Oh! And one of my parent's friend's told me that if I swallow watermelon seeds, a watermelon will grow in my tummy. I'd already eaten some seeds so I was totally horrified and started crying and making a scene at this big party. He must've been so embarrassed, I feel bad!

I laughed out loud at the mushroom one! Not my parents - but my brother - convinced me that if you bury money, it'll grow into a money tree. I'd plant the measly amount of coins and bills I had and he'd follow after and dig it all up to keep for himself!
