somewhere around 230 lbs. We sat in this, with our 60 lb. dog, without any sort of problem. We found, for us, it was the most comfortable to use it as a swing — to sit with our backs on one side and our feet dangling out of the other. We will definitely take it on all of our camping trips. For the price, I'm incredibly impressed." —Sarah Gonzalez

Get it from Amazon for $29.99+ (available in five colors).

    8. A life-changing shoe spray that kills odor-causing bacteria and keeps your best sandals from smelling like death. Hot summer days have arrived — now you and your feet can get through them stink-free.

Two reviewer images, one holding the spray and another of two feet with wearing socks
    amazon.com / amazon.com

Promising review: "This stuff REALLY works. All my kids shoes were super stinky and I gave each one a spray. The results were immediate and long lasting. You can't imagine how happy I am because all those smelly toes were getting to me. I also really like that it's all natural and has a fresh clean scent." —MoogliWoogli

Get it from Amazon for $12.95.

    9. An adorable new swimsuit, because cute clothes are the epitome of summer, especially a two-piece and one-piece option. That's just a fact, I don't make the rules!

    amazon.com, amazon.com

Promising review (left swimsuit): "This was my first attempt at buying a swimsuit online without trying it on, and I was super nervous...but I LOVE this suit. Finding swimsuits is always a hassle with my bust size (36D), but this keeps the girls covered. I am 5'3, 165 pounds, and got an XL and it's perfect. No cutting into my skin anywhere. I was so excited to find out that it has a lining, so it's a double layer. Definitely recommend!" —ldkeim

We loved this so much, we did a full write-up on this one-piece!

Promising review (right swimsuit): "This is one of my most favorite bathing suits EVER! It's comfortable, flattering and so affordable. The quality is great and I don't feel the least bit worried about being active in this suit. A definite must buy!!!" —Mommy In Heels

Two kids in swimsuits playing next to the six foot inflatable dinosaur that shoots out water from its nose
    Firebox

Get it from Target for $49.99.

    11. A bottle of Supergoop!'s Unseen Sunscreen — a broad spectrum 40 SPF sunscreen for protecting your skin (specifically from UVA, UVB, infrared, and blue light) *while* keeping your makeup locked in. It's super lightweight, invisible, and scentless...so, basically a dream in a bottle.

    instagram.com, Sephora

Reapplication is key, people! If you're out and about in the sun, you should reapply some type of sunscreen every two hours.

Promising review: "This is it. This is the perfect sunscreen. Supergoop has done it. I'm calling it now that Unseen Sunscreen has just broken the final barrier of sunblock for all of us. A sunblock with strong SPF, that does NOT 1) make you pale/chalky, 2) make you super greasy/shiny, and 3) sit stickily on your skin and visibly in photos. Not only does it not do the above, which I NEVER THOUGHT POSSIBLE, it also comes with antioxidants and good stuff for the skin. It applies feeling EXACTLY like a primer, almost immediately feels invisible from the skin, gives a vague velvety blurring effect, and accepts makeup well. Thank you, Supergoop. I'm in my late 20s, and it has never been more important to remember daily sunblock. With this, I know I will." —MsFourEyes

Get it from Sephora for $34.

    12. A razor kit subscription you can tailor to fit your lifestyle and shaving frequency, because using old, rusty razors = bad. And, hello, nobody wants to go to the beach in their cute swimsuit with painful razor bumps.

Close up of two Billie razors, one with a pink handle and a light blue one
    instagram.com

AHHHHHH! This service is something I never thought I would love or even want to pay for (it does ends up being incredibly cost-effective in the long run!), but it turns out I was wrong and I guess I don't even know myself. Not only is this my favorite razor to use in general, I love that I never have to *think* about picking up new heads or razors at the drugstore, since everything is delivered to my door when I need it. Plus the razor itself is so pretty, and opening the packaging just makes me feel like I'm spoiling myself. The shave is incredible, especially when paired with their sudsy body wash/shave soap. My skin seriously feels like someone draped a piece of silk over them and then lathered 'em up in lotion. I mean, if there's one area in my life I can make easier, why would I not do it?!

I, along with seven coworkers loved it so much, we wrote an entire review on the Billie razor.

Get a razor kit from Billie starting at $9.

    13. A cutie lil' desk fan featuring a four-inch frame (tiny!) to create a soft breeze, no matter where you're working.

Reviewer image of the tiny fan on a desk
    amazon.com

Promising review: "I needed a USB fan for work to help keep the air flowing in my cubicle. This fan is powerful for its size and doesn't take up a lot of space. It does make a little bit of a whirr noise, but it's pretty quiet and non-obtrusive." —Querie Marie

Get it from Amazon for $15.99+ (available in three colors).

    14. A dry shampoo POWDER (!!) so you can ditch the shower on late mornings and get hair that *looks* like it just got a fresh wash — humidity be damned. Hey, nobody has to know it's going on day three...or five.

Reviewer's before and after photo using the powder on their bangs. The left photo has noticeably shinier hair, and the left (after) photo has dry, more voluminous bangs.
    amazon.com

Promising review: "It makes my bangs and roots look fresh again. And I love that this is a powder and not a stinky aerosol spray. That also means that this lasts MUCH longer. I use it every other day when I don't wash my hair since I have very oily roots. I've been using it for almost a month and barely any is missing out of the bottle. A little goes a long way." —Rachel G.

Get it from Amazon for $9.99 (available in two sizes).

    15. A nifty "wine wand" that can help reduce headache-causing histamines and sulfite from wine so you can enjoy your end-of-day glass on the back patio without the unfortunate side effects.

    Amazon

Each wand is designed for one glass of wine, but many reviewers say they can get away with using one for two glasses at three minutes per glass.

Promising review: "OMG!!!! This works. I love wine, but have terrible allergies to the histamines, sulfites, and preservatives in wine. I actually use one wand for two glasses of wine. I was very skeptical, but it works like a dream! Thank you PureWine. This is really a breakthrough for me." —Penny Froh

Get a set of three from Amazon for $11.99 (available in four packs).

    16. Or for something more cost-effective in the long run (you know, for all of us regular wine drinkers), a wine purifying carafe that doubles as a filter for removing histamines and sulfite, as well as an aerator.

Close up of an Ullo wine purifier bottle
    Amazon

Comes with glass carafe, wine purifier, travel bag, and six filters. Each filter can be used on an entire bottle of wine.

Promising review: "Great decanter and really works. My girlfriend gets headaches and earaches from red wine and this filter system really does work. She’s now converted from white to red!!! Filtration doesn’t change the taste and the aerator action is an added bonus because it really opens up." —Amazon Customer

Get it from Amazon for $129.99, and additional filters for $28.90.

    17. A large hair diffuser adapter compatible with most blow dryers so you can achieve frizz-free, natural curls — even on the most humid days — without having to spend money on an entirely new dryer. Goodbye, flyaways. Hello, sleek blowouts at home.

    amazon.com, amazon.com

Promising review: "I have fine, delicate, naturally curly hair, which I usually blow out straight. Every now and then, like when it's rainy or too humid, I like to leave it natural, but if the curl is not strong and if I don't handle it just right, I'll be left with a frizzy, shapeless mess. This unique, one-of-kind diffuser is the answer. It doesn't burn or damage my fragile tresses, but delivers great volume and keeps my curls in tact while keeping frizz-factor to a minimum. Style still looked good the next day, too, which almost never happens with fine hair. Worth every penny!" —T.L. Scarito

Get it from Amazon for $20.99 (available in five colors).

    18. A fun and actually cute rain jacket you wont mind getting caught in the rain with.

Model wearing green rain coat with large white polkadots throughout
    Asos

Get it on sale from ModCloth for $34.97 (originally $89; available in sizes XS-2XL).

    19. A ridiculously cheap and equally amazing setting powder for ridding excess shine and oil on sticky days. And if you're wondering about possible flashback, there isn't any — just see for yourself:

    amazon.com, amazon.com

I've seen this all over Amazon and Instagram, and decided to check it out for myself to see if it really was a great dupe for more expensive setting powders. I can confirm — this stuff is great.

Promising review: "I am totally blown away by this product! I have been consistently using Laura Mercier's Translucent Loose Setting Powder for about six months, and was dissatisfied with the fact that my skin appeared greasy/oily by the end of the work day. I live in a warm climate and have oily skin. By the end of my work day using this powder, my face is still very matte! I am THRILLED! This way outperforms the Laura Mercier powder and is a fraction of the cost. Can't believe it. Never going back." —AlexisJulian

Get it from Amazon for $6.99.

    20. A box of antiperspirant towelettes that'll keep you dry for up to an entire week (a week!). Just gently wipe before bed, let dry for five minutes, get your sleep on, and wake up with dry, happy armpits.

Product shot of a model holding a packet of Sweat Block with the small cloth out on their hand
    Amazon

Promising review: "For anyone who might be skeptic, please allow me to put you at ease. If you have hyperhidrosis, meaning it can be 9 degrees outside and you're still sweating under your arms, this product has the potential to change your life. I would sweat THROUGH a sport coat before noon. Enter the Sweat Block product. I've had it for three weeks and it is life changing. I DO NOT sweat under my arms anymore. I'm still on the original box that I bought three weeks ago. I had to write a review after I was cleaning the garage today in 85 degree heat...I was sweating through my shirt on my back...BUT NOT MY UNDERARMS. It is amazing!" —Frosty McGee

Get an 8-pack from Amazon for $19.99 (each box lasts two months).

    21. A pack of miracle-working oil blotting sheets if you're prone to oily skin but don't feel like washing your face four times a day. Take that (!!!), humidity!

Two review photos showing the small compact case and an after photo of a blotting sheet showing the excess oil that came off
    amazon.com / amazon.com

Promising review: "I've had oily skin my whole life and have used countless types of oils blotting sheets because they're life savers. THESE ARE AMAZING. Great deal, big sheets, and they pull out one at a time so easily. I used to use Clean & Clear sheets or knock offs of the same thing but I'll never go back. Give these a try — completely worth it. They work well and are easy to use. No negative things to say at all." —Kelsey

Get a 100-sheet on Amazon for $6.95 (available in three scents and pack sizes).

    22. Simple rain boots you can throw on when the weather app says it will maybe not sure but probably rain that day, and know your outfit will still be cute as all get out.

Lifestyle shot of a pair of patent leather, black ankle rain boots
    Amazon

Promising review: "I have been looking for rain boots for many years, and was unable to find a good one that looks chic, and that can be worn for a long time while allowing my feet to breathe. I bought these and loved them. They're so comfortable I forgot to change them indoors." —James Yan

Get them from Amazon for $14.99+ (available in European sizes 36-41 and 11 colors).

    23. A pair of very trendy sunglasses that are as equally cute as they are cheap. Really, it should be a sin how affordable these are — which is great for you, no more stress when you lose them for the fifth time.

Two reviewer photos, one showing the sunglasses that have a round gold frame with black lenses. The second is a reviewer wearing them.
    amazon.com / amazon.com

Promising review: "These sunglasses are AMAZING quality for the price. They honestly compare with my Ray-Bans. They look cute, and keep me from going blind in the Miami sun. Bonus is that they also come in great packaging. I am very impressed, and will definitely be ordering from this brand moving forward." —Amazon Customer

Get them from Amazon for $13.94+ (available in seven colors).

    24. A highly-rated body sunscreen with SPF 50 protection for all of your outdoor activities. We love protecting our skin from harmful UV rays, yes we do!

Model holding a Sun Bum bottle of sunscreen with SPF 50
    Amazon

Promising review: "This. Sunscreen. Is. The. Best. Easy to apply, easy to rub in and doesn’t feel greasy, and I actually really like the smell. My husband, who tans in 5 minutes, also really liked it. We would apply consistently during the days at the beach and neither of us burned at all! Best decision I ever made. Note: DO RE-APPLY. This ain’t a sunscreen you can just rub and go. It needs to settle into your skin, and you need to reapply every 2 hours." —MFrossard

Get it from Amazon for $11.42+ (available in four SPF options and two sizes).

    25. A pack of pimple patches, because summer means sweating and sweating leads to more breakouts. These will help you tackle them the moment you feel a pimple coming on.

Two close-up reviewer images using the pimple patches, both showing a good amount of sebum the patches extracted
    amazon.com / amazon.com

The photo on the right is evidence that these patches can pull an entire whitehead out in one piece, and that is some skincare sorcery (that I am grossly loving).

Promising review: "I'm obsessed with these things!!! I'm an esthetician, however, being in my twenties and having raging hormones has challenged my skin a lot. It's embarrassing showing up to work and having pimples meanwhile others are supposed to trust me with their skin. These are so fast acting and have saved me a lot of time and money. Super fast acting, and it's amazing how it just sucks out the infection. It's perfect for those deep, under-the-skin pimples as well, but it does take a few extra days. I will continue to repurchase!" —julia raye todd

    Get a 36-pack from Amazon for $12.50 (also available in a 72-pack).

    26. A texturizing spray that'll give instant volume back to your hair on the days when the heat weighs it down. It's made with raw silk powder that naturally adds an effortless, airy feeling to your locks.

Close-up shot of Bumble and Bumble's Dryspun Texture Spray
    instagram.com

Promising review: "Gives instant volume! Just spray and run your fingers through your hair in an upward position and it will automatically give you body and fullness. My hair is thin and chemically-used, and this spray gives it a wake up call. For extra volume, flip your head over and spray. It's a little pricey for the size you get, but it really is worth it and lasts long. I will def. be buying another one when I'm done. Also it does not make your hair sticky or stiff." —brookylnsbeauty

Get it from Sephora for $15+ (available in three sizes).

    27. And! A manual scalp massager brush that can not only relax you on hectic days, but reduce pesky flakiness and oily build-up from regular use of hair products — the very hair products used to combat humidity and heat. This will help give your mane a break.

A reviewer's closeup photo of the scalp brush that shows the pointy silicone bristles. It has a handle that easily slips between the fingers for easy use.
    amazon.com

Promising review: "If you have stubborn dandruff, TRY THIS before you give up! I have seborrheic dermatitis, which causes a greasy build up of dandruff on my scalp. When I use this product to rub the shampoo through my hair while in the shower, it cleanses my scalp and removes the build up. My dandruff has significantly decreased and is almost gone. I have tried a variety of other products to get rid of my dandruff, including high-powered dandruff shampoo. None had worked before this. Side note: I have found this product works best on shorter hair, anything longer than shoulder length makes it a bit harder to pull through your hair. Overall I am incredibly pleased with this product." —Marilyn

Get it from Amazon for $8.59+ (available in three colors).

    28. A lightweight, button-up tank that comes in so many colors and prints, you can theoretically buy one for each day of the week and never stress over what to wear again. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Model wearing the white flowy tank in white with large buttons down the front
    Amazon

Promising review: "My favorite thing about this top is that it doesn't cling to your body. It's loose fitting. The straps are also adjustable, so you can make the neckline come up higher if you don't want to show cleavage. I ordered my usual size (medium), but I could have sized down in this. I would say for a loose fit, stick true to size, and size down for a form-fitting fit." —Jasmine L.

Get it from Amazon for $16.99+ (available in sizes S-XXL and 20 colors/prints).

    29. A long-lasting eyeshadow primer to make dang sure your perfectly blended smokey eye stays in its place from sunrise to sunset. Oily skin + humid days = no match for this.

Reviewer's before and after photos. The before photo was taken at 7 a.m., and the after at 5 p.m. The makeup is still in place in both photos.
    amazon.com / amazon.com

Promising review: "So let me start by saying I have used nearly every eyeshadow primer available. From high-end to low — Mac, Lorac, Urban Decay...they don't hold a candle to Thank Me Later. I have very oily skin. I use this primer and my shadow lasts a full eight hours or more. I could get maybe five or six out of the other brands, if I'm lucky. I got this as a sample in my Ipsy bag, and I had to buy the full-size product straight away! I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Thank you Elizabeth Mott for finally making a primer that lasts! I love this stuff!" —Melissa Mae

Get it from Amazon for $13.48.

    30. A hydrating lip balm with SPF 25, because summer lovin' happens so fast, but it's not fun with sunburned, chapped lips. :(

Model holding a small tube of Jack Black's intense therapy lip balm
    instagram.com

Promising review: "This lip balm was a real find! I have tried so many lip balms and sun protection for my lips and none have come close to this tasty treat. It's high sun protection factor, 25 SPF, is so effective that I didn't suffer from the dry, chapped, and sunburned lips I get when I spend the entire day on the ocean. The taste and smell is great too. This will definitely be a staple in my beach bag and another for my purse." —natallia. ***(Primer Member)**

Get it from Amazon for $8 (available in six flavors).

    31. And a stylish fedora for keeping the sun off of your face as you romp around all summer. It's also just really cute, and I am telling you, summer is the best season for fashion.

Two reviewer images, one showcasing a hot pink option and the other in a camel color
    amazon.com / amazon.com

    Ok, ok — until fall.

Promising review: "Seriously a great find! I've been looking for a hat for a long time for an upcoming trip. All the hats I've tried were either too floppy, too small for my face or just plain uncomfortable. The brim on this hat is a perfect size to keep the sun off your face and stays perfectly in place so it won't obstruct your vision. You can adjust the sizing using a ribbon hidden in the lining, making the fit perfect even for a windy day. Overall, this hat is very stylish and well-made. Thinking of buying another one in a different color (and I'm not a hat person, but this hat is smooth like that). This is the first review I've ever written, but just had to because I absolutely LOVE this hat!" —Jess

Get it from Amazon for $16.45 (available in 21 colors).

Ahh, here's to a sweet, sweet summer and hot weather.
