    1. Mad Hippie Vitamin C Serum is a lifesaver for anyone who just wants to look alive and have their skin glowing like the actual sun.

    AnaMaria Glavan / BuzzFeed

"I have dry skin and suffer from the occasional breakout, sure. But a huge problem I have with my skin? DULLNESS, dammit! My Instagram may tell you that I’m young and full of life, but my skin will tell you a different story — it is so tired, so often. SO! I’ve been wanting to try this natural, vegan, and cruelty-free Mad Hippie Vitamin C serum for a while...and I’m so glad I did.

A lot of the reviews on this product say that it has an outstanding brightening effect, and that’s absolutely true. After cleansing my face, I add a few drops of this to my fingers, tap it on my skin, follow it up with a moisturizer, and I love it. I wake up to a glowing complexion — it just looks like I got a fantastic night of sleep, which is usually not true. I’ve also noticed that my skin is more even, and I actually don’t break out as often (even during that time of the month...which is a miracle). And while the bottle may look tiny for the price, you really only need a few drops each time you use it, aka one bottle will last me for a long, long time. I feel like this is one of those all-in-one miracle products that can really remedy all of your skin problems. Give it a try!! I'm so happy I did." —AnaMaria Glavan

Get it from Amazon for $27.19.

    2. Harry's Body Wash and Bar Soap make your skin squeaky clean and will have you smelling like a tropical dream.

    Kevin Smith / BuzzFeed

"Harry's is mostly known for its disposable razor subscriptions. Basically, you order a starter kit and based on whatever plan you choose they send you razors and shave gel in the mail. But now the company has branched out from razors and entered into the body wash and bar soap business. The company kindly sent me some so I could try it out and I'll admit at first I didn't think too much about it. It's hard to rip me away from my trusty Old Spice body wash.

Regardless, I switched up my routine for the sake of you beautiful readers and tried both the bar soap and the body wash. The flavor that I was most intrigued by was fig. I smelled it before I put it on and loved it. It wasn't too sweet, and at the same time wasn't overpowering. It just smelled good and fresh. I used a liberal amount and it lathered up nicely. It was great because it didn't leave a film and my skin also didn't feel like the Sahara desert. It just felt clean, and the smelled lingered a bit, something that I like from a body wash.

To be honest, the bar soap wasn't much different from any other bar soap I've tried before, but again the smell was really good, and the lather was nice. I feel like if you're using a bar soap, lather is pretty important and this one delivered. Again it didn't leave my skin feeling dry and I loved the smell. Overall, I'd say if you're looking to switch up your body wash products or looking for a gift for the guy in your life, I would recommend checking this out." —Kevin Smith

Get them from Target: The FIg Body Wash for $6.99 and The Fig Bar Soap $3.99.

    3. Fenty Beauty Summer Daze Iridescent Lip Luminizer Trio proves once again that Rihanna is the queen of makeup and continuously gifts us with a piece of her swag in every purchase.

    Ignacia Fulcher / BuzzFeed

"I'm not much of a lipgloss girl. In fact, my motto is 'matte forever,' but I really wanted to be super fun, flirty, and playful this summer and what says that better than a set of three iridescent glosses to make my lips juicier than a couple of mangos? Sounds like the right bet to me! The pack includes three really dope colors — Single, Bilingual, and Ready To Mingle.

The consistency isn't as sticky as the basic-ass lipglosses you're used to and it applies smoothly on your lip without any clumpiness. The formula has weight to it, but it can be layered with your favorite matte lipstick for an otherworldly, show-stopping ~lewk~ that'll leave everyone fucking SHOOK. I'm personally not a fan of Bilingual (although I love the name, who even is the head of Rih's branding department, I must know?!), it just didn't match with my undertone so well, but I know others will LOVE it. Rih also blessed us with a Summer Nights trio, because Lord knows she wants us to be all sultry for the club or even snatching up a summer bae if you choose! So, if you're looking for a truly care-free and free-spirited look inspired by the style icon Riahnna herself, you should give em' the good ol' college try!" —Ignacia Fulcher

Get them from Sephora for $32 (available in two color trios).

    4. Amore Pacific Enzyme Peel Exfoliator works like magic and can refresh acne-prone skin with the help of natural papaya enzymes to exfoliate your beautiful face!

    Zoe Burnett / BuzzFeed

"I have very sensitive, acne-prone skin with rosacea so exfoliating has always been a challenge for me, I have tried various physical and chemical exfoliators over the past couple years but have never really been happy with any of them. Exfoliators with AHAs and BHAs always irritated my rosacea, as did physical exfoliators. So I pretty much gave up on exfoliating all together until I discovered this product by Amore Pacific. It’s a super gentle powder exfoliator that you pour into damp hands and rub together until it forms a lather. Then you massage it into your face for like 60 seconds and rinse. It’s formulated with papaya enzymes that somehow exfoliate your skin?! I have no idea how it works but I don’t care because IT WORKS! I’ve been using it for about two weeks now and my skin already has a smoother texture (my makeup is sitting way better on my skin) and I’ve been having less breakouts. And it doesn’t irritate my skin at all, even if I use it multiple days in a row. The areas on my face with rosacea actually look less red after using it (instead of as red as a tomato which happens after using any other exfoliator.)

I was definitely hesitant to buy this product at first since it’s $60 a bottle (tbh I bought it from Nordstrom because of their return policy because I fully expected to be returning it) but now that I’ve used it, I will absolutely continue to buy it. Also, the bottle is fairly large so I expect it to last a long time, especially since you don’t need very much product to get the job done. Oh, and it smells so nice!!!" —Zoe Burnett

Get it from Nordstrom for $22+.

    5. Dr. Jart Ceramidin Cream moisturizes your combination skin, giving you the right amount of hydration in the places that need it, without your face getting super oily and gross!

    Jessie Gaynor / BuzzFeed

"Please raise your hand if you've ever felt personally victimized by combination skin. My combination skin is a champion multitasker: It's super dry around the jaw area, oily in the T-zone, highly sensitive and prone to redness, and frustrating no matter the season! I've tried a lot of different moisturizers over the years, ranging in price from $8.99 to >$70 (I know — I KNOW), and it always went the same way: If it moisturized my muzzle (is that a cute or a gross way to refer to my lower face? I can't decide), it left my forehead a puddle of grease. But if it spared the grease, my face was dry, dull, and itchy. I assumed that no matter what, I would always be either a little oily or a little dry, so one fateful day in Sephora, I said, essentially, 'Fuck it, I'm just gonna buy the one with the packaging I like most,' which happened to be Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin Cream. Turned out, it was also exactly what my fussy skin needed.

This cream is chock-a-block with ceramides, which are apparently the Hot New Ingredient (HNI) in skincare. Look, I'm going to be honest: I have no idea whether any of that is even remotely scientifically valid. But I can tell you that I have seen a significant difference in my skin since I started using this cream two months ago. When I bought it, I was in the midst of a cold, and I had the very fetching nostril dryness that accompanies excessive nose-blowing. After two days of twice-daily application, all trace of dryness had vanished. This stuff also claims to 'alleviate signs of sensitivity,' which, as a skin sensie, I can corroborate. I haven't seen a trace of the garden of little red patches that used to bloom all over my face when I lotioned up. AND! My formerly typical late-afternoon forehead shine is a thing of the past. My skin stays hydrated and matte all day. Oh, and it smells, subtly, like a very fancy spa — sort of earthy and fresh, like some expensive kind of dirt that only Gwyneth Paltrow knows about.

At $48 a tube, it's not cheap. But it is without a doubt the best thing I've ever done for my face (okay, aside from quitting smoking)." —Jessie Gaynor

    6. Shiseido Eyelash Curler can get your eyelashes higher than the stars in the sky, making you camera-ready just in case a rogue paparazzo passes you by.

    Shiseido / Via

"I’ve been using this Shiseido Eyelash Curler since I was in high school and consider it an absolute must-have product for stunning lashes. I’ve tried other eyelash curlers and none give the same dramatic curling effect. The shape of the curler grabs all of your lashes from edge to edge and a few pumps of the curler gets your lashes nearly at 90-degree angle. I currently keep one in my makeup bag and one in my car console to use on the go. For no makeup days, I’ll just use this curler with no mascara to instantly look more awake. When using with mascara, I curl them before and after I apply the mascara and the end result is AMAZING. (I use the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara, a cult favorite that’s totally worth a try if you haven’t used it.)

This eyelash curler is often compared to the one from Shu Uemura, another Japanese beauty brand. I own both and personally prefer the Shiseido. I’m able to get the curling pad closer to the base of my eyelashes and the handle is a little more user-friendly. If you’re considering eyelash extensions but don’t want to throw down the $$$, definitely give this curler a try!" —Anna McCarter

Get it from Sephora for $20.

    7. Glossier Lash Stick will be able to stay on all fucking night, making your lashes dope AF until you say stop.

Jame Jackson / BuzzFeed, Glossier / Via Instagram: @

"When Glossier told the world they were coming out with a mascara, everyone lost their minds. Well, everyone except for me. According to Glossier's IG stories, this mascara was going to lengthen lashes, wear all day, lift and define the lashes, and come off with warm water. Noted. As someone with pretty much non-existent eyelashes, I really wanted to see if the mascara would lengthen them to the point of spidery-goodness. I feel like I sort of knew not to expect a lot of drama, so I kept an open mind.

I did, in fact, notice my lashes were longer and a bit more noticeable. I didn't notice any clumping, and because of the fine bristles on the brush, I was able to really get to the root and give my lashes that extra curl! If I were someone who was just a get up, quick 'natural' makeup, and go, then I could definitely understand the hype. And as someone who has severe allergies (hello under-eye bags), it was also assuring to see that this mascara didn't irritate my skin. Oh, and completely unrelated-yet-related: The day I tried this, I forgot to wash my face when I went to bed. I woke up the next morning, surprisingly to those darn lashes still in place, not a smudge in sight. This mascara impressed me, and that's a pretty hard thing to do. I'd wear it again!" —Jame Jackson

    8. Mac Cosmetics Strobe Cream gives you an amazing, natural glow without looking super oily, so you can continue shining like a star.

    Ciera Velarde / BuzzFeed

"I've been searching a subtle highlighter for a long time. Every time I use highlighter, I feel like I'm wearing so much makeup I'm about to perform on Broadway or dance in a parade. Even though I do love that look on the weekends, I really wanted to achieve an understated look while going to work.

After trying MAC's strobe cream in Goldlite, I've finally found that ~daytime glow~ I've been trying so hard to achieve. This strobe cream works as a moisturizer, so there are so many ways to use depending on the look you're trying to achieve. For my routine, I put it all over my face first, then apply foundation, and then apply another layer of the strobe cream just on my cheekbones and up on my temples. This helps me achieve an all-over radiant and dewy look while still accenting my cheekbones without going overboard. My roommate also uses this strobe cream by mixing it in with her BB cream and loved the illuminating effect it had on her face.

If you're looking for an everyday product that will help you bring out your natural glow, this is the perfect product to incorporate into any makeup routine. Hey, there's a reason this product is a MAC classic!" —Ciera Velarde

Get it from Ulta for $34 (available in four colors).

    9. Kat Von D Ink Liner will stick to your eyelids like glue, and won't fade throughout the day, while giving you a bold-ass wing fit for a true rebel.

    @katvondbeauty / Via, Kayla Suazo / BuzzFeed

"I was 12 years old when I tried to sneak out of my house to school with bright blue eyeliner on. Unfortunately for me, my parents didn't appreciate or understand my Britney-inspired ~lewk~ at the time and made me take it off. Tragic, I know. Well here I am, a grown adult who is willing to splurge on a product that rookie- and pro-eyeliner users alike are obsessed with. I'm talking about Kat Von D's Ink Liner, and holy goodness it's *more* than what my preteen self could've dreamed of. What makes this liner so incredible is its felt-tip brush that offers super-crisp and richly pigmented lines that you could — oh, I don't know — casually execute the most perfect cat eye in BLUE with, even if liquid liners have never been your thing. And because Kat Von D is heaven-sent, this product is also vegan and cruelty-free. It's waterproof, and boy, does it live it up to that claim. I took photos halfway through the day and right before I washed my face so you could see just how well it stayed on.

I walk a lot since I live in New York City and don't own a car, and, as pictured, this held up on a humid spring day. With other liquid liners, I've experienced smudges and flakiness by midday. Washing it off is a total breeze, which I don't understand at all, but there's no fuss when removing it with makeup wipes or other cleansers. It also survived a full workday and then a workout, so IDK, this must be some type of witchcraft because that never happens with my other liners. In short, this eyeliner is amazing and will withstand a breakup with your bestie, a breakup with your boyfriend, and turning down a trip to Paris." —Kayla Suazo

Get it from Sephora for $20 (available in eight shades).

    10. Glow Recipe Soothing & Healing Green Tea Mask is a godsend to anyone who wants to get into skincare, but literally cannot be bothered with 1000 steps.

    Sarah Han / BuzzFeed

"I'm Sarah and I'm a skin care addict who's definitely guilty of being lazy at times. So let me introduce you to a humble product called the splash mask. It takes a mere 15 seconds of your time and you can do it right in the shower. Basically, if you're anything like me, you loooove skincare but get lazy about doing every single step on a daily basis. For me, I'm *laziest* about masking. This is where my lazy-friendly savior comes into play, Blithe's Soothing & Healing Green Tea Mask. I'm a SUCKER for anything with green tea in it — nothing screams 'calm down angry face' like green tea does, tbh. I love multitasking in the shower, so when I found out that I could mask in the shower, my skin care game changed.

This splash mask is such a quick and painless option that uses lactic acid and botanical extracts to instantly re-texturize and smooth out the skin, and it boosts radiance over time as well. And when I say 'instantly,' I really, truly mean the results are immediate, people. My skin magically feels baby soft and as if three years have been sloughed off. My pores are way less visible and my skin feels properly hydrated, though I still follow up with serum and moisturizer afterward. All you have to do is pour 1/2 to one cap-full of liquid into your palms, pat all over your face, and wash it off after 15 seconds. That's right, 15 SECONDS!!! If you prefer to do your skin care routine ~outside of the shower~, fret not! Just pour your splash mask into a clean bowl of water — ideally, a capful requires 700 ml of water, so adjust accordingly! Stir it up with your equally clean fingertips, and then simply splash or pat as normal until your face is damp! Follow up with air drying or some gentle towel patting action. So now that you have the low-down on splash masks, splash away! It only takes 15 seconds, in case you forgot!" —Sarah Han

Get it from Sephora for $45.

    11. Supergoop CC Cream serves as a lightweight substitute for a full face of foundation, and smooths out your skin for a picture-perfect finish every time.

    Elena Garcia / BuzzFeed

"I have big pores and I cannot lie. They have invaded my face, and based on everything I've been told by a slew of skincare professionals, they're basically never gonna go away! That, combined with the acne, dark circles, and just the general awfulness of my skin means I'm just never gonna feel comfortable living a no-filter, makeup-free kinda life. I have ALWAYS dreamt of having flawless skin and being able to just throw on some lip gloss and mascara and feel confident walking out the door, but alas, I am simply not that courageous. Now don't fret, my pets: If your troubles are anything like mine, I have found a miracle potion to soothe your woes (and your skin). It's a magical little tube filled with the slightly tinted powers of Supergoop's CC cream and it's going to make your skin look like you've put it through an IRL filter.

Not only does this CC cream work as a substitute for foundation when you don't feel like doing a full face, but it's paraben-, sulfate-, and phthalate-free, enriched with omega-3s and 6s, and provides you with some solid SPF 35 coverage. TL;DR: It makes my skin look totally picture-perfect without a ton of work! It currently only comes in just two shades, but the coverage is light enough that it works on a wide range of skin tones. And, hopefully, they'll expand the line so that EVERYONE can enjoy the happiness it provides." —Elena Garcia
