At this point, Tiffany Haddish is pretty well known for being one of the funniest people in Hollywood.
That means she's going to make a lot of jokes whenever she does interviews. Exhibit A: This Oscars segment with Kelly Ripa.

Brad Pitt's name came up, and Tiffany said the following: "I just met him in the elevator... He said in one year if he’s single and I’m single, we gonna do it, so you know what that means."
Of course, the quote became newsworthy because...that's what happens when one famous person says anything about another famous person! That's just how the internet works!
Tiffany noticed that people were talking about the whole thing, and decided to clear things up with this epic tweet:

Moral of the story: Tiffany doesn't want to date Brad Pitt but she DOES want to chill with Angelina Jolie.
