    On May 3, more than 80,000 residents of Fort McMurray fled their homes as the city was put under mandatory evacuation. These images were taken by Google's Terra Bella subsidiary on May 1 and on May 5, giving a sense of the scale of destruction to various parts of the city and the surrounding forests.
