    1. Make overnight oats BEFORE you go to sleep so you can wake up to a delicious breakfast.

I only allow minimal effort in my household.

Get quick 1-minute Quaker Oats from Amazon for $2.48, and this delicious blueberry banana pecan overnight oats recipe from Quaker's Instagram.

    2. Buy yourself a sandwich maker that's versatile enough to cook up a variety of breakfast goodies in under five (!!) minutes.

Promising review: "The single best appliance I own. My boyfriend sent me this sort of as a joke; we both thought it was both ridiculous and brilliant to have a McMuffin maker in your house. And then I tried cooking with it for the first time. Holy crap, it's AMAZING. I ended up using frozen waffles for the bread; you have to trim them just a tad, but they are the perfect amount of crispy, and less prone to burning than English muffins. I love experimenting with this, and have built some truly amazing sandwiches. Waffles, eggs, avocado, Swiss, and ham. Waffles, egg, corn salsa, jack cheese. If you can fit it into the rounds, you can make a sandwich with it. The panel under the egg slides out easily and cleanly when the egg is cooked (I find four minutes is perfect for cooked eggs with runny yolks), and the whole middle section can simply be tossed in the dishwasher." —Elizabeth Joy Weaver

Get it from Amazon for $23.76+ (available in four colors and with a timer option).

    3. AND! Order yourself this cookbook to go with your new sandwich maker so you always have a different recipe to try.

Promising review: "I was pleasantly surprised by this cookbook. I bought it BEFORE purchasing a double breakfast sandwich maker. I am very mindful of clutter and 'useless' appliances so I consider carefully. After reading through this cookbook, I couldn't wait to order my sandwich maker. It along with this book is a gem! Even though the 'maker' comes with a few recipes, this book really takes things over the top! I highly recommend it. Although it is true you can make these recipes on the stove/toaster, it is not as much fun or convenient as having the sandwich maker to go with it." —mary mitten

Get it from Amazon for $16.66.

    4. Make a yummy and protein-packed smoothie with this blender and removable to-go cup. You can quickly throw in your favorite fruit and ice, blend, and then literally head out the door!

Promising review: "All the people complaining about this blender breaking, overheating, or not being for everyday use are using it wrong. I bought one of these in 2013, use it five times a week, and it still works great. Here's the thing that most people don't realize: It has a small engine. While it's fairly loud, it is quieter (and weaker) then most full size blenders. It blends ice and fresh/frozen fruit and veggies very well, but needs enough liquid to do it correctly. And by correctly, I mean in 30 seconds or so. If you're holding the thing down for more than a minute or two, it is at risk for overheating (although mine never has).

Here's what I do: Fill the bottle up 50-60% with milk/water/juice, fill the rest with fruit/powder/peanut butter, blend for 10-15 seconds, take the bottle off and shake to mix (not necessary, but it makes the process quicker and helps you decide if you need to add more liquid), then blend for another 10 seconds. It will not make super thick smoothies that you have to eat with a spoon. If it doesn't seem like it's blending, add more liquid!

**2016 Edit: I've had this thing for three years now, still use it five times a week, and it still works great!" —Michael Bryant

Get it from Amazon for $19.49 (available in six colors).

    5. And to expedite your morning smoothie process, do a simple meal prep at the beginning of the week by making bags of packaged fruit.

This is really easy and will save you so much time in the morning! Just measure out how much of what fruit you want and freeze for up to three months. You can do this with veggies, too!

Get the complete recipe and instructions from Tasty.

    6. Use a flip waffle maker with removable plates for an effortless breakfast that's super easy to clean — just remove the grids after they've cooled, stick them in the dishwasher, and go.

The grids are dishwasher safe so you can actually enjoy a morning meal and not have to worry about a long cleanup.

Promising review: "Got this for Christmas and couldn't be happier. It is exactly what I wanted. A REAL Belgian waffle maker. Nice FAT thick yummy delicious Belgian waffles. I've gone on Pinterest and found a huge site of all these great ideas you can do with a Belgian flip waffle maker. I was crazy happy with just my delicious, fluffy Belgium waffles but the recipe ideas are endless. I can't wait to try them all. The one big tip I do want to give you guys is when you use two eggs, separate the whites. Add the yokes in as usual, but whip the whites till they are whipped into peaks. Then at the very end just delicately fold the whipped egg white into the batter and cook. Boy oh boy what a huge difference that makes. Oh, and the clean up is a breeze with the pop-off plates. Just load them in the dishwasher along with the drip tray (thank you very much). It is easy to store because the handle twist down and the unit slides to 45 degrees. Fits easily in my small kitchen cabinets. I highly recommend this unit and I'm 100% pleased." —MoDav

Get it from Amazon for $49.

    7. And be creative! You definitely don't have to make waffles every day. Switch things up and use your iron to press cinnamon rolls! 😋

"This pan lets me cook a perfect lil' egg I can quickly add on top of pasta, a salad, or a breakfast sandwich. If you saw me trying to cook an egg in a larger pan, you'd understand why this is such a big deal. Instead of my typical Yolk Explosion™, I now have a perfectly crisp, normal-sized egg with an appearance that doesn't activate my gag reflex." —Tom Vellner

Promising review: "My first Keurig lasted for five years of HARD daily use; I bought this one as a replacement and we absolutely love it. We love the brew strength and other features. The black and brushed steel with the blue backlight in the water chamber make this unit look far classier than my old machine. Definitely worth the money." —Maureen Hudson

A couple of coworkers and I recently tested this service out and we love it. Bek O'Connell has been trying to bring back coffee into her life and says this is helping her do it!

"In high school, I used to drink a lot of coffee. Like, gigantic cups of it. But weirdly, after a while, it started to make my heart race (in a bad way) and my head spin. After swearing off it for a some time, I've decided to get back on the horse and rebuild a tolerance. I think this is a great purchase for coffee fans and an even better gift thanks to the level of personal care put into each package. I feel like lots of subscription services are a rip-off, but this one definitely is worth it!" —Bek O'Connell

Promising review: "I have a 20 oz. and love it dearly because it can keep my coffee warm for hours! Bought a bigger one for my husband so he can have cold water and he loves it too. I love the price of these and it really works! I left the same amount of ice in an RTIC and another metal tumbler overnight and woke up to ice in the RTIC and water in the other. They fit in a regular cup holder so that makes me happy. Love them so much I even bought a couple more as gifts." —Amy

    15. Perfect the art of egg cooking with a rapid egg cooker that basically does all the work for you. This trusty fella can poach, scramble, and hard-boil eggs while you get ready for work.

Promising review: "I love this little cooker. First, it makes hard boiled eggs that are delicious and not cracked and it's very easy. I know that making boiled eggs is not actually difficult but I cannot explain how much easier it is to just put the eggs in the little cooker and walk away with no worries at all. The ability to hard-boil eggs rapidly and easily is why I purchased this product but it is not even my favorite feature. I LOVE the little omelet tray. I have now prepped eggs mixed with turkey and veggies in containers and just pour them into the omelet tray in the morning, plug in the cooker and walk away and get ready. 10 minutes later I have a delicious and healthy breakfast ready to go! I've struggled with finding quick and healthy breakfast ideas that work for me and aren't oatmeal and this really is the answer! Also — the cooker is much smaller than I was picturing it being which is super convenient for storage." —Grace

They come out beautiful every time, never stick to the pain, and clean up is a breeze.
