Here's What The Cast Of "The Inbetweeners" Look Like Almost A Decade Later

The fact that so many of them are dads kind of freaks me out.

Since his breakout role in The Inbetweeners, Simon Bird has gone on to star in more Channel 4 comedies, most notably Friday Night Dinner. He's currently acting in a West End play, The Philanthropist, where he plays a philology professor. In off-camera news, he recently welcomed his first child into the world.

    2. Jay Cartwright (James Buckley)

Another cast member who's now a father, James has two children with his wife, model Clair Meek. He's currently starring in the BBC comedy series White Gold, alongside his former Inbetweeners castmate Joe Thomas. You can also find him on his Youtube gaming channel, Completed It Mate, where he has over 300k subscribers.

After finishing The Inbetweeners, Joe immediately went on to star in Fresh Meat, alongside comedian Jack Whitehall. He's also acted in a serious movie, The Darkest Universe, where he played a drifter. Oh, and he's also engaged to Hannah Tointon, who played his Inbetweeners love interest, Tara.

    4. Neil Sutherland (Blake Harrison)

Blake Harisson has taken a wide-range of acting jobs since the show – from playing Private Pike in the 2016 film Dad's Army, to voicing Scoop in the reboot of Bob the Builder. His best known role since The Inbetweeners comes from staring alongside David Cross in The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret.

    5. Carli D'Amato (Emily Head)

For the past year she's been a regular cast member on Emmerdale, playing the role of Rebecca White. Fun fact: Her father is Anthony Head, aka Rupert Giles from Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

    6. Charlotte Hinchcliffe (Emily Atack)

In 2010, Emily participated in Dancing on Ice, where she was eliminated in the 8th week. She's since continued her acting career, appearing in shows such as Father Brown and Tracey Ullman's Show. Another celebrity relation for you: Emily is a distant cousin of Sir Paul McCartney.

    7. Mr. Gilbert (Greg Davies)

A regular on the UK comedy scene before the show, the 6ft 8in comedian/actor continues to make appearances on panel shows such as Mock the Week and Would I Lie to You?. He was previously in an eight year relationship with labour MP Liz Kendall – the couple split in 2015.

    8. Mark Donovan (Henry Lloyd-Hughes)

Henry Lloyd-Hughes has really diversified his acting portfolio since playing school bully Mark Donovan. On film, he's appeared alongside Jesse Eisenberg and Mark Ruffalo in Now You See Me 2 . On TV, he played David Miliband in the film documentary Miliband of Brothers. He's also a regular on the theatre scene, having appeared in The Changeling, Rope, The Miracle, Punk Rock, and Posh.

    9. Tara Brown (Hannah Tointon)

Hollyoakes fans will recognise her as Katy Fox, and if you cast your mind back further you might remember her from CBBC's Kerching!. She's set to star in a new production of Strangers on a Train, which starts touring in early 2018. As mentioned earlier, Tara is engaged to Inbetweeners co-star Joe Thomas, who she's been dating since they met on the show.
