Here you are, listening to the rules and following them — LIKE YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO — and for some reason there are people who are just doing whatever the heck they want, as if the rules don't apply to them. The rules should apply to everybody!! They're for our own good!!! And the rule-breakers aren't even being punished, which just annoys you even more.

People who aren't following the rules

They text you, and you text them back almost immediately, and then they take, like, three hours to reply. What is up with that?? Did they just throw their phone into the sea??? Why did they text you if they didn't want to actually communicate?!?! They're not showing you the texting courtesy that you're showing them, and that is infuriating.

People who don't text back quickly enough

Look, you enjoy close friendships and relationships, but you canNOT be spending 24/7 with someone. You need time to do your own thing! To be alone!! You can't miss someone if you can't get them to leave you alone!!! But some people just think that if you care about each other, you should be all up in each other's business all the dang time, and it's irritating the heck out of you.

Clingy people

What are you, their mother? Their maid? Absolutely not. But some people just keep leaving their crap all over the place, and if you don't clean it up, it just STAYS THERE FOREVER. UGH!!! And sometimes those people are like, "Well, just tell me what if you want me to do and I'll do," as if you're their manager. YOU ARE NOT THEIR MANAGER. You just want them to be an adult and clean up their stuff!!!!!!

People who don't clean up after themselves

You make plans to meet people at a very specific time, and you even arrive early so that you can be sure to be there on time, and these people just show up whenever the hell they want. Sometimes you call them to find out where they are and they haven't even left yet!!! It makes you feel like they don't value your time — BECAUSE THEY DON'T. It's disrespectful, is what it is.

Chronically late people

Hey, you know that sometimes it's cathartic to vent about things, and sometimes something popular can really annoy you. But there are some people who just really like hating EVERYTHING, and also like to make fun of people who DO like stuff, as if being a downer makes them cool or interesting. It doesn't! Just let people like the things they like!! It's not that hard!!!

People who think hating things constitutes a personality
