What Movie Have You Seen As A Child But Rewatched As An Adult To Understand Better?

With age comes wisdom, right?

If you're anything like me, chances are you LOVE rewatching old movies from your childhood.

That's because you're now able to spot details you missed as a kid, allowing you to have a better understanding of the movie.

For example, I remember watching 500 Days of Summer as a teenager and thinking that Summer was the worst. But rewatching it as an adult has made me realise that Tom wasn't exactly the best person either.

Meanwhile Blade Runner was something that I had to study in high school, so I immediately wrote it off as boring. But now that I'm older, I can appreciate how amazing and complex the movie really is.

Lastly, let's talk about Shrek. Even though it's meant to be for kids, there are a bunch of hilarious adult jokes in there that I can now finally understand.

So, what is a movie you had to rewatch as an adult to fully appreciate? Leave your answers in the Dropbox below and you could be featured in a BuzzFeed Community post or video.
