A holder for their vinyl records, a Star Wars mug, Nintendo-inspired coasters, and so many more ideas you haven't thought of for Dear Old Dad.
Promising review: "I know everyone says this, but I REALLY don't usually write reviews — really! I generally order from Amazon and once the purchase arrives I forget about it. But this is truly a great item to have around. It's compact, has all the connections I need, has built-in wireless charging, supports micro SD cards so it can be used as storage, has a built-in light that's pretty bright — it's just so freakin' handy! Order an extra one for a buddy so you can nerd out ." —Alex

Promising review: "This is the first Lego set I have ever put together. I bought it because I grew up in the (now) retro video game age and thought this would be a really cool item to display in my home office. What an incredible piece of nostalgia! It took me two mostly full days to complete, which was actually a real pleasure to do. At first, I just wanted to get to the end to see the final product in person, but as I got lost in the moment putting it together, I actually wanted to slow down because it was so therapeutic I didn't want it to end. As others have mentioned, the item was shipped with no outside packaging, so if you are ordering this as a collector's item, I wouldn't do it through Amazon. But if, like me, you just want a really cool piece of nostalgia, I recommend this 100%." —Norcalsurf

Promising review: "I frequently lose my glasses every year. Glasses necklaces break, the glasses slip out of my pocket. This holder looked interesting so I thought I would give it a try. After a month, I still have my glasses and am beginning to trust the holder to not let them go. I would recommend this product to others who suffer from the same eyeglass-losing syndrome I am have. So far, so good." —Nancy

I have one of these bad boys and it has honestly been a game changer. When I posted on my Instagram that I had received one, the responses I got were WILD. People are PASSIONATE about this gadget and now I understand why. I've used it on the arches of my feet and have way less pain than ever before. The nozzle at the end contracts at a high speed (think, a tiny punching machine) that surprisingly doesn't hurt but leaves your body buzzing in a good way. At thise point I've gotten one for my sister, my parents, and my in-laws who are all in love with this gadget.
Don't be intimidated by its appearance. It's simple to use and extremely effective. It feels similar to managing a hand mixer — weird, but true. In my opinion, it's worth the money and it actually does work.
Promising review: "I received a Mini as a gift from my daughter last Christmas and LOVE it. It helps my sore muscles, aches, and pain a great deal. It’s small, lightweight and not noisy, I take it every where I go. Bought one recently as a gift to my brother for his birthday so we can spread the love and help his aching body." —Po W.

Promising review: "This boxing machine is durable. It took me literally seven minutes to put together, it was so quick and easy. Gloves are an awesome added bonus. They are durable and comfy as well. This is a great buy for people who are looking for a nice workout but don’t want the gym. I live in an apartment. My neighbors can’t hear it below me so overall I say this is good quality for the price." —Brittany L.

Promising review: "Of all the things I have bought that I didn't need, this is one of my favorites. Beer is hard to get out of the cardboard carrier in the top of my fridge. While just taking them out and sitting them on the shelf would have solved this problem as well, this solution is more fun. They float and technically it does make a tiny bit of extra space under the beer for small things like cheese or something." —AbbyValentine

My husband is admittedly a "gadget guy" and has had one of these kits for as long as I can remember. He's a big fan of the brand and loves that every set comes with a lifetime warranty.
Promising review: "Seriously, I have been repairing small electronics for decades now, over 30 dang years, and I will say this is probably the best deal and collection you can get for simple to even complicated repairs. It has a crapload of bits, but essentially everything you will need as opposed to the next larger offering, though I am still considering getting that for my dungeon downstairs. I keep this upstairs literally in the kitchen since a lot of impromptu repairs occur at the dining room table, but I have not been let down. This is top-notch/quality material and manufacturing. It not only feels comfortable but is also very strong, and bits do not let go of screws. It has a great deal of bits too, 64 in fact. It pretty much covers all the phone and laptop screws you will encounter and even has some socket ones too. Nice touch." —Riboild

With a single click any gamer will be able to cycle through two different devices without having to unplug ANYTHING. Convenience is key, people.
Promising review: "I purchased this splitter for use with my television and a PlayStation Vita TV console and Nintendo Wii U console. I ran out of ports, so a splitter seemed to be the perfect solution, much better than unplugging devices every time I needed to switch. This product is simple to use: plug the two sources into one side and the output location in the other, and you're done! It can also be used to split one device to two locations, like displaying a video game or television show on two different monitors. There is a small button you press in the center of the splitter to switch between the output selections. The video quality was good on the display even though it is going through the splitter. Overall, I highly recommend this product to anyone who runs out of HDMI ports on their television. I didn't find any flaws with the product. 5/5 stars." —Zero Ehxe

There are so many things you need to know about this gadget that I barely know where to start! I've been using it for the last few weeks and, despite being a loyal Mac user, I really love it. The charger itself has a USB port in it, so you'll never have to scour for multiple outlets or choose between your two devices when your phone inevitably starts to die. The screen can literally be detached and used as a touchscreen — which is pretty awesome for anyone looking to take notes on the go or wants to draw with the tablet in their lap. I've been using it to play The Sims; aka my greatest test for any computer. The fact I can play it without the computer fully blowing up or canceling the game on me is something I haven't been able to enjoy in years. My husband, who I've mentioned is a bit of a gaming nerd (sorry, Paul) was so impressed by the clarity and specs on the screen. If you're in need of a computer upgrade, consider this one.

You can stream from any Bluetooth-enabled device and the table's speaker lasts for 10 hours at a time. When it needs to be re-juiced, just use the included cable.
Promising review: "This is a great speaker. It’s loud enough, but you can’t blast it to a painfully loud volume. A friend accidentally knocked it over on my concrete patio, and it didn’t hurt it at all, which impressed me. I use it as a speaker for my projector in my living room. I move it to the center of the room and it’s perfect, I don’t generally need to turn it all the way up. The sound is best if you are sitting at the same level as the speaker. It sounds better than my Sony sound bar. The battery lasts a long time, and the Bluetooth hasn’t disconnected on me yet." —Mike W

My husband had been complaining about back pain and his tendencies to slip into terrible posture habits while sitting at his desk. Now that he's working from home he's spending even MORE time in his computer chair (seriously like...13+ hours a day including working and gaming) which makes the investment in a serious chair feel a bit more justified. Since getting this chair he feels like he's sitting up straighter and not feeling stiff by the end of the day. He is forever talking about how comfortable this chair is and how much more his back feels supported since switching from his old chair. This chair is pricey but if you're someone who spends a lot of time sitting at a desk (like many of us these days) it's definitely worth it.

BuzzFeed Editor Rebecca O'Connell has played with these and was a big fan. She explained:
"My friend has these and there is one question that I think about CONSTANTLY. Like, YES you can live in a mansion with a secret library and slides and a functioning Rube Goldberg machine that feeds you breakfast — but at what cost?"

My husband is the real gamer in this family (I dabble, OK?) and he loves his HyperX Alloy keyboard. The brand allows you to choose which kind of key switch you prefer to game with — for lack of a better term, this is a game changer. The red switches are more linear, the aqua switches are more tactile, and the blue switches are more click-y. You can learn more about all of the switch options here.
Promising review: "I had no idea a keyboard could be this amazing. Disclaimer, yes I'm a first time mechanical user switching from a standard Logitech membrane. I tried this HyperX board next. And wow! The typing feels like nothing I've ever experienced. I got the aqua switches. The software opens and is pretty much self explanatory. I already started making macros for Photoshop and making certain keys different colors so they stand out. And one more 'wow' for the brightness and clarity. This is so awesome. I'm hooked." —David Soumis

My husband is obsessed with this mouse — and he's tried many (many!) mice out. It's lightweight and was designed with help from actual professional gamers. It moves super fast on the screen and glides very smoothly. Dad will be impressed you thought to gift him this at all, TBH.
Promising review: "Honestly, there's no better way to say it, this is my endgame mouse. At 59g on my scale, this is by far the lightest mouse I've ever owned. The grip is amazing for claw grip, and I consider myself to have rather medium to large-sized hands. If you have the old GPW, even if it doesn't seem like it, the upgrade is well worth it, especially if you're just gonna sell the old unit as I did. Just went out to test the magnet's strength due to another reviewer saying it couldn’t hold much, and it held a ball-peen hammer, a 10-inch socket wrench, two 10-inch crescent wrenches, a couple sockets/extensions, and some screws (tray mounted sideways). CAT is my brother-in-law's all-time favorite brand. He works for a water company and can often be found working in his own backyard on an array of projects — these are the only shoes that have held up to how hard he is on his feet.
Promising review: "I'm on my feet a lot. I need a shoe with support and a sole that can hit a concrete floor 15,000 steps a day. I love the chunky sole on this shoe. I'm short, so it helps the height deficit! But the sole really takes a hammering and keeps the stress off the rest of my body. I ordered a size 7.5 wide which is usually what I wear. I was able to fit my custom orthotics comfortably into the shoe. I expect they will last longer than the year I get out of other high priced sneakers." —Susan Murray

My friends have been playing this at the beach since we were in high school — it's always been a big hit. The rules are quite simple: break into two pairs but position yourselves across from one another. Then all you have to do is aim your flying disc toss at the "kan." If your teammate deflects the frisbee to hit the kan, you get one point. If the disc hits the kan on its own, that is two points. If your teammate taps the frisbee into the kan that's three points. If by some lucky chance you throw the disc RIGHT INTO THE SLOT, you win!

With my first shave, I expected to feel the warmth but I doubted it would provide such a dramatic level of comfort. What I didn’t expect was how much sharper this cartridge was. The feedback from each stroke was very different from the feedback on the Gillette Pro Glide Cartridge. I very much like the Pro Glide, but this cartridge was very smooth with hardly any tug on the hairs.
