A touchscreen toaster is something I never knew I needed — but I do.
Promising review: "Works well for shredding larger portions of meat, like pork. Plastic appears to be of higher quality. Sufficient room in the opening for most finger and hand sizes. The pointed tips shouldn't cause injury unless you're careless. I'd highly recommend the use of quality protective gloves; you're not only dealing with the mess of shredding itself but also, most likely, some elevated-temperature food." —Legardi11

Promising review: "I had a two-hinge garlic press, which worked well but the garlic often got stuck and it was not easy to clean. I am pleasantly surprised by how this garlic crusher has such a simple design, yet it is so effective. As you press the garlic, the minced garlic will be collected on top of the grater and you can easily scape it off with the little knife that came with the kit. I also love the silicone peeler! It makes peeling garlic skin a lot easier. With these tools, my hands longer stink from cropping garlic!" —CL

I have one of these and it has been a game changer when making cookies. I love that each one comes out the same size, making it easier than ever to know precisely how many will fit on my baking sheet.
Promising review: "Why didn't I have one of these in my kitchen drawer before?! I bought the medium-sized scoop originally to make a large batch of cookies for Christmas, but today it came in handy when I had leftover batter from my banana bread recipe and it made the perfect scoop to fill a regular-sized cupcake liner! Now I'm thinking about getting the small size for my mini cupcakes! Super easy and they came out perfectly uniform and totally beats trying to use a spoon! Handles have a nice silicone grip, too, and help with hand fatigue. :-)" —Michi K

BuzzFeed editor Kayla Boyd recently purchased this and can't wait to give it a whirl! I have a similar one and use it to remove any unwanted lumps and bumps from sauces and soups, but also to make dalgona coffee!
Promising review: "Amazing blender! I've had other (cheap) models of immersion blenders. While they did what they were supposed to do, they did not have quality that this Mueller one has. I absolutely ADORE that the piece that does the work is all stainless, not cheap plastic. I use mine mostly for doing soups, and it does a wonderful job even on 'tough' kohlrabi. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a GOOD immersion blender!" —Judy D.

Promising review: "Buying this knife sharpener has changed my life! I used to burn water, but now I'm on par with chefs like Gordon Ramsay! My knives are so sharp that I could cut off a finger and would not even notice. Paper-thin tomatoes and onions for a tuna fish sandwich? Not a problem! Thank you, KitchenIQ, my life will never be the same." —J.W.

Promising review: "This product is the bee's knees! Best-ever product to chop ground hamburger, sausage, etc.! Makes taco meat, spaghetti meat sauce, and sausage soooo easy to 'chop' while cooking to have a small and uniform texture! Must have! Just hate we didn’t have these 30 years ago! Lol! Have purchased both styles for myself and and several for family members. Very sturdy, heatproof, and dishwasher safe! Wellllll worth the price!" —Darla Farmer

Promising review: "All the years I have been grilling I have said I gotta get one of those. Well, in the age of COVID I no longer put off those experiences. This is not high-tech, no bells, no whistles, it doesn't even connect to the internet. Just a piece of iron with a handle. But it works so well. Soon as it arrived I shoveled the snow off the grill, fired it up, and cooked a nice 2-inch-thick piece of steak. Beautiful grill lines on one side and beautiful hatch pattern on the other. And it tasted great. Tomorrow burgers!" —SeekerGeorge

Promising review: "I had another chopper that worked perfectly fine, but when I saw OXO had come out with one, I ordered it. As expected, I liked it much better than the first, which I gave to a friend. I particularly like that it is deeper and not as long, so stuff doesn't pile up under the chopping surface, and the best feature is that it has a hole in one end so you can simply dump it over a bowl when it's full. The little plastic grid is a nuisance, though, so I just don't use it. As long as you rinse it immediately, food doesn't usually stick too badly. OXO has the best designed products in my kitchen. I wish they'd design a self cooking and self cleaning stovetop." —Springlering

Promising review: "I bought this about a month ago and thought I'd give it some time to review. This is my first espresso machine, and I must say, I am very impressed. The reason I bought it was mainly because I was tired of reloading my Starbucks card, and I missed real Italian espressos from Italy. The Breville is spot-on!
At first, like everyone else, I had a bit of a hard time getting the dial to register correctly in the espresso range. I settled on the Starbucks espresso beans with the grind set to three. When you grind the beans, start off just barely filling the filter, then gently pressing the grounds to the sides. After that, grind a little more just so you can make a little rounded hill. Then, tamp firmly. Milk frothing is a breeze as well.
Honestly it's not a difficult machine to use. My 11-year old daughter has the whole process down pat and has officially become the family barista. My wife won't drink a capuccino unless my daughter made it." —TheFutureMe

Thanks to this handy lil' tortilla press from Verve Culture, making tortillas at home wasn't much of a challenge at all. The press is made in Mexico from old Singer sewing machines and other recycled irons! The cast-iron should last you, basically, forever so it's definitely worth your money. I still can't believe how easy they were to make! We used Maseca's corn flour (the bag has instructions on the back how to make the tortillas) and it was so simple. They came out *so* well I was beyond impressed with myself.

Promising review: "We read an article in Sunset Magazine about The Best Ice Cream Makers, and they rated this as the BEST! We decided to splurge and couldn't be happier! We made a few of the recipes that came with it and all were good, however we have since gone VEGAN! We now make THE BEST Vegan Ice Cream with coconut milk or almond milk! It's so nice not having to deal with ice and salt like our old machine, or with having to remember to pre-freeze something that never really works! With this machine, you can decide you want yummy ice cream in an hour or so, put the ingredients in, push the button and wait for the 'Ice Cream Man' song to play and ENJOY! My parents' verrrrry old blender gave out on them recently, so they were on the search for a new one. I came across this one from Hurom and figured it was worth a shot — and it didn't disappoint. My dad has been using it to whip up a variety of smoothies, shakes, and cocktails (my sister has requested a weekly mojito happy hour while quarantining with them). He's a tough critic and says this blender is worth the splurge. It has pre-programmed settings that work flawlessly and has a built-in safety system to prevent it from overheating.
Promising review: "I've had this griddle for a couple weeks now and have been very pleased with it. I've used it to make pancakes stove-top, steaks on the gas grill, as well as eggs and potato hash. With just a light rub of oil prior to cooking I haven't had any problems with food sticking, it performs beautifully. It is a hefty piece of cookware though and one should use care moving it around to avoid personal injury or damage to things like glass stove tops. Be patient getting it up to temp, all the cast-iron soaks up a lot of heat before it's ready to go." —Brian L

Promising review: "My husband loves to cook. We have two very small children, so while his meals are mostly yummy, they are also sometimes burnt. :) This was perfect for him. He's able to turn it on, run into the next room to save the day with a plastic bag and a washcloth for whatever blowout-esque mess I'm dealing with, forget he's cooking, run back into the kitchen frantically when he remembers, and arrive only to find the meal practically cooking itself. Best. Gift. Ever." —Jake the ChefturnedDaddy

My family and I used this pizza oven for the first time on Mother's Day and it was a huge hit! It gets *extremely* hot very quickly. We made four pizzas the first time we tried it and each one got better as we went — practice makes perfect! We picked up dough and cheese from our local supermarket and made our own sauce for a little extra homemade touch. Can't wait to use it again!
Promising review: "We've wanted a pizza oven for a long time. The regular oven only gets to about 550F and the BBQ doesn't cook the top of the pizza well enough. Then this amazing thing comes along. It delivers as promised. Read to launch pizzas in 20 minutes. In fact I found that lower than max temp worked perfectly and avoided the over-charred crust. The 16-inch size is nice to allow room to maneuver 12-13" pies around to cook them evenly. I used the provided dough recipe with success so far. I look forward to trying some other crust types. If you are on the fence about this, listen: Buy it! Nothing easier than gas. Pizzas on my second try came as good as the best restaurant pizzas I've had. Keep the toppings light and you will love it too." —matthekman

I have this wok and it's fantastic! My husband is the main chef in our house and he was super excited to try this pan out — it did not disappoint. We made stir fry vegetables and chicken in it. This machine comes with settings to let you make bread gluten-free, decide what kind of crust you want, and add little mix-ins like fruit and nuts by reminding you partway through the bread-making process to add them. The inside is also dishwasher-safe, so there's less cleanup and more bread consumption.
Promising review: "My husband and I cannot stop baking. This arrived over a week ago and we have made two loaves or dough or jam daily! I can't speak for its longevity (I hope it's excellent, it seems sturdy!) but this puppy can crank out some delicious household staples. Pizza dough, fresh bread, *French* bread, bread with fruit or nuts, CAKE, and yes even JAM!! Amazing! It can tackle anything. Cleanup is ridiculously easy, just don't scratch the nonstick surface! The recipes need some tweaking to calibrate with your specific machine (I found that most needed more moisture), but some of the mistakes are still tasty! I was skeptical of the jam-making feature and ended up being extremely impressed." —Ether
