Pie floater

Cheese and bacon roll

Cheese slaw

#Cheeseslaw is amazing with fried chicken, sausages and in burgers. You can NOT have a BBQ in the Hill without it #ABCBrokenHill https://t.co/t3sSDIE0nn

This one's a specialty from Broken Hill in rural NSW, and though it hasn't quite made it into mainstream Aussie society, it has a lot of fans as a side dish at a BBQ. It's basically coleslaw with heaps of mayo and a cup of shredded cheddar cheese mixed through.

Caramello Koala

Chook, coleslaw and dinner rolls

Choc-tops

@JohnOhOfSydney @KimCummms I'm enjoying a choctop tonight at movies. A must.

These ice creams are eaten at the cinema — and at the cinema only. If you saw someone sitting in a park eating a choc-top, it'd look extremely out of place. It's just a scoop of ice cream, covered in a hard chocolate shell, in a waffel cone.

Kanga bangas

Chang's noodle salad

Dim sims

Chiko rolls

Anzac biscuits

Blue heaven

Neenish tart

And finally, a halal snack pack
