One editor who loves this brush wrote, "It has two heat settings (plus a cool setting to set your style) AND ***ionic power*** to reduce frizz and add massive shine. And it has ceramic coating to reduce heat damage to your hair. ... I friggin' love this brush. ... All you need to do is section your hair out, depending on how thick it is, and roll it under your hair just like you would a regular round brush — but because it releases hot air, there's NO NEED FOR A HAIR DRYER! Truly easy. And you get better results than with a flat iron, because you're lifting and brushing out the hair rather than just pressing it flat." Promising review: "I found this product through a BuzzFeed article for those with frizzy hair and THIS PRODUCT DID NOT DISAPPOINT PEOPLE! I put this serum through the ringer; I got this to stand up to Bay Area fog AND the nasty, humid heat wave we got a couple weeks ago. No frizz, no extra curls. Nothing! On top of that, it made my hair super glossy. I'm very impressed. Heads up though, a little goes a long way. One pump is enough to cover my hair and I have medium length hair. Also, it can make your hair look oily if you use too much. I do have oily hair so working on my ends first then working to my roots works for me." —Amazon Customer

Promising review: "I have finally found my go-to styling product. I have fine 4b hair and have tried everything over the past 10+ years of being natural. This styling cream allows me to do a one product twist out. Leaves my hair defined without having to leave twists in for DAYS and after a few days my hair is BIG without being frizzy. Love it." —SDHrrs
Promising review: "I had very LOW expectations for this. I accidentally cut my bangs too short the other night because my puppy distracted me mid-cut. I thought it would be funny to buy this and wear it one day. I got it for laughs mostly, not really expecting it to look normal. AND OMG, I AM SHOCKED! First of all, it's the exact same shade as my hair color. It was super easy to put on. The hair feels soft and realistic. I am so beyond amazed. So far, no one has been able to tell that the bangs are fake! I love them!" —Jrod

Promising review: "Great product! This shampoo removed months/years of product buildup in my hair that I didn't even know I had. After just one wash, my hair felt lighter, finer, more voluminous, and I needed less styling products to achieve the same results. But be careful not to use this too often as it can dry out your hair. I have long, dark fine hair and I use this about once every two weeks, or once every four to five washes." —Katherine

Promising review: "I have type 1A hair. Straight. Fine. Thin. Limp. Doesn't hold a style or volume well. Vivid color; my base is usually hot pink.
Shampoos, even the stuff meant for colored hair, fade out your color quickly, any color. That's just a fact. Restricting your shampooing routine to a couple of times a week really lets your color have better-staying power. I still shower daily, I just don't always wash my hair. I spray this stuff in, careful to not overspray, let it sit for a minute or two, and then give myself a good scalp rub and scratch. REMEMBER: Your hair must be DRY!
Dry shampoos use starch, in the case of Batiste it's rice starch, which is the lightest starch or all the starches used by dry shampoo manufacturers, and a chemical base, IE alcohol, to help deliver it. The alcohol evaporates, and starch is left behind. The starch absorbs grease and odors and even less strong odors. Rice starch doesn't leave as much residue like some of the other dry shampoos I've tried (12-15 different kinds, people. That's not hyperbole.) This one helps combat oil and also lets me have that volume I basically have not been able to achieve any other way." —JW

Promising review: "This is absolutely amazing for Mohawks. I'd been trying to do that for a while but regular banana clips are too small and not shaped right to cut it, so I tried this. Both my sisters are buying theirs after seeing how well it worked." —Zeph
Promising review: "I've been searching everywhere for a banana-clip-style for curly hair. I wanted something that would hold my hair up but also give good cascading curls without ripping my hair out. I bought both sizes, and love them both. Buh-bye elastics that tear my hair! I. LOVE. THIS." —nmjh
